Communication throughout the entire process was clear and professional--they took the time to explain what was going on and what needed to be done. In addition to repairing the leak, they installed a Moen Flo system and an earthquake shut-off valve with great attention to detail. Everything was done carefully and thoroughly, which gave us real peace of mind. And James took the time to walk us through using the system after installation. Most importantly, both James and Tony were friendly, easy to work with, and priced the job very fairly. It's not always easy to find someone who combines quality work, strong communication, and great service--but they absolutely delivered. We'll definitely be using them again in the future.

Our first encounter with Andrew Moody of Family 1st Plumbing was the typical "my kitchen sink is…read morebacked up" emergency call. Andy came quickly and removed a clog that had been causing us problems since we bought the house several years ago. That sink is still flowing freely thanks to Andy. One day, our plumbing started to "whistle." When the irrigation system turned on after the whistling began, it ruptured the line causing a massive leak. Andy to the rescue! He came, assessed the situation, determined our pressure valve had failed, and set to work fixing the issue. His work is fast and high quality. The problem was solved within a day, and our plumbing is as quiet as ever. We needed a replacement water heater as ours was 17 years old and was showing signs that it may fail soon. We decided to replace it with a heat pump water heater as we have full solar generation, and the old water heater was heated by natural gas. Andy checked the types of heaters available before we settled on a product. Andy got the permit and we replaced the water heater with no further issues. It works great and we are using less energy to heat our water now due to the high efficiency of the heat pump water heater. In summary, Family 1st Plumbing and Andrew Moody solve your plumbing problems. They do so quickly, with high quality work, and at a reasonable price. We never call anyone else when we need plumbing work.

I had a serious situation with water damage at my home which necessitated removing bathroom walls, tub and shower. It was an ugly job that required hours and hours of really hard work. It turned out beautifully in a short period of time! Not only did I get a price that was more than fair (I got quotes from several other contractors), I was able to establish a working relationship with Robert that felt like real team work. I have not experienced this before, as I am a woman and in the past I have felt disregarded when it comes to construction projects. Not so with Robert! I felt respected, listened to, cared about and communicated with every step of the way. I felt so grateful for his consideration and his know how and also for his suggestions as to how to make the job more affordable. The sense of security his emotional sensitivity gave me, combined with his talents and know how made this the most satisfying construction job I've experienced yet. I would use him again anytime for anything! If you are looking for a person who will listen to you, demonstrate reliability, excellent communication and technical know-how, don't hesitate. He actually saved me money which I so appreciate! I was ready to do whatever to fix the problem and he quickly told me the only thing that was needed was a cartridge change and that anything beyond that would be purely cosmetic. All of that AND he accepts electronic payments. So so glad to have found Greg!
