I've been here twice and am writing this a few months later. The first time I came I got a gel manicure, and I was very impressed. I did have to pay a few extra dollars for a file, but that's fine. I'm from Washington, and didn't know in Oregon people are supposed to bring their own file. The gel stayed on for over a month, so I'm very happy with the results. The next time I came in, I got a pedicure. I wanted to get regular polish, but they kept trying to convince me to get gel so it stayed on longer. I gave in, but the gel honestly didn't stay very long, maybe a couple weeks. Usually I still have polish on my toes for around a month, but these came off relatively easy. It may have to do with being an athlete and running around a lot, but you'd still think that gel stays on longer than that. Other than that, this place is amazing. It's beautiful right when you walk in and they have lots of chairs in both the manicure and pedicure sections. They offered my mother and I beverages and were very attentive to what we asked for. read more

This place is so strange. There were two grown men sitting in the pedicure chairs on their phones the whole time. Another one came in and took a nap. Weird. Six options for pedicures - really? No offer of a drink. Sat there when the pedicure person abandoned me to do a mani for someone. Wax room was filled with boxes and weird. Lady over waxed my eyebrows and did not offer a mirror after. Hard to communicate with people. Don't know what is going on. Waited a long time after pedicure to get waxing. Finally had to get up and stand there until someone noticed because I was abandoned and forgotten. Toe nail filing is uneven. I did not see any of the instruments cleaned afterward. Who are those guys? Owners? Boyfriends? Weird. I will not go back. read more

I've given this salon several chances, hoping each time for a better experience -- unfortunately, this last visit was the final straw. I made an appointment to get a full set of acrylic nails for my graduation. I requested something simple: French tips with a flower accent on the ring finger. Off to a bad start -- I waited 25 minutes even after calling to make an appointment. When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly nail tech who prepped my nails. However, she repeatedly left me sitting there to answer phone calls, which dragged out the process significantly -- it took 35 minutes just to finish cutting my cuticles and prepping my nails, without even starting the acrylic or glue nail application. After the prep, I was handed off to another technician who applied the acrylics. She was very sweet, talented, and did a beautiful job on the design. But when it came time to pay, I was shocked: $90 for a basic French set with one flower. I questioned the price, and was told it broke down as: $55 for the acrylics, $10 for shaping, $15 for the French design, and $10 for the flowers (the small gold beads on the flower were apparently complimentary). If I'm already paying $55 for the set, why am I paying $10 for shaping?? Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've left feeling frustrated. Only one of other disappointing visits, a technician used one of the acrylic drills and accidentally drilled into my skin. She had to hold a cotton ball to stop the bleeding -- and I wasn't offered any discount or anything... I had hoped my experiences would improve over time, but after multiple visits and continued disappointments, I've decided it's time to find a new salon. read more

Emilee is wonderful. I just showed up for my appointment that I have had for three weeks and sit at the counter for quite a while and then was told that my person wasn't there. I asked if I maybe made a mistake and no one would even check the book for the appointment. I asked if I could talk with some manager and they said no one was there that was a manager, and I was just left standing there. Then I was accused of being not nice being mean and that they were just trying to be helpful. They told me to make another appointment or let someone else help me. I was not wanting to use another person and there was obviously no one to help me right then because no one would come to the counter to help me and other people were also waiting. I have to get a caregiver for my husband so I can make appointments and if my clinician needed to be out even with an emergency. It would've been very courteous to get a phone call. I tried to call just to confirm everything was good and no one answered the phone either. I guess they do good work for other people or they're very understaffed because no one was helping at the counter. read more

When you walk in it's gorgeous! My mom and I went for some fun summer nails. I gave the guy my inspiration pic and he said he could do it. As we went to do the gel colors he said "I'm gonna do it just a tiny bit different" I said that's fine as long as it's still gradient and rainbow colors. Tell me why the only colors he used were orange, red, yellow, lime green and purple!? They looked nothing like my pic. Idk what he was thinking. I'm a bit shy though so I felt awkward saying he was doing it all wrong and that I hated it. Just sucks :( read more

Walking into the salon you would think the product and technicians would be top notch. On the contrary, the absolute worse job I've ever had. The product is subpar as was my technician. Who does a dip nail and gel pedicure in 1 hour?! I am not unfamiliar with dip. My most recent set lasted beautifully for 5 weeks. But not this time. They chipped in two days, I went back for correction and all they did was apply a thicker coat. Which chipped anyways. So My nails are chipped, broken and ugly. I'll have to get a new set when I fly back to Dallas. My advice: do not patronize this salon. Unless you have $100 to waste. Zero stars - too bad I have to give them even 1 read more

They listen to what I want and are professional and don't push me to add on things I don't want. I had an awful experience when I went on Saturday, March 22nd. I had a pedicure service done, which was fine. The bad part was the manicure that I paid full price for and tipped for (I have a hard time with confrontation). The tech was fully aware that I was a nail biter by habit and that I also had engagement photos that night. Instead of soaking my fingers and using a tool to push my cuticles, she used an electric machine. Every single one of my fingers is scabbed because of the abrasive nature of the tool. My fingers hurt so bad. Every time I hit them on something they bleed. When I was noticeably upset, the tech said "you shouldn't bite your nails". I have not mentioned this before, but my tech never cleaned the blood off of my hands and used nail polish over the blood (contamination). I am super embarrassed and upset. Wonderful location! I was a walk in and they were able to take us right away. My mom and I were only doing pedicures. We liked the atmosphere, everyone was nice and welcoming. We noticed they also had a drink bar but sadly it was closed during our visit, it just means we will be back. The chairs were comfortable and had the back massage option. The packages for services seemed reasonable. We both ordered one that included a timed leg massage, it was worth it! I got there the same time as 3 other people. We all ordered deluxe pedicures. I was done at least 15 minutes before the others. The young girl that did mine put no effort into any of my pedicure, leaving calluses and not trimming the sides like I asked. She never came back to tell me I was done. Left tissue between my toes. When I went to check out, they had no idea what I was there for. Ran around trying to find the person that did my pedicure. And then tried to charge me for shellac or shellac removal which I stated in the beginning that it was not shellac. Find somewhere else to go. read more

Pointed it out and the employee just wiped them onto the floor for us to step over. Water already in basin was lukewarm and no jets. My friend and I went into get our nails done. She got a full set and the guy filed them crooked. She asked him to fix it and he had major attitude sis he had to take the file from him and fix it herself. I thought she just had a bad nail tech. I went in on Friday with some of my girl friends. Now, I will admit, I have been salon hopping for a while looking for the perfect nail tech. After Friday, I will never go anywhere else. I got Tom as my nail tech and I will never see anyone else. Not only are my nails beautiful, he made them the perfect length, thickness, and was so meticulous with ensuring they were perfect. Waste of money. My friend flew in so I treated myself to a dip and a gel pedicure. My friends technician took only an hour which surprised me and mine took forever. There is a major communication gap and the level of rudeness was over the top. They refused to honor the grand opening coupon (that had no date) and the product is subpar at best. My nails chipped after 1 week. I of course will not be going back and I advise my friends accordingly. the nail gal cut my fingers multiple times and just chose to fill the gaps of my fingers with the dip and then ripping them out after. she painted the bottoms of my fingers and smeared excess paint on the edges of my nails that were not the matching color. overall was an awful experience and when talking to management they shrugged it off and said my nails were too short when shes the one who chose to cut them that short as i came in with long nails. dont recommend unless you want to be sweating in pain. read more

I booked a 2:00 appointment for two people, which began 30 minutes late for one of us and 40 minutes late for the other. My nails were done in approx. 20 minutes and it shows. Always behind even when appointments are made. 5 minutes becomes 10, 15, 20. Today I was waiting with several others, some who weren't acknowledged until they had been in the lobby 10 minutes. I get it, it's the holidays, everyone is busy. But communication is key. After being told it would be 15 minutes, 20 passed. They advised it would be a bit longer and I asked how much longer, as I do have some other errands today. Just asking that question resulted in the woman who was going to do my nails being incredibly hostile, to which I conveyed I'm not having her do my nails. I don't know about you, but I'm not going to pay a person to use power tools on my hands when they are being openly rude to me. Would you? The last technician I had (with nearly 30% tip!) were great, the nails themselves are fine, but the behavior of the woman today is enough to keep me far from this business in the future. The place looks really nice, and I went when they were having a "soft opening" so they had a discount going on. It took them forever to take me. The owner or manager was very unfriendly. I showed them what I wanted and they didn't understood. And she kept messing up during the entire process, so I kept asking if she could change some things, but I was too embarrassed. I wanted some stones on my nails, and they didn't know which to use, and she starting putting full round stones, which looked really bulky. The glue is completely noticeable, I asked for stiletto nails, but they made claws instead of nails. The stones started to fall THE MOMENT I got up. I wanted to cry because it was almost my anniversary, and I got the feeling my boyfriend was going to propose (which he did). I'm not the type of person that likes to complain, but jeez, this made me really mad. They scheduled me for the next day to fix them because they knew they were bad. That night I scratched myself multiple times drawing blood; the nails, stones and flowers were getting stuck everywhere. I cried so much! And they wanted to charge me 90$!!! But I ended up paying 60 something because of the discount which is still a lot, but I didn't want to fight. Next day I went and they they did a better job. But I'm never going back. The last two times I have been in, they have been understaffed and rushed through my services. My most recent visit was Sunday 8/11, I had an appointment and was seen quickly. My pedicure lasted about 22mins according to my phone. The polish doesn't go very far down, so I'll need to have them repainted sooner than normal. My massage was more a a rub and pat. Then when I went up to pay, the lady who did my pedicure stood there as I paid and just stared at me while the gentleman help me. My visit prior, I needed a fill. I did not have an appointment this time and waited approximately 35mins to be seen. Once I was in the chair the gentleman that was helping me continue to get up and walk around to the other side of the room to chat with other staff members, he would then come back and tell me how short staffed they were and how stressed he was. My nails were cut very short and not filed evenly, when I tried to say something he would tell me " It looks ok to me". The polish wasn't fully removed from my previous visit, so you can see the pink gel on the side of my nails. By the end of my service I just wanted to leave. I hope they improve, I was really excited to have a new nail salon in town. read more

I was looking forward to a new nail salon in Newberg. I saw the Now Open sign and a 30% discount for all services. My daughter and I went in on a Friday afternoon without an appointment for a Mani/Pedi. We were asked to wait 15 or so minutes. While we waited, I looked around at the decor. It is nice space for nails and toes and it still has the newness. They were prompt in seating us in the chairs. The water was lukewarm and when I asked for it to be heated more, they put a little more hot water and stopped when they asked me if that was alright. I'd hoped they would continue to fill with hot water. It stayed lukewarm. I did not get color on either mani or pedi so I can't comment on that aspect of the service. My daughter had gel designs on her manicure. The lady did okay. I think she was distracted. I've been to a few nail salons and I don't mind a little chit chat among employees, but I have to say this was a little excessive. My gal talked at length with the employee doing my daughter's pedicure almost like we were not even there. When we were escorted to the manicure station, we had more cold water dip for the fingers. I was done a lot earlier than my daughter, but sat there watching the interactions. Another employee came over to the gal who was finishing with me and brought out her phone and all three people (the one on my daughter, my gal, and the other waiting for something or eating lunch) started laughing and talking amongst themselves while my daughter was having her manicure done. My daughter felt self conscious they were talking and laughing about her since we couldn't understand a word of their story. Other reviewers said there was a bar, but we were never offered drinks, not even water. read more
