I came in about a week ago and got a manicure and pedicure done by the gentleman who works here. I was handling some stuff on my phone and by the time I looked down he had completely cut down my toenails to the point where they looked like nubs. I usually prefer square but he never asked. All he asked was if I wanted them cut shorter. I was super upset. Fast forward to my manicure, the same gentleman does it and the whole time he seems to be in a rush. Makes little to no conversation and is shaking his leg the whole time. Well he starts filing and cutting away and after what happened to my toes I wasn't about to have short nubby finger nails so I said "can I have square please". So he does it. But not at any point were my cuticles soaked in water or anything. It was a completely DRY manicure. I've never experienced this before unless I was getting a polish change. The color ended up looking nice and the shape was just okay so I didn't mention anything. Well a week later my right thumb had the gel completely separate from my nail on the end. Like it totally peeled back. So much so I could side my other thumb nail in between the gel and my nail. I went back in and tried explaining this to him and he quickly grabs my hand and takes polish to plug the hole. Then he puts on an extra top coat on every one of my nails. Seemed like a nice gesture and I appreciated it. So I go home that night and of course the nail polish patch he put came right off. Because as I said my nail was already separated from the gel. I go back in today and when I tell you the look of disgust this man had on his face. He 100% blamed it on me. "It wasn't like that yesterday". Well yes that's correct it wasn't...the whole tip now peeled off because you patched it. Anyway....I said "can you just sand the whole thing off and redo it. At this point I'll pay for it. I just want it fixed". So he takes the cuticle clippers (doesn't soak it off) and rips off the polish from my nail. As we're waiting for it to dry he asked what I do for work. Mind you yesterday he asked and I told him I wasn't currently working. Once we're done he said "your job is too rough on your hands so next time we can't do a regular gel manicure on you. You need to have this powder added to your manicure every time sorry". I haven't had a problem at any nail salon I've been to over the years until now. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and had to go to this nail salon 3 different times. I'm all for supporting local and small businesses but in the economy we're in right now every dollar counts. I spent $106 for this experience and honestly I won't be back. Also, posting your customers phone number online because you're angry that they felt YOU provided inadequate service is highly unprofessional. I rest my case. Take your business elsewhere. read more

We live just down the block and started seeing the signs about new ownership and thought we would try it one day. My wife needed to fix and fill her nails. According to online it said they were open until 6:30 but once we got their the door said 6 pm. When she walked in and asked they never actually answered the question just asked what she wanted. They did go ahead and get her in. The quality of the work was fine BUT the only time he spoke was to ask about this competitors. Where did you get your nails done, how many people work there, how much did they charge you, when did you get it done, were they busy ect. There was no conversation other than that. It made us feel incredibly uncomfortable. It's one thing to ask 1-2 question but it was like a interview. The nails were fine but due to the nature of the conversation we wouldn't go back. read more

Acrylic Nails didn't last very long about a week maybe a week and a half but the people were very nice.

I went to pro Nails a week and a half ago for a fill. The gentleman who did my nails was critical of the product that had been used on my nails (though it has worked awesome for the year & 1/2+ that I've gone to my other nail salon?!) and said his powder is much better. When he was filing my nails, he would often hit the skin and it hurt, but I can handle that to some degree. He filed both the underside of my nail and the powder on top so thin that within a week and a half, five of my nails have chipped or broken. I called and set up an appointment for him to look at my nails. When he did, he said it was because the powder used before was not good and that's the reason they chipped and broke and he wasn't willing to back his product and service and fix my nails. I paid almost $60 for a week and a half of nails! I have gone to my other place and had no problems for a year and a half. I just wanted to try something different to see if I could have a better experience somewhere else, and I am very disappointed that I did. Will not be going back or recommending them again. They need to back their product with better customer service. read more

Updating review. My first visit here when I got the pink and white full set the gentleman who did my nails did a really good job... the two times I've been back since to get fills. I've walked out with lumpy, unevenly smoothed nails, and almost like they didn't really care what they were doing; especially compared to how good of a job that first visit was done.. for that reason unfortunately I don't think that I will be back here; I will return to the place that I was originally going to, although it's in the next town over. If I'm gonna pay $50-$100 for my nails every couple weeks, I'd just like them to at least be consistent; smooth and look nice each time - not just on my first visit... what a bummer, I'd thought I found a great place only a couple minutes from home, too. read more

Do not get a shellac manicure here!!! I went on a Saturday to get a pedicure and a shellac manicure done in preparation for my vacation and by Sunday morning I already had a chip. I tried calling to get in - but they are closed on Sunday. Within two days I had large chips on FOUR DIFFERENT nails and hadn't BEEN doing anything rigorous or any cleaning. When I went in to get them reputed 3 out of the four he scraped off all the nail polish and then restarted. One the fourth one I showed him he said that chip was "too small to redo" so he put one dabble of paint on it and called it good - still noticeable. Then I got up said thank you and started walking out. He stopped me and told me that it would cost $8 for the repair - even though my nails were fresh and they chipped because the technician didn't seal them right on the tip. He said if I had come in the day after they would've done it for free. That's great- but I couldn't come in the day after because THEY WERE CLOSED!!! Yep- they still charged me!!! Do not go for shellac. Customer service is awful. However my pedicure is holding up - so if that's all you're doing they are fine. But if you want your nails done right and you want them to hold up for longer than 2 days don't go here. read more

The clear coat peels off and then the color chips, causing my nails to then break. I have never had this problem with a dip manicure until I started coming here. I would understand if it happened once, but three manicures in a row have looked bad quickly- disappointing. I like this salon, and the prices are a bit cheaper than other places, but when my manicure looks bad the next day it's not worth it and I unfortunately won't be going back. read more

I was so uncomfortable I paid for my services that came to a $180!! When I told the nailtec I was unhappy he said to come back in at 5pm. When I came back in at 5, he refused to give me my money back and called the police on me! The person that did my nails was an awful person I do not recommend this place I will not recommend this place and I will recommend that no one go to this place!
