Talk about customer service! We purchased tires from Gills Point S Tire & Auto in Midland, and recently my wife had a blowout on her way from Midland to Houston after hitting a large bolt. Thankfully, we had purchased the road hazard warranty--but since she was closer to Houston, there wasn't a service center nearby. I called and spoke with Clayton, and he, along with his manager, went above and beyond to make this situation stress-free. They immediately arranged for a shop just outside of Houston to take care of everything and covered the cost directly. They were not only professional but genuinely kind about it. This level of service is rare these days and speaks volumes about how they treat their customers. Great people to deal with does great tire and mechanic work at a fair price I've dealt with them for years and I highly recommend them

I had to have my vehicle towed somewhere because it was in safety mode and would not pass 3 k rpm and eventually chose Midland tire to do so ,here is my story. The shop I had my veh in was very close to my house But was not doing their job efficiently and was too expensive in my professional opinion. I heard about midland tire from a business acquaintance and he instructed me to call them , so I did , i. I found they are located very far away from my locution but he said they are the best , honest and professional ! I trusted this individual and his opinion ,as he has utilized midland tire and Blaines service for many years. I called Midland tire- and spoke to Tracy the secretary when I first called . ,In my experience with Tracy, she has an excellent personality very good on the phone ,very empathetic and she has excellent customer service.,Meaning She seemed to have genuinely cared. I myself am very mechanically inclined but cannot work on vehicles anymore ,so I don't I immediately began telling her what I believed could be wrong with my vehicle. She listened very attentively And did not dismiss my thoughts and ideas which I found very helpful and said Blaine the technician will be calling me soon! This was a couple of days before Christmas. Money was tight Time was constrained My other vehicle was also trying to freak out Anyway.... I spoke with Blaine the service tech. He and I spoke for 3 to 4 sessions . Explaining to me that this could be computer related and what else was going on with my vehicle. I was very worried about the price and problems with my vehicle but Blaine was extremely helpful, and empathetic to my situation , and he helped my anx by ensuring me to " let's just not freak out and just check everything out first and go through the flow chart". I have many thousands of dollars of scanners for just these situations. So I agreed ,placing my trust in him and his shop. The holidays came and went , we spoke again the first of the year, I was very concerned about the potential cost and when I could get it back. and other issues with my vehicle, this being an older model with higher miles, knowing I had to weigh out the value versus the price of the repair. I called again, on January the 2nd and Spoke with Tracy , she immediately informed me that my part had just arrived and Blaine will be beginning the test of the diagnostic and attempt the repair soon. I was gently somewhat relieved at this news, however , knowing what I do ,with my experience ,With sensors computers and mechanical issues I knew I wasn't out of the deep water yet. I realized this could take many more hours of labor , and technical investigation (diagnosis). And could be over my budget Reluctantly, I was to ponder waiting n til the middle of the year to revisit the situation I called Midland tire back to inform them of my decision, they were extremely concerned about my vehicle, issues and personal situation I spoke with Blaine and he informed me this was my decision and there was no pressure and either decision I made was mine and he completely understood. I was also informed that my bill could possibly be reduced considerably because it was during the holidays and there were very technical problems that could not be solved for the price comparison to the vehicles worth. But it's up to me To proceed or not . Essentially I knew that other "shops"" would not have understood ,, realized , empathized, ,been as empathetic to my special situation or even been as professional and expedient to help me decide As midland tire wass Midland tire is the best at this, "No comparison with any other shop" The bill for the initial diagnosis and the tow was within my budget amount Unfortunately ,I still had to make a decision to go further or not So that's exactly what I did. Blaine, Tracy, at Midland tire are amazing and truly great human beings.
