That slur is something I would never say. I care about this place, but having a doorman make false claims and create scenes in front of regulars is going to drive people away. I have had three separate problems with this Isaac gentleman and recommend avoiding this bar if you see him working there. Thankfully, anybody that knows me knows that I would never use a racial slur, but that doesn't make it okay.

The drinks were served in disco balls and tasted yummy, not too strong. Maybe I missed it but I wish they served food. I only saw popcorn. The popcorn smell was so good though. The bedroom photo op was so fun, the highlight of the event for me! The only thing is, is it's probably the stickiest floor bar I've ever been to. It stuck around, and eventually I went. Once there, I was beyond thrilled to have been wrong in my initial misgivings! It somehow manages to do several tricky things at once and quite well. It immediately and satisfactorily evokes the starport cantina that inspired it, for those with the cultural background and physical wherewithal to notice or care about such things. It, despite being based on a fictional space opera venue, feels utterly cozy, inviting, and authentic. Like a neighbourhood bar should. Its skillful execution does a rare and heroic job of making what has long been a pretty gross stretch of Hollywood Boulevard feel almost... pleasant, which is no mean feet! As this is 2026, and practically every joint and eatery is now stupidly expensive -- especially in touristy places like the Walk of Fame area -- Scum & Villainy has so far (knock on boa wood) managed to keep a lot of quality food and drink options on the slightly-saner side of expensive! While I fear jinxing it with this comment, I feel compelled to say the special they call the "D20 Meal Deal" is a good one for the era in which this review is being typed. As of right now, it's $20, and is comprised of an ample burger, generous portion of fries, AND a choice of their splendid signature cocktail, the Blue Milk; or a beer (and they have some VERY powerful ones available); or a serving of well liquor. Better yet: getting the special unlocks FIVE DOLLAR refills! Yes, not "cheap", not by pre-2020 standards, anyway... but certainly a LEGENDARY VALUE for the present crummy age! So... yeah... lovely place that offers a welcoming atmosphere and actually "elevates" its surroundings. Highly recommended to locals and tourists alike. The entrance is through Sunset, the hotel has Valet parking. Plenty of restrooms.
