It was quite busy for being a Thursday night, that's a good thing though. Staff was super busy but very nice and helpful. Although we did not get food this time we have eaten here before and it is always good (their pizza and fries especially!). House red is decent and my Mom loved her Bailey's and cream. Great ambiance too. Location is right in the middle of the lobby which is nice whether you are staying at the hotel or just stopping y for a bite and drinks after a long day in the parks

The Service: Only one server... she has to take care all the customers except at the bar. Food is served in less than 10 minutes. The Food: CHICKEN EMPANADITAS with Ancho chill dip - I don't like the dip at all.... doesn't taste fresh at all. The chicken inside the empanaditas, super dry! Maybe that is why they need the dip to make it easier to swallow the food. CUJO'S BEEF SHORT RIBS SLIDERS with Caramelized onions on toasted buns - didn't really taste the caramelized onions. The beef short ribs is quite salty. The Parking: Hotel parking lot... PRICEY!!!

Got into town a bit late and wanted a place to get dinner for the kids but also a cocktail or two after being on the road driving all day. For some reason, this place wasn't showing up on Yelp when searching "dinner and drinks", "dinner and cocktails", etc, or even "dinner", and only the breakfast menu seemed to be online, but saw people eating sandwiches and pizza when we checked in- the hotel reception said they were open for dinner til 11pm. Service was fast and attentive, they had a good menu, including vegetarian and vegan items like Buffalo cauliflower and a jackfruit "Carnitas" bowl. Cocktails and wine were good and served quickly. Not sure why so many people dinged this place just because it's a hotel bar and restaurant- actually thought it was pretty good for a hotel bar and restaurant, and I was just happy to not have to jump back in the car after all day driving just to find a place that had drinks for me and food for kids. bTW, the full menu is at https://www.taptastego.com/BURSI/outlet/order/bfb4a6a5-a13a-4a27-8a82-4dade54b8b61

Beer wine and liquor....never been sicker.

It's rather intimate, and much smaller on the inside than I expected. We sat at the bar, on the opposite end from the live band, but we could still hear the music just fine. The place settings, the decor, dimmed lights, and the seats are all quite appealing and quaint. The two standouts from our meal: the Yellowtail Crudo (with a provocative pink sauce) and the Pork Belly Risotto (immaculate - every single bite hit perfectly). The outside is subtle - you may miss Verse if you're not looking for it. There is some seating outside on the sidewalk where you can order drinks before you're seated. Honestly, I didn't notice any "stars" when I came by, but I likely don't know who to look for or what celebrities look like "in the wild." Street parking is readily available up and down the street, but they also offer valet.

They lean on the sweeter side, so it is the kind of place where you might stop in for a sugary cocktail rather than something particularly memorable. Overall it is a decent place to meet up with friends for a quick snack and a drink, but it is probably not somewhere I would go out of my way to make the main destination for the night. Still a nice little spot if you happen to be nearby and want a casual place to hang out for a bit.

Fast forward, I live down the road now. Didn't remember the name or place. But my partner and I wanted to attend the "Krampus Cove"event. Which we had done at another location two years ago. We were stoked that it was at a new spot, and so close! We went on a Sunday afternoon. So it wasn't packed. Had a booth to ourselves. The decor inside was amazing. And the show was hysterical and fun. The actors are so great. Now as far as the bar goes - we plan to go back during normal operating hours and times (hopefully soon). And I can comment more. But I will say I'm excited to go back because the cocktails are super delicious, AND they have daily happy hour (5-8pm if I'm not mistaken). Huge plus. The only negatives are the parking. Very little parking lot so that could be tough on a busy day. And the service was mid. There was one friendly bartender, and another one that just may have been having a rough day. But I didn't feel really welcomed or attended to. Rest of the staff was great!

It genuinely feels like you've stepped into Tulum the dim lighting, earthy tones, and that effortlessly elevated vibe that makes you want to stay all night. The food is solid (seriously, order the pasta), and getting there isn't a hassle with both valet and street parking options. I do wish they had something going on earlier in the week though, because a Monday night here is underrated and deserves more hype. Drinks are a highlight too. My go-to is the "Divorce Papers"--just trust me on that one. And the service? That's where they really separate themselves. Narek runs the place in a way you don't see often always present, always aware, making sure everything flows smoothly without missing a beat.
