I decided to call Richmond's AC for another look. Their technician spent nearly two hours thoroughly troubleshooting the system and discovered the coil was actually fine. He made a few precise fixes, and now the unit is working perfectly. Honest, detailed, and saved me thousands--I highly recommend them!

I really appreciate James for showing up the same day that I reached out for help on Yelp. He responded within minutes and came by my house after his doctor appointment. I already knew what was the issue with the AC as the previous AC company who works only for home warranty companies, came out 3 times and only did a band-aid job that lasted only 2 weeks. I knew it was out of freon because the AC was leaking freon. James was able to schedule for an early morning appointment to repair the leak the following day. He put in more freon in the meantime so my house will have air conditioning until they can repair it. The next morning, Chris and his crew showed up as promised, first thing in the morning and fixed the leak. I will definitely use Richmond's Air again in the future, but for now, hopefully this leak repair will last me for a few years before having to call for service again. Hopefully my next call to Richmond's Air will be a yearly maintenance type of deal and not to fix a leak! I definitely recommend this company. As a PSA, please, please, please STAY AWAY from home warranty service companies! If you must purchase one, stay away from Fidelity National. I won't mention the name of the HVAC company Fidelity National sent to fix my AC and then denied my claim and I had to pay over $1300 out of pocket for a band-aid fix that lasted only 2 weeks!

My experiance dealing with Jose and his team during the installation was just as great. My condenser unit was on a small balcony on my 4th floor and the evaporator coil/air blower unit, Furnice were in the attic above the 4th floor. Jose was able to line up a crane and replace the old unit and install a new unit the same day as the qoute. The entire team was very professional and completed the work on time. My install was a week ago and everything has been working perfectly. My new unit is so quiet and I am noticing less humidity in the house as well. I highly recommened JD's AC & Heating if you are looking to hire a dependable and professional AC company.

I can't say enough good things about Platinum Air Solutions and Jonathan Ray. Finding an honest,…read moreknowledgeable HVAC contractor isn't easy these days, but I was fortunate to find Jonathan. He installed a new central air conditioning and heat pump system in my home, and the quality of the installation was outstanding. You can tell he takes great pride in his work. Everything was installed neatly, professionally, and with attention to detail. Jonathan also reworked and rehung my ductwork to improve airflow and efficiency, installed a surge protector to protect my new system, and corrected several other issues that had been overlooked before. He didn't just replace my old system--he made the entire installation better. He also saved me a significant amount of money compared to other estimates I received, while still providing exceptional workmanship. That's hard to find. About a week after the installation, he came back to make sure everything was working properly and to see if I had any questions or concerns. That level of follow-up says a lot about the kind of person and professional he is. The new system cools my home incredibly well, and I couldn't be happier with the results. If you're looking for an honest, highly skilled HVAC contractor who truly cares about doing the job right, I highly recommend Jonathan Ray and Platinum Air Solutions.

Parker evaluated the cause (slow leaking evaporator coil) but he wanted to be sure the rest of the system maintained integrity by performing a pressure leak test which he did a few days later. He charged the system back up, enough to get me to the pressure test. Confirming the problem, he passed me over to Hope who provided a solution and explained in detail what needed to be done, what it would cost, and how long it would take. This was on a Friday afternoon. She was able to coordinate the required new equipment, materials and schedule their construction team for the following Monday morning. Everything was in place that morning and needless to say, they knew what to do and how to do it. They jumped on it, and never stopped. No breaks, no lunch and were finished by 2:00 PM. This was a major project, having to demo and rebuild the supply plenum, remove and replace the coil section of the furnace, install a new drain pan and drains, etc. As fate would have it, my thermostat had failed and that caused a delay getting the system to start. Richard, another airWoodlands tech came out and discovered the problem quickly and provided me with a new thermostat. From Angela, to Parker, to Hope, to Cossa, and to Richard, I could not have asked for a better team from any one, anywhere. Customer service in general has failed in America, but this group is an exception. I will never have to search for an a/c contractor. Air Woodlands is the best. (A special call out to Parker. He was the key element in earning my trust and Air Woodlands)

Jack came out, looked everything over, and was here maybe 10 minutes. There was no sales pitch or pressure--just a straightforward quote for a Trane unit. We appreciated the honesty and simplicity. He wanted to personally inspect the installation before the job was considered finished. He thoroughly checked the crew's work, and you just don't see that level of customer service anymore. To top it off, KAC Express was less expensive than the other two companies that gave us estimates. Great price, quality equipment, fast installation, and outstanding customer service. If I could give KAC Express 10 stars, I absolutely would! Highly recommend them.
