I want to start by saying Linda did an amazing job on my pedicure. She was sweet, smart, and my toes look incredible. Unfortunately my manicure is the worst manicure I have ever had done. I originally went in for a regular manicure but after they mentioned dip, I gave it a try. I have very low expectations for my nails. I dont really care how they look most of the time. However.. 4 of my fingers are bleeding, I have polish all over my fingers and the glue that holds the dip in stuck all over the place. I tired to explain I wasnt happy but was given excuses. I had to leave to pick up my child so my husband went in to try and remedy the situation and again was met with excuses. $55 plus tip for bleeding fingers and a globby mess is unacceptable. I hope that Linda goes somewhere else so she is not held to these standards. read more

Worst gel manicure I've ever had. They over booked appointments and were grossly understaffed. No hand massage, no lotion, no nail prep or filing, they just painted my base coat, color and top coat and charged for full gel manicure. Peeling within 2 days. My sister and I both had deluxe pedicures, and the massage alone was worth every penny, but the attention to detail with calluses, heels, and the color (we did shellac) was top-level. The pedicure was amazing, the acrylics themselves were amazing. However DON'T expect any kind of design. My friend and I went and were having a great time up until the new owners, Peter and Rose, got to the design part of our nails. We asked for sunflowers, I had a photo of exactly what I wanted, Rose couldn't figure it out for the life of her, and I gave up arguing about it and ended up with something very weird. My friend who was being helped by Peter, was argued with about what a sunflower is, and what she ended up with was closer to a butterfly than a flower. My first trip to Nails Unlimited was peaceful and fun!! We came here because one of my daughters told me, "It's the place to go!!" And go we went!! We are getting ready for spring break so my youngest is going to Hawaii, so they gave her a polish that doesn't scratch easily and won't pop off. I'm old and conservative so I went with the basics! But it felt and smelled great. We have a new salon! Thanks to the bosses in our family, THE CHILDREN!! They have great taste!! Fun family outing for me and the girls!!!! Really am upset by how many times I've left with bleeding cuticles. Now it seems there is a big push to improve tips by poor mouthing or complaining about their life, business, expenses etc., and not offering change that allows choice in tipping. I used to really like this place a lot but now they aren't as friendly plus they will charge you $5 extra for every little thing witch ads up fast! Came here a little over a year ago for a shellac manicure and the tech complained the whole time that the color I chose was difficult to paint (because of the sparkles) I offered to choose a different one and she said it was fine and continued painting and complaining 1. If you don't want to paint it, why offer it? 2. Shocker, the paint job was terrible Decided to give it another shot and what do you know? Every single nail is bumpy and bubbly, the tech completely ignored me when I told her what shape I wanted, there are little hairs embedded in two of my nails, and she made me bleed three times. I'm definitely a fan. Nails Unlimited has a good clean location and plenty of parking. They offer mani, pedi, waxing and eyebrow extensions possibly other services too. They definitely speak in their own native language between each other but it's really not uncomfortable. They all do a great job of engaging their clients first. Some of the ladies are a bit hard to understand but they really try to converse and make pleasantries. I've also never had an issue just walking in and getting a mani/pedi and wax. I would suggest making an appointment for larger groups to make sure they have enough people working. read more

Yikes. My shellac manicure lasted 4 days before it started chipping. I politely called and they told me to come in so they could see. The same guy was going to "fix it" even though I wanted someone else too. He then basically put a bandaid on it. The top coat he pretty much glued my nails down to my fingers. I don't plan on coming to this place ever again. I came here (instead of my normal salon I go to since they were packed) with my cousins to get acrylics for the first time. We scheduled an appointment, and the lady said it should be a short wait. We ended up waiting an hour when we showed up on time. My two cousins and I all got full sets which were $25 each, until the woman who did my nails would not stop pressuring us to pay an extra $20 each for shellac full sets. The woman doing my younger cousin and I's nails was extremely rushed, was on and off the phone scheduling appointments, and didn't care about her mistakes. My younger cousin made it very clear to the lady at the beginning she wanted coffin shaped nails. When the lady asked how short she wanted it, the lady said "you shouldn't get them that long if this is your first time," then cut them shorter. When she was shaping them my cousin mentioned again that she wanted coffin, and the woman said "no, they're too short." The woman did the same thing to me, I told her I wanted a certain shape and she told me I shouldn't get them very long and didn't shape them at all. She was EXTREMELY rough on my nails and even made me bleed from full on using the buffing tool for shaping and buffing the acrylic nails on my skin. She saw it and didn't say anything. The nails themselves are okay but the part the woman made me bleed at is very irritated 12 hours later and it may become infected. I'm extremely disappointed and irritated at this. read more

Today was my last visit. The nail tech who performed my pedicure was so aggressive, to the point where I was bleeding on both big toes. She knew I was uncomfortable but said she had to do it bc I'd get an ingrown if she didn't. I have never had any nail tech tell me otherwise or make me bleed to prevent an ingrown.
