General Admission has a great chef, Mario Valdez. He puts great items on the menu in a bar/pub type environment. They have a wonderful menu with stacked sandwiches, yummy salads, really good burgers, and shareable plates which are so good. They even have something I call pizza, but it isn't really, it is a flatbread with great toppings or another bread type item that sure reminds me of pizza with similar toppings. They have MARGARITA which is CRISPY PEPPERONI WITH A DRIZZLE OF SPICY HONEY, MELTY CHEESE, AND MARINARA ON A THIN, FLATBREAD. They also have great chicken tenders, wonderful wraps and yummy salads. My favorite being the Caesar. The service is great and the place is clean and comfortable. They have great drinks and some nice big screen TVs. This is not just some Sports Bar, it is better.

Sergio (?) was amazing. He was funny, attentive and put up with our banter. Fun little bar, came on a Sunday night and even though it wasn't too busy--the vibes were good (music was a plus). Ps. wagyu sliders are yummy! Would come back :-)

Came to GA for Wednesday night trivia and had a great time. Staff is very welcoming and it seems supportive of one another, as more than one server checked on us repeatedly through our stay. I was surprised they offer all day HH specials on Wednesday, alongside trivia, but I was happy to make some selections of nibbles from these specials. I started with the lively "Love 40" libation of vodka and lemonade raspberry. Very refreshing. Hubs ordered the Classic burger, which was $12 on the HH menu and served a la carte. He also foregoes the garnish, preferring just a meat and cheese burger, so it looked kinda small without the arugula, caramelized onions , tomatoes and pickles, but he said it was tasty and satisfying. I opted for the Carne Asada Street Fries, which were a full plate of yumminess, topped with a delicious dollop of fresh guac. They had a sliiight kick, but having the pico on the side made them manageable for my delicate palette. lol Lots of fun, teams were in high spirits and the trivia host kept the music pumping and the good vibes flowing. I love the large, open windows that made the space feel even more inviting. We found parking on the street, but there were also a few spots in the back. This relaxing, friendly, chill vibe spot makes for a great gathering place. Lots of room to bring friends and family. I look forward to returning for a trivia rematch soon. Cheers! "CC"

This place is a total game day winner. The atmosphere is lively and fun! Various screens, great energy, and the kind of vibe that works whether you're deep into the game or just there for a good time. Our server Mai was phenomenal. She was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything during our visit. On the food side, the lemon pepper wings were crispy and packed with flavor, the mozzarella sticks were perfectly gooey, the crispy rice was a surprisingly fresh and tasty addition, and the churros were the perfect sweet finish. Highly recommend, and ask for Mai when you go!

My salad was great, chicken was perfectly cooked and the peaches were grilled perfectly! Service was excellent despite being a busy day. Mai & Britney were great!

We had plans to be in the area, so we made brunch reservations at General Admission. When we arrived, we were surprised to be told that GA is not affiliated with Open Table. It was a busy time with the place near capacity with football fans. The team member who greeted us said that we can sit anywhere, except for the "Reserved" table. We were lucky to have found one open table at a nice corner spot. Despite the packed house, service was super-friendly and efficient. Our food came out fast, and drinks refilled continuously. Checking on customers was non-stop and everyone seemed just happy to be there. The vibe was infectiously fun. We ordered the Chik, Biscuits & Gravy and Chorizo Skillet. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the perfectly crispy chicken and chorizo gravy but found the biscuits dry. Some butter or extra gravy may have helped. My Chorizo Skillet was satisfying and delicious. We parked just down the street (free on Sundays). Valet parking was also available.

Really great place! Love going here for Wednesday night trivia. They have a great happy hour that goes all night. I got items off the chef's special, tuna on rice cake and spicy chicken sliders, both of which were delicious. Parking was easy though I know from experience on the weekends it can be tough. Very friendly and attentive staff!

Stopped in here on a Saturday after a day at Universal Studios. It's like a sports bar vibe with some open outdoor seating. They have a cool little happy hour menu, but it's not available on the weekends. It has a family friendly vibe during the day and more of a lounge vibe at night. We ended up getting some chicken nachos and a couple drinks. The chicken nachos were very yummy, lots of flavor just wish there was a large serving. Service is good as well, they had our food and drinks ready pretty fast. I would love to return sometime to try out their HH menu! Nice little spot, would recommend.

Food was good, the portions that they give you is worth it. The drinks were good as well, service was 10/10 as all the staff made sure to come around every so often to see how the table was doing and food came out quick. The vibes were good with a bunch of screens to watch any game that's streaming. The only thing is I wish music would've been better as it was a weekend and was looking for hype vibes.

Diablo Burger & Fries

This might be my new "Belmont" Cool patio area, great burger, and the fries...So Good. But the wait staff is so nice and friendly, and ontop of their tables. Which is very good. Cool sports bar for sure. Easy street parking.

NBA Playoff Game between Minnesota and Oklahoma (Game 2). It's why I was up in the Valley on a Thursday night. Lost my friendly wager with a friend but had a great time catching up with friends and enjoying some good food and drinks. For starters, parking. There are a handful of spots out back otherwise, it's street parking. I lucked out and found a spot without having to do any laps around the neighborhood. Read the signs as I didn't go out looking for what, if any - the parking restrictions might be. I sat at the bar but know there's both outdoor and indoor seating. I like the open air concept - the entire front of the building is open for natural light. And fresh air if depending on what you consider fresh air in California. The place has a modern feel and is nice and clean. TV's all around so there's not really a bad seat in the place if that's what you're there for. As for service, Tiffany, behind the bar was aces. Both the server and bartender. The old fashioned, whiskey sour and margarita I had were all great - balanced and good tasting. Food was decent for what I consider bar food. See pics. Huge portions to the point I'm still full and I'm composing this, this morning after my visit last night. For future games, this is definitely on my list of places to go to as it's not that bad to get to after work seeing as I don't work too far and I'm going against traffic. Crowd was chill as well as the vibe.

Found this restaurant through the inKind app and am glad I did. I got here around 4:30pm on Saturday and there was plenty of places to seat yourself (although it got busier around 5ish and they were shifting people seated at large tables to accommodate reservations). The place itself has a really cool vibe and look inside, with good music (pretty loud though) and TVs showing all different sports games. There's also a patio with some outdoor seating. The menu has a variety of different bar food options but more upscale than a typical kitchen + bar, with reasonable prices. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, market fries and a buffalo style chicken caeser wrap to share among 2 people and it was more than enough food, with leftovers. The food was really great and the service was super fast. I paid for an hour on the meter and got back with 25min to spare. There doesn't seem to be a lot of designated parking but there was plenty of cheap street parking.

A not grilled, "grilled" peach salad...just no
Alon R.

Tl;dr: Probably fine for a beer and a game, but locals, don't eat here!!! Years later, no change. Attached is a photo of a grilled peach salad. Except peaches not grilled...hmm...description from their menu below. Also note the walnuts are not caramelized and there is no fennel. Grilled Peach Salad arugula, peaches, oranges, caramelized walnuts, goat cheese, shaved fennel, passion fruit dressing Kitchen doesn't even pretend menu description is relevant.

Fast forward, I live down the road now. Didn't remember the name or place. But my partner and I wanted to attend the "Krampus Cove"event. Which we had done at another location two years ago. We were stoked that it was at a new spot, and so close! We went on a Sunday afternoon. So it wasn't packed. Had a booth to ourselves. The decor inside was amazing. And the show was hysterical and fun. The actors are so great. Now as far as the bar goes - we plan to go back during normal operating hours and times (hopefully soon). And I can comment more. But I will say I'm excited to go back because the cocktails are super delicious, AND they have daily happy hour (5-8pm if I'm not mistaken). Huge plus. The only negatives are the parking. Very little parking lot so that could be tough on a busy day. And the service was mid. There was one friendly bartender, and another one that just may have been having a rough day. But I didn't feel really welcomed or attended to. Rest of the staff was great!

The atmosphere is incredibly romantic, the vibe is amazing, and the live band really adds to the experience. The service was top-notch as well. Roger was our waiter, and he was energetic, attentive, and thoughtful enough to send out a complimentary dessert with a candle to help us celebrate. The food was outstanding. We started with the kale sprouts and buns appetizer, then my wife ordered the mushroom risotto from their vegetarian menu, which was a really nice surprise since we hadn't seen it online and it gave her more options, and I had the NY steak. We also shared the corn elote on the side. Everything -- and I truly mean everything -- was delicious and incredibly satisfying. One thing I really appreciated was that dinner felt like an experience rather than a rushed meal. The food came out a little slower than at most restaurants, but honestly, that made the night even better. It gave us time to enjoy the music, relax, talk, and savor each course as it came out. Sometimes with upscale restaurants, you worry you'll pay a lot and still leave hungry. That was definitely not the case here. Verse exceeded our expectations, and we'll absolutely be back! It's rather intimate, and much smaller on the inside than I expected. We sat at the bar, on the opposite end from the live band, but we could still hear the music just fine. The place settings, the decor, dimmed lights, and the seats are all quite appealing and quaint. The two standouts from our meal: the Yellowtail Crudo (with a provocative pink sauce) and the Pork Belly Risotto (immaculate - every single bite hit perfectly). The outside is subtle - you may miss Verse if you're not looking for it. There is some seating outside on the sidewalk where you can order drinks before you're seated. Honestly, I didn't notice any "stars" when I came by, but I likely don't know who to look for or what celebrities look like "in the wild." Street parking is readily available up and down the street, but they also offer valet.
