Mission Accomplished - Northside Carpet Cleaning filled the bill and then some! Matt & Al arrived exactly on time - 9:00 a.m. sharp. We walked through the house, checked out what needed to be cleaned, five rooms berber carpeting and a white (yes WHITE) love seat! Although both these guys are young they know what they are doing, especially Al. Based on their experience and the label on my love seat they recommended dry cleaning instead of steam. Now, got to say my love seat really wasn't all that dirty except around the bottom, but I couldn't believe how great it looked when they were finished! Very happy with the results! The steam method worked great on my five rooms of carpeting they cleaned. The whole process from start to finish for all 5 rooms and the loveseat was just around 2 1/2 hours. The carpet was entirely dry the next morning and my house still had a pleasant "citrus" smell because of the green products they used. I'm sure I could have gone with one of those big nationally-known companies, but I like using local firms whenever possible and I'm glad I did! I liked them so much that I plan on having them back to clean my tile floors.

Here is my review for Randy and Jason. They called me back promptly and was able to fit me into their schedule the next day. They arrived at the time they said they would (which is a big deal for me with kids and errands/activities). They did a quick walk through and made sure to have me move any breakables that might get in the way and quickly began to set up and do a pre-conditioning treatment to ensure all my stains could come out. It was very refreshing to have them so concerned with the stuff in my house and for them to tell me what they're putting on my carpet! They did all of my carpets and tile and as I watched I could see the dirt and color coming out! I have 2 young kids and my husband works in a kitchen and constantly walks around in greasy shoes but Father and Son was able to get out: -crayon -marker -permanent marker, oops, not sure how my kids got that :/ -urine stains/smells -juice -grease stains, even in the high traffic areas that were just black -and cat or dog hair from the previous tenants Honestly, I think my favorite part was how clean the outside bowl and area around my toilets are, especially because my son is being potty trained! Plus, they were able to remove all the calcium build up on the outside of my walk in shower! (not going to lie, I've sat there with a butter knife to attempt to remove all of this but I was worried about ruining the caulking and decided to stop) We currently rent and have lived in the same house for a year and a half, and I've never seen the shade of carpet and tile we really have! We were also rearranging our house and had 2 mattresses in our garage until the carpets dried and Jason and Randy even offered to clean those too (yes please)!!! They moved my furniture to clean under it and moved everything back with tinfoil under it to protect my carpets and furniture (and I just thought they would clean around it). The hardest part of this process was keeping my kids off the tile while the sealer they applied dried, but it was worth it! My tile is not only clean, but it's shiny!! I was very impressed with the respect they showed my things as they moved it, like it was their own. My carpets, beds, tile, baseboards, toilets, and shower look and smell amazing! I love knowing that my kids can play in a home that is safe and clean for them and that no matter the mess they make, Father and Son will be able to clean it again! These guys are very hardworking, dependable, knowledgeable, positive, and have very competitive pricing for the work they do! We further appreciated the company's desire to keep us on a regular schedule (either 2 weeks or 4 weeks) so we may retain a regular cleaning crew who we know will be punctual, trustworthy and thorough. We highly recommend All Things New. They will be continuing to clean our 2800 square foot home monthly with mostly organic cleaning products. If our experience with them changes, which we doubt it will, we will update our review for other Yelpers.

The team called their manager Lindsey to let her know and she encouraged they "push through this one" (2-3 more hours here) but she would cancel their later appointments. I was very shocked and upset the main office instructed an employee to continue working in my home while sick. A few minutes later, I requested that the team leave with both their well-being and my own family's in mind. I spoke with Lindsey and Owner Jill later in the day and told them it was not ok to leave a sick employee in a client's home. They stood by their decision to tell the team to finish the job so I canceled all of my future cleanings before we got off the phone. After this incident I see that they have a history of refusing to take responsibility when they have mismanaged a situation so I look forward to hiring a more professional company that doesn't disregard employee and client wellbeing.
