All three are eager to answer questions, and happily explain processes as they go along. The products Rusted Hitch uses are top quality, and their warranty outline is well presented. We were highly impressed by the level of detail in the work: after removing the moldings/trims, they were meticulously stripped of old caulking and cleaned before being reinstalled along the new roof; when the vents and a/c were put back in place, the self-leveling caulking applied around them was neat and perfect; there was not a speck of trash left on site, and they even rolled a magnetic wheel around the ground to retrieve any dropped/missed staples or nails. Chris and Elijah took the time each day to do the job right, rather than hurry through to get home early. You won't be sorry if you put your RV in their hands.

Short back story. Eighteen months ago our classic 1965 Security Travel trailer was rebuilt by a…read moreBend trailer restoration company. Overall the rebuild did not go well. We have had multiple problems. The latest, in that 18 months, the roof sagged a bit over 3 1/2". It had been sagging since we got it back. Not good for a complete rebuild. We just did not know how bad it was initially or how bad it had gotten. Chris did an excellent job of assessing the extent of the poor workmanship and repairs needed. His estimate was also very accurate and fair. The new roof used tubular steel and was reinforced in one place to accommodate a small AC, that request was added on, if we ever decided to install one. We now have a roof that can handle being stood on if ever needed and it won't sag! Throughout the repair Chris documented the damage, and the installation of the new roof. If he had a question he called, or texted. The communication was very good and helped us trust that we made a good choice in working w/ Chris. Overall my wife and I are very pleased with the experience provided by Chris and Rusted Hitch Restoration!

Our rv refrigerator kept getting warmer and warmer so they sent Andy out to fix it. He said it…read morecould be the circuit board but then he said it was just a loose ground wire. My partner said maybe he should replace the circuit board just in case but Andy said no need. This cost us $340 to tighten a screw. The refrigerator continued to get warm then cold for the next 2 weeks, then completely died. My partner ordered a circuit board from Amazon for $40 and replaced it himself and now the refrigerator works. We made a follow up call to western RV but they never even bothered to call back. Took in a horse trailer with living quarters to have the trim work completed...they complained…read moreabout poor workmanship by previous shop. I assumed they therefore had high standards, They had the trailer over 6 months in spite of saying it would be in the shop the next month. After 3-4 months we started infrequently calling, then approaching 6 months told them of an upcoming camp trip, It was not done in time. We had another trip planned 2 wks later,,,the Thursday before they called to say brakes (which we asked them to service) needed replaced for about $800, they would not let it go off the lot without replacing them-we said ok. We got a message just before 5pm the next day, and a call just after 5pm saying the trailer was done, why weren't we picking it up? we had already left town on our trip.... We went in Monday morning at 8am, looked at the work with the employee, were not satisfied and were told to come back at 10am. We did and they said they heard all about how we were not happy, the owner was going to replace 2 cracked trim pieces, Things then went downhill. I I suggested they give us the trim and let us go, they refused. They said come back in 24 hrs, threatened to call the sheriff and have us trespassed, then agreed we could return at 1:30pm. They refused to take our VISA tho the sticker said they accepted cards. They said the machine broke over the weekend, I said I thought she was lying, she said maybe so, but they were not taking our card. They said they did not want a personal check as we might stop payment, then said it would be a felony if we did. They fixed a leaky roof vent with a sticky tape type product and charged $109. The brakes came to nearly $950, the trim work (2 doors and where walls meet ceiling, plus trim around roof vent, cost nearly $1200. The total was $2221.05. The finish was rough like fine grit sandpaper. The mitered corners were rough, there is a splice in door trim part way up the side of a door, the box around the roof vent was rough. What a complete opposite experience in customer service between the two! Ely and Tom responded promptly while the other company took a week to get back to us after submitting a web form. We booked an appointment with Tom! It has been a couple months now and we know we made the right decision going with Meet You There. Our solar system is out-performing our expectations! Tom took the time to explain how he felt the system should be configured and he nailed it. On top of the quality work, it was affordable too! Thank you Ely, Tom and Jake for the positive experience! We recommend you all the time to friends and other campers we meet. :) In our opinion, you are the only option for RV solar in the Bend area!

I found "Meet You There RV Repair & Inspection" while searching Google Maps for "certified RV…read moreinspector" near Albuquerque, New Mexico in February 2021. My wife and I were very excited about buying a used travel trailer we had located in ABQ, but we wanted a reliable estimate of how much repair it would require before we finalized that $18,000 purchase. I was very impressed with the many 5-star customer reviews these inspectors (Tom & Ely) had received, so I requested a quote. The inspection price was hefty, but I was very impressed with their professionalism, their timely responses to all my inquiries, and how detailed the inspection would be. I decided it would be an investment worth making considering I had $18K at stake. Tom & Ely spent over 6 hours inspecting the RV in question and delivered an interactive web site and a 59-page PDF report with over 60 photos including 360-degree GoPro images that give a "virtual tour" of key spots inside and outside of the trailer. The detailed report was carefully organized with serious "Life Safety" issues up front, "Major Issues" next, then "Minor Issues" and a miscellaneous "Notice / Comment" section at the end. This made it much easier for my wife and I to prioritize all the issues discovered and decide whether we were willing to invest our money and our time making all those repairs. In our case, we decided this RV was clearly not worth the risk! The number and type of major + minor issues indicated this RV had not received the most basic proper maintenance over the past 3 years and it suggested more hidden water damage beyond what is currently visible in any inspection. Now I might have discovered some of the 21 issues on this particular RV on my own, running an amateur inspection with some checklist downloaded from the web somewhere. But I am 100% certain I would *never* have discovered the number and detail of the issues that Tom & Ely uncovered and carefully documented for us. And I would probably have had a tough time sorting the truly important issues from the minor issues. Bottom line: There is no substitute for true expertise and "Meet You There RV Repair & Inspection" did a superb job protecting us from a very expensive mistake!
