I was in the area for a Dr appointment when I saw this nail salon. I went in to see if they did eye brow waxing. I only has 20 minutes before my Appointment. The owner stoped what she was doing and took me right back to her clean room. She did an amazing job, for me out in 4 minutes and only charged me $12.00. I went back after my appointment for a pedicure. Clean, lovely, comfortable and she offers me a beverage. Will absolutely make this my go to salon for all my beauty needs. This is a belated review but I was there at the end of September with my wife, son, and daughter. The place is warm and friendly but the cleanliness really stood out for me. The place was spotless. We came for a bonsai convention the night before so my feet were killing me. Salons are not my thing but I didn't protest since my feet needed it. I didn't get enough sleep the night before so I was a bit grumpy and quiet but the staff was very accommodating. The lady who worked on me was very friendly. She offered my son a soda and pointed him to an empty massage chair so he can sit there and play with this iPad since he opted out of the pedicure experience. I forgot what the prices were but I know they weren't expensive since my wife didn't complain. I remember getting the second pedicure package since it had callous treatment. The pedicure was great. I'm glad I got a person with strong hands since the pedicure includes a massage. It's too bad the entire procedure lasted only about 45 minutes. I was looking forward to sitting there for the next couple of hours. I highly recommend this salon for pedicures. I can't speak for the other stuff but the place is clean, friendly, and they gave us free drinks. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely make plans to stop by. My recommendations: 1. If you like a strong massage then you'll want to ask for a larger employee since a lot of them are really petite. 2. Use the bathroom before your pedicure starts. There's something about them scrubbing the bottom of your feet that makes you want to go. read more

My go-to nail place in West Linn! This salon has never failed to give me amazing service. The pedicures are always very relaxing, even when choosing the basic (or cheapest) pedicure option. I usually choose basic polish for my pedis and the color stays on for 2+ weeks without chipping. I also do shellac/acrylic manicures, and My (nail technician's name/possibly the owner of the store) ALWAYS delivers with amazing work. You always receive a triple coat with manis and I love that because other nail salons I've visited will stop at two coats and the color isn't always opaque. My sister and I love getting our nails done and have been to many places but this one is the best. They fit us in last minute and made sure we were comfortable. They were welcoming and kind. They also did an amazing job on our nails! I got a mani pedi and both turned out beautiful. My sister got acrylics and the artist was amazing. Went in today, I guess it's an extra $5 to get coffin shaped nails which they didn't say....never ever had an extra charge for nail shape.....still doesn't explain why quoted $28 and then charged $35. They at least will redo her nails but going to be weeks since her real nail ripped off far:-( Update....Went back to get my daughters nails redone. I decided to get mine done and my boyfriends daughters as well while we waited. The lady redoing my daughters nails was annoyed we didn't come in a few days later to get them fixed....ummmm her nail ripped off.... then she continued to keep telling my daughter over and over and over she needs to be more careful with her nails! Ummm they broke off because you made them so thin...not because of my daughter. We get our nails done all the time and never have them break off!!! Anyway her nails turned out pretty. I got a full set and my nails turned out ok, really wide at the tips :-( and even though I asked for an ombré (even had a pic)she ended up just doing glitter tipsfor an extra $7....my boyfriends daughters turned out nice. She got just a shellac manicure. She liked the man who did her nails and said he was nice. I guess when you get a full set of acrylics here they don't lotion or give you a hand massage at the end....darn it, that's my favorite part! The lady that did mine seemed super grumpy and annoyed to be working. Other then telling my daughter over and over to be careful with her nails the lady that did hers was nice. Two words: overcharged and mediocre. 3 pedi's and a full set of acrylics shouldn't add up to $186. They explained an added $30 for shellac on two of the pedi's. Mediocre service (short massages, water too hot, nipped skin on one of the pedi's). 15 minute wait despite an appointment. Seriously, there's a lot of other shops. read more

Dishonest and unethical. They were caught bait and switch. They use OPI but it's not really OPI, instead it is a cheap nail polish they put in their OPI bottle. So, when you pick your color, you're paying for what you think is one brand when it's actually a dollar store quality nail polish color. They do this to their polishes they actually sell. The girls that work in the salon are very unethical and will also frequently change the price if they think the client has a lot of money. So, for a service for a person they perceive as poor they may charge several dollar less. They are abusing both customer and the owner. I would suggest finding a different place to go. read more

Hmmm.... Second time was not a charm. A year ago my sister and I went to this Nail place. We were basically ignored when we were not being talked about it a foreign language. It was extremely difficult to understand when she tried to speak english. I had a Pedi and she cut the side of my toe and made it bleed. Actually made a hangnail and an ingrown. Relaxing: Not really. She tried selling the upgrade gel coat or shellac but I didn't want it and she continued to push until it felt like an arguement. So we decided maybe we caught them on a bad day. We went back because of the convenient location and this time for Mani/Pedis. When choosing our color we were told the other brand was as good as OPI. I stuck with OPI, my sister tried another brand with a color she liked. The new pedi chairs are state of the art and very superior to other salon pedi chairs. Nice UPGRADE! The owner offered us some chardonnay which was very nice for a sisters day out. I asked about the little white painted flower for my big toes and she agreed for the upgrade price but I requested she demonstrate what it looked like on her own nail and I'm really glad I did because it was a pock-a-dot daisy. I can do better than that myself & save the bucks. So the relax in the chair was the highlight. My pedi did not include any cuticle pushback and the polish did not go back to the skin so it looked grown out when we had not even left yet. My sister had the Mani and I'll let you read her review. My mani was very sawed back&forth and absolutely nothing special. The next day my big toenail paint chipped for no apparent reason. Then the manicure, I only requested clear, came off in a solid peel like the way glue or paint peels off. My sisters mani was similarly chipped the following day. It was supposed to be OPI and I"ve NEVER seen OPI do that. With the price the same as other salons, I would not recommend this salon unless you have an event that same night and can't get in anywhere else. read more

This is my favorite nail salon ever! Tried a few other places in town, and this one by far and away the best. I love their pedicures. They are very clean and sanitary in their practices, which is important to me because I was very skeptical after getting a nice case of nail fungus from a previous salon. The workers at Creative Nail do a great job. I am always a walk in, which is not ideal, but they are always nice about it. I rarely have to wait, and I have always been happy with my pedicure. She repeatedly filed them down and by the time I left, I had 0 length. The 2nd time I went, I picked out a color for shellac, then she told me to pick out another color, so I did. This place is definitely top of the line! When my office moved from West Linn to lake Oswego I tried a few places within walking distance from my office, but was disappointed each time. Felt rushed, acrylics started lifting after a week, shellac chipping, etc. So I went back to Mai and very happy I did. She's always able to fit me in with short notice. I went there and the nail lady burnt my nails, left a burn line on the nails, and they then turned yellow after 4 days. She kept speaking in Chinese and laughing while doing my nails not paying any attention to me, hence the reason they're burnt. I have some blood underneath them too. They basically ignored me when I first walked in and had terrible service yet, they had a lot of workers just sitting around. I would not recommend going there at all. I go to get my arms waxed and I call ahead of time to make sure they have time to do it, and not rush it. They said yes, so I go in and ask the lady to be very careful with my wrist cause I had surgery a month ago, and what does she do? She very roughly grabs it, and rushes through and tries to stop halfway through and get someone else to finish cause her next appointment showed up early. Mind you, I called ahead of time TO MAKE SURE SHE HAD TIME, and I had to say ow loudly 3 times for her to realize she was hurting my wrist. So I left, in pain, with a very crappily job done. So I am all for supporting our local business owners and this team always does a great job however I was SHOCKED when I went in the other day for a basic pedi which I picked off the menu ($35) which they handed to me but when I was ready to go I handed them my gift certificate ($50) my friend gave and they said thanks. Then informed me my pedi was $50 because I chose Shellac! I've never been charged an extra $15 to have this put on, nor did they even have to take it off as I had no polish on at all when I arrived.
