She did take it back, she was told nothing he worked on was the reason. 2 days later the whole tire fell off because they did not even fix the strut correctly and had broke a bracket in half and didn't even put certain things back on I believe the new ships said some nut or bolt that connects the axle to the tire(not 100% sure on that). This place refused a refund and said the work they done was not the problem. The new shop had to completely replace the strut this place "fixed" and replace other parts that Midland Tire damaged. They put my grandmothers life at risk and of course charged her a fortune and won't take any responsibility for it. Stay clear of this place.

Talk about customer service! We purchased tires from Gills Point S Tire & Auto in Midland, and…read morerecently my wife had a blowout on her way from Midland to Houston after hitting a large bolt. Thankfully, we had purchased the road hazard warranty--but since she was closer to Houston, there wasn't a service center nearby. I called and spoke with Clayton, and he, along with his manager, went above and beyond to make this situation stress-free. They immediately arranged for a shop just outside of Houston to take care of everything and covered the cost directly. They were not only professional but genuinely kind about it. This level of service is rare these days and speaks volumes about how they treat their customers. My father-in-law originally purchased the tires, and now we've all seen firsthand that Gills Point S truly understands customer service. If you're in the Midland, TX area, I highly recommend them. They've earned our trust and future business without a doubt!

They released the car to me several times without fixing mechanical issues (they released it several times with a broken axel, several times with a broken AC hose and once after they drained my coolant without refilling it) even after me complaining and bringing the car back, they never had the ability to identify or fix these issues. I had to do repairs out of my own pocket and time in addition to a trip to a better mechanic. I wasn't able to return my insurance provided rental car on time and this caused an extra bill. I would recommend steering clear of BJs.

Erich took the time to listen to my nasty noises and troubleshoot with me at no profit to him. A few weeks later, my friend still couldn't get the tranny fixed and I decided it was time to take my car out of my friend's garage and in to Schmidt. Erich explained my problems and showed me the cause of the malfunction. Furthermore, he spent time with me and explained what I can do at home should the problem reoccur. This week, the culprit reared its head again. I tempted my hand at tending to the tranny, but was having trouble. I went to Erich and he gave me the tool I needed to finish the job! If you can find a mechanic that will show you what you need to do to maintain your tranny at home and then give you the tools to do it yourself, then I think you've found a winner. The garage appears well maintained. Schmidt is personable and professional. He made me feel respected (unlike those condescending mechanics). Schmidt Auto will be getting my future business without a doubt. PS Yelp has the address wrong. It's 8817 W Central Ave, Springboro 45066. If it weren't for the tire shop, I never would have found this place!
