I spoke too soon! Water once again came out of the air gap shortly after Arillio's last visit. He couldn't find the problem so I've had to wash my dishes by hand ever since. Hopefully I will find the funds in the near future to hire another company to fix the problem. We'll see. Just to be clear. Your reply does not mention the other "licensed plumbing company" you refer to was one hired by me to install a bedroom faucet. At the same time I called you about our continuing issue with the gap. You asked if you could come over when my other company arrived to get his opinion. I agreed because it was only his opinion without paying for a professional assessment which I couldn't afford. What more can I say about Aurelio.... He came and saved me during a plumbing emergency, and it wasn't the easiest or familiar of cases. We went through a couple of thing's he hasn't seen before, and he resolved them with flying colors. An incredibly hard worker, and determined to complete the job and leave things better than they were when he arrived. Aurelio just fixed my leaky bathtub and my clogged bathroom sink and I am so happy and so impressed! He was very professional and kind on the phone and in person. He put on protective covers on his shoes, which meant a lot to me because I have an infant and we leave our shoes at the door. He even re-caulked the molding around the bathtub where the leak was and fixed my over extended sink handle as well. Aurelio repaired a very difficult underground leak in our water main in front of our house, and he did it within hours of being contacted, by using time between jobs for excellent communications in advance, and then working very efficiently, knowing precisely what needed to be done. He was also able to charge a very reasonable cost by pinpointing the precise repair needed, with no attempt to upcharge or sell us on unnecessary upgrades, completely unlike what I have seen other larger companies try to do when we asked for quotes or services. In short, his integrity is as impressive as his skill and knowledge, which are both very great. He then concluded the repair with an immediate and highly detailed invoice that he completed and emailed to me within less than 3 minutes. I found this company on Angi's list. At the beginning it was promising. After a few phone calls with Aurelio appointment was made. He did not show up and did not call. At the end of the day I called him to reschedule. New appointment was scheduled, same thing happened again, and I gave up. Three days later I got voicemails from Aurelio, and text messages , and new dates were discussed. When I finally agreed to proceed with the job, he started adding new fees for transportation, and this, a that...something that was not originally planned. At that point I was DONE!!! I contacted this plumber through Angi. He has a bad attitude. He said he was available to come the next day, then when I asked what his hourly rate was, he told me there would be a $200 next-day fee, in addition to his hourly rate of $250/hr. Aurelio did an OUTSTANDING job on our water heater. My grandmother was worried about a leak in the water heater, so we called Aurelio for an estimate. Not only was his price unbeatable, but he was able to do the job same day! (Full disclosure my schedule didn't allow for it until the following day). It takes a lot to convince my grandmother to trust someone enough to work on our house in any way, but Aurelio was extremely professional and honest.
