Wonderful service, the spa pedicure was the cure to my achy preggo feet and the quality of the products were great, in my opinion. It has been a while since I have pampered myself as I tend to like the basic clean up. However, after this experience I think it is totally worth it and the mud mask that they use is soooooooooo good! My legs and feet feel great even over 2 hrs after the experience!

What a wonderful experience! From the second I walked in everyone was so kind. I got a pedicure and Gel X nails, I'm graduating in a week so my nails are important to me and I couldn't have asked for them to be done better!

Perfect customer service! Nice, personable, and they do a great job. Loving my new nails! And to top it off, they have a spinning wheel with various rewards, to include 10% off, 20% off, free basic manicure, and about 10 other options. We were fortunate enough to score on 10% off and a free manicure!

Unfortunately this is the worst manicure I've ever had. I went in for an afternoon mani/pedi. I don't get my nails done very often, so this was supposed to be a treat for me after a long work week. The environment was chaotic and uncomfortable, and I was treated with apathy and indifference. They had political news blaring loudly on a big-screen TV so I put in my headphones to listen to music, and the woman doing my nails seemed annoyed that I had my headphones in. My nails look absolutely terrible, and I spent $100 on this. I'm very disappointed at the result and I feel like I just wasted my money. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. Update: I added some pictures of what has happened to my gel manicure after just three days. There is chipping and severe discoloration of the polish. There is something wrong with this nail polish... I have never seen gel do this before. I have now asked for a refund twice, with no response from them-- even though the owner did message me to tell me that I was wrong about my experience.

I've come to the salon a few times and it's been great service, however, I made an appointment for today at 5 PM to get a fill done and to fix a broken nail. I had made the appointment on Thursday and confirmed with the woman I spoke to on the phone that 5 PM Friday would work fine, I showed up to the appointment at 4:50 and the store was closed and all the lights were off. I waited until 5:10 PM and no one ever showed up. I called the phone a few times and left a voicemail. It was very upsetting to have made an appointment and have no one show up, and not receive a phone call stating that my appointment had been canceled or that the store would be closed early. regular business hours according to the store sign and the recording on the store phone are 9 AM to 7 PM.

I've been here a few times for pedicures and finally decided to get a gel manicure here as well. The pedicures are... fine. Not great. Not terrible. But I would strongly encourage anyone needing a manicure to go elsewhere. The first time I got a gel manicure here it was bad - very sloppy with the polish, then to clean up the sloppiness she used a file (forcefully) around my nails. Painful. I decided I would not be returning here again. Well today unfortunately I was desperate because I was not able to get in anywhere else on Saturday, and this place is basically the only one open on Sundays. My last gel manicure was now chipped and I had no choice but to return here. Huge mistake. Incredibly sloppy - see the photos. The manicurist also cut my finger when trying to file away her sloppiness with the polish. I was still bleeding when I left the shop. I will NOT ever make the mistake of coming here again.

I've been here twice now and each time I've gotten the express pedicure and a dip manicure. The staff is super friendly, and my pedicures both times were great! However, my dip manis both times have been pretty bad. The nails themselves look alright, can definitely notice some errors up close but I can live with that. The main issue for me is they use the grinder on your cuticles. The first time I came here I was hoping it was just a one time thing, but it was the same again this time even with a new technician :( My nail beds are pretty raw from the grinder and it's quite painful. There was no lotion hand massage, no soaking or anything like that. I came home and soaked my hands in hydrogen peroxide to kill any bacteria and it burned like crazy on all the cuts. I wanted to love this place because they do a happy hour but I sadly will not be returning. See pics for swollen/raw nail beds. Pics were taken 1 day after manicure. $45 for dip mani, $30 for express pedicure.

She was super friendly and you could tell that it was important for her that I was happy with the finished product.

This was my first time getting my nails done in Ventura so I searched for a place on Yelp and came across Pro Nails. I am glad I did because I had a wonderful experience! Ann gave me my first experience with dip powder on my nails and I absolutely LOVE them, very simple, pretty and clean. And Terryl gave me a jelly pedi which was divine! I have been getting gel mania by Tara for several months. She is absolutely the BEST. I am very picky about my nails and she does an outstanding job. I have never had any problems with my gel mani since going to her. No chips or cracks. They would probably last longer than the 3-4 weeks I wait but my nails grow so fast. I just moved to Ventura and needed a new place and I was very happy with my full set done by Johnny.. The only thing I would've changed was not getting a manicure with the price of my full set.. I did get stones and I understand they are very technical but I would've liked for my cuticles to have been trimmed in the price of my full set. I come here whenever I get my nails done. The staff is so friendly and they do an incredible job every time. The woman recommended dip powder. This stuff is amazing. The color is already in the powder so it gives acrylic nails a natural look. It also doesn't have any of the harsh chemicals so it's a healthy route! My toes look so nice too! The woman who did them was super detail oriented. They are finally are looking presentable hah. I highly recommend this place! read more

What a great place. Quiet english speaking nice service, nice people all in all it is simply great. Kim you are the most amazing pedicurist. I have ingrow nails. And some other difects plus recent surgery. Kim did such a gentle excelent work. Always making sure my wound was not getting wet My gel manicure so perfect and well done. I called beforehand to see if my friends and I could come in for mani/pedis the lady on the phone was super nice. We got there and it was the complete opposite. The staff had never performed the green tea pedi we asked for (on there menu), the staff was incredibly rude to each other, and after 3 hours my toenail polish still was not dried and smeared all over. Would not recommend this place and will not go back. read more

I've always enjoyed going to Pro Nail salon with a group of women to celebrate a birthday or more recently with some of my family who were in town so we could all get pedicures. We were able to walk-in and all of us able to get excellent service the day before Thanksgiving. Cymba, a manicurist, even offered to French braid my hair for free. What an amazing experience with excellent customer service every time! read more

My first experience was a month ago and it was amazing. Brought my daughter in this time for a birthday treat and they all went above and beyond. Highly recommend this place to everyone. I made an appointment at this salon a couple of days before my wedding because of its high Yelp rating. Both my manicure and pedicure were very sloppy and rush, which was particularly disappointing because they knew I was getting my nails done for this special occasion. At the the end I asked them to correct 4 different issues which made it somewhat better, including a very noticeable bump in the middle of one nail, 2 nails where globs of gel top coat had dried on the side of the nail, polish not covering the whole nail (gaps of nail on the sides and before the cuticle) for most nails, and several others where polish was inconsistently painted on part of a nail's cuticle. They were way overbooked with people who all had appointments so the various people in our group started 30-45 minutes late and were rushed through. Would not recommend. read more

We went as a group of 4, made reservations ahead of time. We were greeted nicely & given a menu to choose from. The place is informal & clean. Huge selection of polish colors too. The place smells heavenly- lots of fruity scrubs & lotions. Definitely would recommend & return again. read more

They were great! Great experience my first time, though two of my nails broke within a couple days, I called and spoke to Johnny, and he had me come in and took his time to fix them all no charge, even though he isn't the one that initially did them incorrectly. I am incredibly disappointed in my set. I came to get a fill because my regular place didn't have any openings. The acrylic itself looks nice but the gel application was disastrous. It's thick, lumpy, and nowhere near worth $35. I wish I had just had them removed and not paid. read more

When I arrived I had a couple of coats of polish on my nails and they asked me to put my hands into a bowl of acetone and they'd be right back. I waited 20 minutes with my nails soaking in acetone before she came back. I was very concerned as I'd never been told to leave my real nails in acetone that long. I did as I was told and after 20 minutes she came back and painted my nails. The polish looked pretty but the very same day it started to peel off like the kind of polish children use. It all just peeled right off. I kept thinking it was because my nail bed had absorbed so much acetone that the polish literally wouldn't stick. The very next day half of the polish peeled off on its own. The lifting and peeling polish was getting stuck in my hair when I'd run my hands through my hair and just come right off. It's been a week and my nails are just getting worse each day. I am uploading photos to show the damage to my nails which was caused by soaking my nails in strong acetone for 20 minutes. I want them to know that I'm disappointed because I paid $25 plus tip for polish that wouldn't stay on my nails for even 1 day - due to my nail bed soaking up the acetone. Also; my entire nail is disintegrating on each finger due to the harsh acetone stripping my nails of keratin. See image please. I just want them to know, so it doesn't happen in the future to other customers. +1 Stars: for the beautiful paint job. -4 Stars: to damage & polish peeling off on first day. PLEASE DO NOT SOAK REAL NAILS IN THE ACETONE YOU USE FOR REMOVING POLISH FOR 20 MINUTES. My nails are very damaged.

After my appointment, the owner came running outside saying my payment had not gone through. However, my phone had already alerted me that the payment was successful. The owner could have gotten up and just checked the payment went through it would have taken a moment to verify the transaction before making assumptions. Instead, I was stopped getting into my car in front of other people and made to feel embarrassed and judged. It was humiliating. I understand that some customers may leave without paying, but we are repeat customers and frequently come here for my daughter's services. The way this situation was handled was completely unprofessional and could have been resolved privately and respectfully. I left feeling embarrassed and upset. What should have been a relaxing visit turned into a very uncomfortable experience.

When I arrived I had a couple of coats of polish on my nails and they asked me to put my hands into a bowl of acetone and they'd be right back. I waited 20 minutes with my nails soaking in acetone before she came back. I was very concerned as I'd never been told to leave my real nails in acetone that long. I did as I was told and after 20 minutes she came back and painted my nails. The polish looked pretty but the very same day it started to peel off like the kind of polish children use. It all just peeled right off. I kept thinking it was because my nail bed had absorbed so much acetone that the polish literally wouldn't stick. The very next day half of the polish peeled off on its own. The lifting and peeling polish was getting stuck in my hair when I'd run my hands through my hair and just come right off. It's been a week and my nails are just getting worse each day. I am uploading photos to show the damage to my nails which was caused by soaking my nails in strong acetone for 20 minutes. I want them to know that I'm disappointed because I paid $25 plus tip for polish that wouldn't stay on my nails for even 1 day - due to my nail bed soaking up the acetone. Also; my entire nail is disintegrating on each finger due to the harsh acetone stripping my nails of keratin. See image please. I just want them to know, so it doesn't happen in the future to other customers. +1 Stars: for the beautiful paint job. -4 Stars: to damage & polish peeling off on first day. PLEASE DO NOT SOAK REAL NAILS IN THE ACETONE YOU USE FOR REMOVING POLISH FOR 20 MINUTES. My nails are very damaged.

This salon is fantastic!!! Ann and her husband do great work and they don't try to get their customers to pay extra for flowers, pushing cuticles back, etc etc. myself, my mother, and my sister have been getting our nails done for years in Ventura County. There are several salons we have forever banned ourselves from ever going to again for various reasons including: the employees are obviously talking about you or other customers in their foreign language, which is so very obvious and unprofessional Lying to you about the wait, telling you it will only be a five minute wait when by all obvious appearances, it's at least a 20 to 30 minute wait!!! We can't stand liars!!! Or, how about the employee not even thanking you when you give a tip!! which we always do!!! At Pro Nails in Ventura, these types of issues NEVER OCCUR!!! Ann, her husband, and Ann's sister are Americanized, hip, totally aware of our cultural common sense and respectful behaviors ). They do a great job, their prices are reasonable, and they make you feel comfortable !!! What else could a customer want in a nail ,salon!! Usually, I try to stick to the basic colors when getting a gel manicure, but when I walked into Pro Nails, I was not expecting the amazing manicure I received! Tara is the Picasso of nail art, she brought me out of my comfort zone and got me hooked up with the coolest nail art! As a high school student, there are dances and other occasions that require show stopping nails, which means I will be coming back to have Tara hook me up with them! The service was great, I loved the atmosphere, and it was super clean. 10/10!! read more

Stopped by for an impromptu manicure and decided to go back to Acrylics. Kim was wonderful from start to finish. She was really friendly and seemed eager to help even on such short notice. My nails haven't been done in months and really needed some TLC. She carefully trimmed all my cuticle which was really over gown. I'm very particular about my acrylics when i have them and she was perfect. They look so natural I'm so happy. I will be back in three weeks to see her! read more

Tara is such an amazing nail artist. She does fantastic gel nails, that is her specialty, she is a perfectionist and very fast. I am so in love with my nails. My daughter got acrylics and Irish is absolutely amazing also. So if it is gels or acrylics these two wonderful ladies have you covered. I would recommend them to anyone. I highly recommend Tara at Pro Nails! Tara is an amazingly energetic kind heart. You can tell she is educated with many years of experience in nail care and was able to save my dying nails :). I never have difficulty making an appointment as they are very accomodating to my schedule. A wonderful place for your next manicure and/or pedicure. This was the first time I requested acrylic only on my big toes. It seemed like the technician might have been new. He didn't properly prep or cut the sides of the nail before starting. I asked for a tip, but instead acrylic was applied directly, and it went underneath my real nail. The application was very lumpy and uneven. I communicated that I wasn't happy with how it looked, and another technician took over. I explained what I didn't like, but instead of correcting the structure, she just applied more acrylic, making the nail thicker. My toe started to hurt, and she continued filing repeatedly. At that point, I asked if I could just pay for the portion of the service that had been completed because I wasn't satisfied with how it was being handled. She insisted she could fix it, but nothing was being corrected the way I requested. Color hadn't even been applied yet (she offered), but I didn't want polish over a base that wasn't properly done. My toe felt swollen, and I was still charged $35, which is the same price they charge for a full gel service. Considering the service wasn't completed properly and I left uncomfortable, I truly feel a refund would have been appropriate. I'm really disappointed because this is the first negative experience I've had here, but unfortunately, the service was not done correctly and left me uncomfortable. I won't be returning
