Eric and his crew were amazing in finishing our RV driveway and taking care of installing drains & moving and reinstalling our pool equipment. Both me and my wife couldn't be more happy on how this project turned out. We so can't wait for the next phase of this project of refurbishing our swimming pool and patio area with them. We started working with Ismail from Pro Rank Pools in June, and while he initially came across as professional when visiting our home, the entire experience has been a disaster ever since. We gave him a $1,000 deposit, but in three months, he never provided a contract--even after multiple requests. He scheduled Zoom meetings but no-showed repeatedly without any warning or apology. His excuses included things like his laptop not having a charger. We even offered to meet on Zoom when he claimed he couldn't come to the house, but he still didn't show up or call. His punctuality was non-existent, and his constant rescheduling without communication was beyond frustrating. To make matters worse, when we asked for proof that he submitted engineering plans to the county, he couldn't provide any documentation. He has continuously made excuses, claiming the documents were with staff members who were unavailable or that the office was too small to handle it that day. Now, he says he's going to be out of the office and unreachable for a week! It's just ridiculous at this point. Where are you going that your office can't take care of customers? After months of no-shows, excuses, and flaky behavior, we're still trying to get our deposit back, and he has offered no proof that anything was ever submitted to the county. We're still out of pocket, and all we've gotten are excuses. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Pro Rank Pools. This has been one of the most unprofessional and frustrating experiences we've ever had with a contractor. Save your money and your sanity. read more

I reached out to Pro to get a quote for a pool remodel, tile and pebble tec. Erick came out the next day, provided different samples and were ready to get me on the schedule that week. Pedro was my main point of contact and he was always kind and ready to answer my questions. It did appear that some of the work may have been outsourced however the quality of work is amazing! I'm never one to side eye a company that just needs a little extra help sometimes. This whole job took less than 2 weeks in total, given that we had rain for 3 days straight which caused a slight delay. Impossible to get someone to even come out to you. I called for a simple filter or pressure issue which they quoted me for 350$ included with a full checkup. I work too....and i've made schedule changes to my own clients to cater to the times they said they'll send someone. I dont know if my job is just beneath them or too small for them to care, but Ive had my appointment pushed twice and each time I call to get an appointment confirmation they always say a technician or someone from the office will contact me at this time or this time or the next day. I've had to constantly follow up with them and they give me an excuse of why they can't get someone to give me a phonecall over a few minutes to schedule a visit. I own two businesses and this is unacceptable. They will make you feel that your job ain't worth their time. read more

This review is for the level of service based on asking for an estimate. My main contact has been Pedro. First, he was friendly and gave me the impression he was actually happy to help me. I know a lot of pool places are busy (good for them, they've got a lot of business) and many don't want to talk to new clients. It's rough getting someone to call you back much less to send a tech to come visit and then write up a detailed estimate. We all know pools are an investment. We are not only making decisions based on budget, timing, and availability of service, but also long term safety of the pool/home and the Company's reputation and service. Erick came on time to view the pool. Thank you, sir. In the meantime, Pedro has been patiently answering our questions and follow-up questions on our journey to figure out how we want to service and repair a 40+ year old pool/spa. I volunteered to write a review for them because I really do appreciate all the time they've spent on us. If their actual pool construction/repair is as good as the customer service so far, I would have half a mind to keep them a secret! I'm kidding. No gatekeeping here. I really liked Ismael but I never heard back from him after he came out and looked at the job. I texted him a few times and got promises of getting me a rendering, but never followed through. I ended up going with another contractor. It's been my experience in the past that if the communication is a problem at the beginning it's only going to get worse. My contact was Ismael. Overall, great experience, quality work and fair pricing. I did my research as well, and they didnt come the cheapest but we felt good with the proposal, description of work and customer service. Ismael answered all our questions, bounced-off ideas and did his best keeping communications. He is true professional and my wife and I appreciated that specially embarking on a sizeable project (pool/patio cover). Project didnt come without a hick-up but Ismael kept us on the loop and was honest with some of the limitations they have "subbing" some parts of the job. If there's one not so favorable experience, is experiencing some delays in getting permits... which I believe is outside of their controls. We received 3 bids to redo our 30 year old pool plaster and tile Pro Rank was lower by several thousand dollars and were able to start right away. They had a time line of just over a week scheduled but due to the tile being out of stock, not in Pro Rank's control, the job went over a few days. The only complaint is the communication was a little slow but they did excellent work and even repaired some items that weren't in the original contract for no additional cost. I had a very negative and disappointing experience with Pro Rank Pools. Everything started off fine and we scheduled an appointment for Ismael to come out to review my pool and deck area where I wanted to have work done. Ismael measured the pool and deck area and a few days later he sent me a cost estimate for the work. I was also in the process of getting other cost estimates and conducted a great deal of research on cost for replastering, coping, tile and deck work. I compared Pro Ranks estimate to others I received and they were no frills and came in at a reasonable price. I called Ismael and let him know I wanted to go over his proposed estimates and see if we can get some reductions. We scheduled a time and when Ismael showed up, we went over each line item and I went over my research for each task and questioned the pricing quoted. I explained to Ismael what I thought was a fair and reasonable charge per sq ft and linear ft based on my research. Ismael agreed to bring the cost estimates down and gave me his verbal commitment. I asked for a revised cost estimate for the scope of work per our agreement and Ismael's verbal commitment on reducing the price. After a few days passed, I didn't hear back from Ismael and I texted him and left him several messages. Ismael didn't respond to my texts and phone messages. I finally was able to reach Ismael, he picked up the call and said he was working on getting pricing from his subs and will get back to me soon. I again waited but didn't hear anything. I finally sent a few more text and called Ismael. He finally answered and advised me that he couldn't honor the price he committed to and now saying he already discounted the price quote. Keep in mind that Ismael never mentioned to me that the price was discounted nor was there any reflection of price discounts in the written estimate. I told him I was disappointed that he would not honor his verbal commitment in the price to perform the work and this is very unprofessional to lure customers then walk away from a promise in a price made to me as a customer. After a week or so, I ran across Pedro's Yelp response to me. I found Pro Rank pools in Yelp and Pedro was the one who responded and indicated Ismael would contact me. I wrote a comment on the original yelp message that I was very disappointed about the bait and switch tactics and the fact that Ismael would not honor the price he committed to me. Pedro asked for an opportunity to make this right and if he could call me after 2pm. Pedro asked me not to post any negative reviews and let him look into the matter. The day was coming to an end and I didn't get a call from Pedro. He finally sent me a text and said I wasn't on his agenda and he got busy. He asked if he could call me tomorrow. I told him the only time I could take a call was at 1230pm. Pedro confirmed to call me at 1230pm. The next day came and 1230 rolled around and no call. I texted Pedro and said I was ready. No reply. At 1250pm, Pedro called and we talked, Pedro said he was sorry there was nothing he could do about Ismael's price commitment even though he confirmed that Ismael made the verbal commitment to reduce the price quote. He went on to say there was no contract and nothing was signed. I told him this was why I asked for a revised cost estimate per my meeting with Ismael. Pedro said they would not honor the price commitment and I told him this was very unprofessional conduct as a business and they should not make price commitments if they didn't intend to honor it. So here I am writing this review. I do not recommend Pro Rank Pools as they lack the integrity of their word. They lack professionalism and if they can't keep their word. Then how does this reflect in how they perform the work. Do they cut corners and use cheaper materials. This is a poor reflection on this business. I hope my review will prevent other customers from being lied to and misled by Pro Rank Pools and their team. read more
