Bought a new to us car here. We had been keeping an eye on things online, and they had two we were interested in. We called ahead and they had them ready when we got there. Kolton was very helpful without being pushy. He understood what we were looking for, and explained anything we had a question about. Older car, bought as is. Had a few issues that we knew about, and they knew about. They had done a little work on it. We took it to a trusted shop later, and they took care of those, and recommended a few other preventive maintenance things. Nothing big or surprising. I'll note that they have pretty good reviews, which is unusual for smaller car dealers. Price was reasonable. Each of the staff we dealt with was great. It's not a huge dealer, and they mostly do new cars, but they had a decent selection of used. Paid cash so I can't speak to their financing. We didn't try to talk them down much because it was already a good deal. But they did negotiate readily. Sweetie is happy with her weird new car. read more

My 4th time taking the car out on 10/31 and while driving down the road like normal with no pre-warning signs from the day i test drove it...the engine exploded with rods, pinions, etc shooting out of it and flying down the road behind be at other drivers. Grateful no one had any of the shrapnel come thru their windshields and was able to swerve around what was laying in the road. Stunned, sick, and in disbelief to have this all happen 15 days after becoming the new owner. read more

I stand by the service offered at WAC! I've been a loyal customer for years and am now on my 2nd car that I've brought here. I've never purchased a car here but I know they have some great sales people too! I could go on and on about how Stu and his team took care of me when I had a van. They went out of their way to assist me even when it wasn't necessary! Now that I've changed vehicles, I've changed teams but Kelly and crew are just as great! Just waiting in the customer area is a treat. Nice coffee, pop and snacks offered for free, WiFi and comfy chairs all make the waiting experience better. I've also had WAC take me to work when I dropped my car off for service and they picked me up at the end of the day to get my car back. 10/10 for service and care!! Went in this morning to get a tire rotation as Tire Discounters next door was booked up for the day. I know they do this as I had seen them advertise it with oil changes etc. The guy at the service area podium asked if I had bought it there. I said no. He said they did not have time to do it then. I told him you have one car getting an oil change and the other bay is empty. He said you did not buy from us so I can't help you and walked in the glass door and disappeared. Their service department is great! I was driving from Maryland to Cincinnati Sunday evening when my 2002 Acura overheated on I 71 just south of Wilmington. I have roadside service through USAA and they towed me to this shop. My son came & drove me the rest of the way. Monday morning I talked to John in the service department. He informed me they would not be able to look at it until Wednesday at best. I explained my situation and that I wanted to be able to drive home on Thursday, and asked him to do his best. John called me back on Tuesday afternoon & said they had figured out what was wrong and could have the parts on Wednesday. This afternoon I got the repaired car back. I was a one-off and they had no reason to go above and beyond to help me out. I will be going back to Maryland tomorrow and likely will never see this shop again. Their effort to help a guy in a jam, with a car they don't even sell, speaks volumes about their integrity. Therefore I highly recommend them. My mother bought a car from Wilmington Auto Center in May 2015. The problems with the car started as soon as she left the lot. The car wouldn't start after she stopped to put gas in it. She called WAC and they sent a mechanic. After 20 minutes, he got the car started. He told her to come back the next day, as it was just about 6 pm. When driving home, she heard the car making squealing noises, which she recognized as a belt going bad. She tried to open the hood to look at the belts and check the oil, but it wouldn't open. The next day, the mechanics said they didn't know why it wouldn't start, because the Check Engine light was blown. He didn't have a replacement bulb for the Check Engine light. He said he'd have to special order it, and would call when it was in. RE: the hood; it took 3 mechanics to get it open. They said it was a loose cable, and set up an appointment for 2 days later to get it fixed and to diagnose the squealing sound. In the meantime, my mother and my 4 year-old daughter had sliced their fingers open on the interior door handles. The chrome tape was peeling and sharp. This was after they said they had "fixed" this problem. At her scheduled appointment, they said nothing was wrong with the hood. Also, they check the belts and couldn't find a bad belt. On the way home, the Check Engine light came on. She stopped at a parts store. They said there was a vapor leak. She called WAC, as she was told when she bought the car she had an extended warranty. They said vapor leaks weren't covered. They would be happy to fix the problem, for a fee. She declined the service. On day 89 of her 90 Day Warranty, the battery light came on when the car was started. The steering wheel wouldn't turn. WAC doesn't have towing services, so she call a 3rd party to have the car towed. WAC said the serpentine belt had dry rotted and shredded. The belts on the alternator and air conditioner were also dry rotted. All 3 needed to be replaced. She called the General Manager and ask him to replace the belts for free. He told her belts aren't covered under the warranty. But when she insisted she had been in specifically to have the belts checked, he said he could split the cost 50/50 of replacing all three belts on the car. She got the belts replaced for $86. Today (8/13/15 [2 weeks later]), the Check Engine light came on. Again. The parts store said the fuel injectors aren't closing, and need replaced. Never purchase a car from Wilmington Auto Center unless you have an endless supply of money for repairs. She went to WAC because of favorable Internet reviews and family testimonials. Now she is without a car, again, and has to find almost $500 to get the fuel injectors replaced. Overall, her opinion is Wilmington Auto Center is a dishonest company. read more

Be very careful when buying a used vehicle here and make sure the Extended Warranty date goes out past the date of the last payment. This detail and not having it changed due to first payment being given over a month later which the Finance MGR at that time promised me she would do never happened. I paid for over a 9,000 POS that can't be fixed under warranty and coincidentally died over two weeks after the Warranty ran out! Strange coincidence and talked to both owners who wouldn't give me any consideration. Beware of Lawyer minded people here. Once burned, twice learned. and adding insult to injury one brother said he'd sell me another POS for a higher price. FHATHHRIO! read more

I received what I thought was a good deal on a truck that they had advertised. They were willing to come down $1,000 off of their internet price which I thought was fair. My issue with the dealership was what they gave me for my trade-in. They gave me $15,500 for my car, and later when I checked, the car was listed for $19,000. So I felt that I should've received a little more for my trade-in, but I understand it's a business and they cant come up to private party value. I've purchased a lot of automobiles in the past, and this is the first dealership to refuse to fill up my car upon purchase. They said they only filled up new cars, and I stated that I was purchasing a $53,000 truck, and that costs more than a lot of your new cars. They wouldn't budge, and flat out refused to fill my gas tank. They honestly almost lost a deal over $50! If I didn't need the truck, and if it wasn't exactly what I had been looking for the past few weeks, I would've walked away. Yes I think I got a good deal, but I felt quite a sting when they put a quarter tank of fuel in my truck, and sent me on my way. read more

It is very rare for me to give 5 stars on anything, because I feel like there is always room for improvement. On February 18, 2015, I was on my way to work and my car burnt up. My wife drive me back home and we viewed a car online that my wife and I liked on the website of Wilmington Auto Center. I called and Ron Hubbard had the car pulled inside the garage and cleaned off before we got there.  We also liked that it was a local business. Ron showed us all around the car and then let us look around on our own. He also helped entertain our kids.  Ron showed me the figures of how much the Mazda 5 would cost out the door. It was a fair deal but my wife and I wanted to leave, talk it over, and visit a few other dealers in Cincinnati.  We were never rushed from anyone into purchasing the car at Wilmington Auto Center. We drove around Cincinnati and didn't find any other vehicles that we liked and for the right price. We even thought about renting a car for a while, but we decided to put our faith into Wilmington Auto Center and to give them the chance in keeping our business in the future. Before the purchase they put it up on a lift to look things over and described to me what they had already serviced on the car. It was actually a very good experience and would recommend people to give Wilmington Auto Center a chance. They never just left me alone without offering me something to drink and were pleasant to my wife and 4 kids. They truly felt sorry that our previous car had burnt up and knew we weren't looking forward to spending the money to buy a new car.  I just hope that they are as supportive after the sale. So far they have called to see how things were going and have also sent us an appreciation card. I had never met any of these folks before, but they were great to work with  and I believe they have been in business for I think 38 years and I can see them in business for another 38 years if they continue to respect and put people first. I had stated that I wanted to purchase a new Chrysler 300. He went over every option and color that was available that I might have been interested in having on the vehicle. He did not have the car in stock that I finally picked out. He located the car at another dealership that Friday afternoon. He said he could have at his dealership within a day or two. He called me Saturday afternoon telling me that he had received the car and it was ready for pickup. I picked it up that afternoon. I purchased a used car there back in 2011. Since it was my first foreign car I decided to purchase a service warranty called NEC at a additional cost of $1600.00 for a 5 year 100,000 plan the salesman suggested. After I purchased the car, three months into it the car needed a brake job costing $400.00. Then two years into the car it started burning antifreeze. WAC wanted $1800.00 to rebuild engine as NEC did not cover gaskets and such. So I was able to solve that problem until now when the other day the engine seized up on me driving down the highway on a Sunday afternoon leaving me stranded. I had the car evaluated at WAC the next day and found out again that NEC would not cover it, so I was stuck with paying for a new engine $1100.00 plus install. Now I have more money in the car than I could ever get out of it. Conclusion, although some people may have no problems buying a used car, I did not. So I guess the old saying "buyer beware". Do some research before buying. And avoid at all costs any extended / aftermarket warranties claiming you will be protected. Its a false since of security. read more

Clinton really helped me out on this one. I bought a brand new 2016 Chrysler 200 yesterday and I am in love with it. I went in looking at a different car but that did not end up working out in my favor. He showed me a couple different options for better gas mileage. There were a few bumps in the road but Clinton worked his magic and I ended up leaving with it the same night! I had the best experience at Wilmington Auto Center, than any dealership I've been to! My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Eric, one of their salesman who was great, and wasn't pushy and being very helpful! I was interested in a Toyota Prius they had and Eric had explained everything to me about how to run the car and everything to do to use car wisely! We was so impressed with Eric and they took us on a tour to meet all employees and told us what their specialty's was! The prior weekend We stopped at Kings Toyoto , as soon as we got their a salesman came out, didn't even greet us and just asked what was our price range was and what we had to spend. I just thought gee he was rude and didn't seem to care to help us get a car we wanted for a fair price! He only cared about how much Money we had to spend. Eric and the other great Employees and the owner helped me and worked with me to get the car I wanted for a good price!
