My favorite inclusion were the chili fava beans. The sliders were fine, but nothing special, and benefited from the splash of tapatio I added. The chicken schwarma flatbread's flavors were all muted -- the chicken, tomato sauce base, and cream dressing were pretty flat and didn't have much seasoning. I haven't been in several year but decided to spontaneously drop in with an out of town guest who seemed pretty impressed. There's areas you can rent for private parties. Obviously there's a pool, unsure if non-guests of the hotel can use it, I highly doubt it. But plenty of seating around the bar and a few couches around the fire pit. The bartenders allowed us to order beers though they were closing down. With it being in the Roosevelt hotel, it's a pricey place to hang out but for 1 drink, it's good for even locals to stop in - you don't feel like you are in the middle of Hollywood. It's so peaceful with palm trees and it's very quiet.
