I just came here for the first time and I had the new dip powder as opposed to the Gel/Shellac that I usually get as well as a Pedicure. 1. So happy I found this place. It's not close to my house but I really loved my service here. The girl did such a fantastic job I think I will come back here every month. The Dip powder is so awesome! I can see how applying it can be tricky but the technician was skilled and did a perfect job. When she was done she carefully filed my nails like as if they were acrylics and got them a beautiful shape and made sure they weren't too thick. Cost was $45 which is $20 additional for the Dip powder...TOTALLY WORTH IT. 2. The pedicure was great too. I have not been able to find an old school style pedi anywhere and I was so happy she hooked my feetsers up and made them really smooth and soft. Cost was $25 I will be back. My friend comes here and lives around the corner and we plan on making it a regular girls day for us. read more

I can not say enough positive things about this nail spa. I received a gift certificate for Christmas and because I am diabetic foot care is important to me. It is really easy to hurt me, so i am very cautious about who works on my feet, they Did NOT hurt me at all, and that means a lot to me Thankyou ladies, you made my experience lovely. I've been having my nails done here for a year and a half and won't go anywhere else. Wendy does a fantastic job on my dip nails, I'm very picky and I don't have to 'fix' them when I get home. ;-) They last a long time and don't lift or peel, and look fantastic. It's sweet how she remembers each person and greets you by name. Not many nail places have a friendly atmosphere, or treat you kindly, which is what sets Nail Spa apart in my opinion. I really enjoy pedicures here too, though I don't get them often. My last shellac pedi lasted till they grew out, almost three months, I polished over the top, it was great. They do waxing as well. The tech's are sweet to customers and each other which creates a relaxing atmosphere, the music isn't loud & there's no TV which is nice. There's lots of room between nail tables and pedi chairs and waiting/drying area, it's set up to feel comfortable unlike some where you're cramped or staring at those getting pedi's somewhat awkwardly. It's pretty busy-making appointments ahead is better than walk in. Street parking. If you use US Bank bring cash or you'll be asked to walk across the street to the bank ATM, they discourage debit. I was impressed by how hard these ladies work when I was the last customer one night, they work long hours away from their families and they stay sweet till the last appointment of the day. read more

RUN AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE! HORRIBLE EXPERINCE AND THEY OVERCHARGE FOR EVERYTHING. My mother and I were getting Mani & Pedi's before we headed off to Vegas and decided to come here because it was close to my mother's house. The pedicures we got were so mediocre and when I got my foot massage it was SO painful, the guy like dug his nails in my foot and I had to twitch to get him to STOP. The water they soaked my feet in was just a warm temp, not comforting at all. Then when he was done painting my toes, he insisted on putting my flip flops on RIGHT AFTER he was done. He messed up FOUR of the freshly painted toes and only touched them up and it wasn't even fixed. Next, the manicure. The NIGHTMARE of the whole experience. Lady was rushed because she had scheduled an appointment RIGHT after mine, to where the gal after me was waiting about 20 minutes before it was her turn. So my gal was rushed to get my French tip done. She CHARGED me an xtra $5 for a little more length onto my nails. I've gotten French tip acrylics numerous about of times and I have never been charged for the length that I requested by her, which wasn't much at all. Once it was all done, there was crap left all over my nails and the sides of my nails were not filed down. It looked like a sloppy job and I totally regret tipping them so large. (THEY MAKE YOU PAY BEFORE THE MANICURE. SO BRING CASH TO TIP AT THE END OF THE SESSION, LEARN BY MY MISTAKE) I would have tipped 4% once everything was said and done, and i'm a VERY generous tipper. We got the royal treatment when they allowed 5 of us to come in at one time for my birthday. Not only did the gals do a very nice job, but the leg and foot massage was fantastic! The gals were very nice about taking some group photos of us and letting us bring in our own beverages, which were in theme with the "Masquerade" party I was throwing. For $24, this was a great deal. If you forget to bring your own baggy of files and buffer, it's just a dollar charge extra. Every one of us walked out of there with fancy-schmancy little piggy's and were extremely happy about our visit. Lastly, the salon is incredibly clean, spacious and has a lot of stations for nails and feet. Perfect for mother-daughter says or birthday parties. Pre-plan and make a reservation though. I've been to this place 4 times now and every time I feel like I'm in heaven. They ladies (and token guy) are all very friendly and helpful. I've made appointments for all my visits, but they take walk-ins and I've seen these folks get tended to pretty quickly. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Decent prices ($25 for a French pedi, $12 eye brow wax, $11 mani- I don't do acrylics so didn't pay attention to those prices) Watch out for the "do you want a flower?" line unless you want to pay an extra $5 for a painted flower on your big toenail. Cute, but I can pass. This salon is very conveniently located next to The Cypress Martini Bar and restaurant and a wine bar. Great looking toes and a appletini on top! Okay, so I was frantic to try to fit in a pedicure before my weekend at the coast with the girls. But where to find a nail place out in my neck of the woods before 10 am on a Saturday? The hours at the Nail Spa are 10-7 Monday thru Saturday but I didn't know that until I stopped by at 6:45 on Friday night. I was hoping to get my pedi done before I headed to Lincoln City the next morning. They said they could fit me in that night. Unfortunately I was on my way to an event and just couldn't squeeze it in. So instead they said they would come in early on Saturday morning to accomodate me. Now, get this....I had only been to this place once before and that was like 7-8 months ago. I was really surprised to know they would come in early for me. I was even more surprised when they showed up the next morning a few minutes before I anticipated. I not only got my pedi done, they had time to do my eyebrows as well in the alloted time. I was impressed. Not the cheapest place I've ever been nor necessarily the best, but the fact that they made a point of accomodating my schedule really impressed me. read more

I'm used to affordable nail salons not exactly being a "spa" environment but this place is just downright dirty. Dirty and horribly cluttered. I understand not everyone's definition of "clean" is going to be the same, but my skin was crawling just sitting there. On top of that, one of the things I look forward to the most when getting a manicure, the massage, just didn't even happen. The technician just smiled, muttered a thank you and walked off, whereupon the man who initially greeted me sat down and finished my shellac with the usual cotton ball and alcohol thing. While this was going on I found myself actually hoping that he wasn't going to do the massage, as his hands were cut up and really dirty. Yes I missed my massage but I wouldn't have wanted one from him with those hands, ugh. For the final nail in the coffin, the prices were higher than what was stated on the website. I see some of these reviews and I'm honestly shocked. I've been going to the Nail Spa in Oregon City for 8 years now. I usually go to the same person (Wendy), but when she is not available I do get someone that is just as equally good at what they do. I don't feel they are any more expensive than the next place and I at least feel like I get my moneys worth every visit.. Whenever I go somewhere else a friend drags me along to, I regret it; I always feel cheated. It costs me the same, but I don't get the same quality for my manicures and no one comes close to their pedicures. I've taken my entire wedding party here and was able to bring in champagne and wine; even when it's just me and a girlfriend and we are doing some pamper time we bring in a bottle from time to time. This is the best place and if they moved or I moved and it was no longer convenient for me to go here, I would still travel the distance for the Nail Spa's wonderful service! read more

They took me right away (without) an appointment. They have a large display of colors to choose from. The place is VERY clean and everyone is extremely nice and helpful. We waited until 4:30 PM when two more people walked in the nail spa and began to wash their hands to be seen. We continued to wait 15 more minutes with no word how much longer it would be at which point we realized the people who walked in at 4:30 were seated. My friend and I came in for 2 pedicures at around 5:45 (my first time here, she's been before). I want to start out saying the 2 star review is not for the pedicure itself. The techs did a wonderful job and were fantastic. The problem came when it came time to pay. First, the woman (not our techs) told us they closed the credit card machine down for the night. It would've been nice for them to have let us know they were closing them and had us pay before since I only had a credit card on me. Luckily my friend had a debit card and pulled out cash for both of us so I could pay her back. Minor annoyance, but not a big deal. They then told us it was $36 each for our pedicure. This was confusing because when they asked what service we wanted at the beginning of our pedicures, my friend said Hot Stone (which is what she always gets) and I asked to see a menu so I could see the pricing. Since the hot stone was only $29 I said I would also get the hot stone. I explained to the woman asking us to pay that the service was $29 and she said that we got the deluxe. Well that was definitely not what we asked for and of course both of the techs (one which spoke English very well) were no where to be found and were now gone for the night. They didn't apologize and said it must be a miscommunication. (How hot stone sounds like deluxe baffles me). They also insisted my friend and I both got nail kits when I got one and my friend didn't. My friend showed them her kit from home so they agreed to take that off her bill. It was very apparent they weren't going to budge on the price even though it was their mistake. The woman insisted that we had received the deluxe service and we should've said something when we were getting services we didn't pay for. Well I've never been there so I wouldn't know and my friend said it was the same service she has always gotten when she requested hot stone. My suspicion is that they are scamming us and are pocketing the extra money from the 'upgraded' service. Regardless, we paid the full bill and left. It was a wonderful experience prior to this and if not for the "miscommunication" I wouldn't hesitate to come back. My advice for future patrons is to make sure there is no misunderstanding in what service you are asking for. read more

This place is pretty much exactly three stars. The staff were kind of stand offish, and I had my 9 year old sister with me and they didn't really know how to interact with her and seemed impatient. The pedicure themselves weren't bad, but thats about all they had going for them. I received a gift certificate from a friend. I typically go to another salon. I called to book an appointment. I ended up talking to a customer because there was a language barrier. I booked nails and pedicure. When I arrived for my appointment, they said they didn't have time because I booked a manicure and no pedicure. I said I had gel nails. To "prove" I didn't have gel nails, the lead lady whipped out her clippers and took a chunk out of my index finger nail. She then grabbed my finger again and took another whack. She was not gentle and it hurt like hell. I said, " I hope you're planning to repair that." They very reluctantly agreed to fill my nails, even though I was only booked for a manicure. The nail tech was nice but kept reminding me that I didn't say "fill" and didn't ask for a pedicure. It was embarrassing. She continued to tell me i was wrong. They chatted constantly in Vietnamese. I assume it was about me. I had a $100 gift certificate. This fill somehow magically added up to $74. They deducted it from the gift certificate and had the nerve to add in a tip. The worst part was I had to come back to use the balance of the gift certificate. I would not recommend this salon. read more

WORST TOTALLY OVERPRICED NAIL SALON OF ANY PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN IN MY LIFE!!!! I get dipped powder nails. I travel a lot and get my nails done in many places. This is by far the most I've ever paid. It's always $40-45 ($50 if you get designs or jewels) and she (The owner) charged $60 for a regular dip powder polish. On top of the outrageous overcharge the service was awful. She left me sitting for 10 minutes while she disappeared in the back. She was extremely rough, flicking my fingers too hard to shake off powder, over drilled burning heat and nicked me all over. I also watched her as the owner be rude and ignore everyone who walked into her salon. She obviously relies on her great location to lure in victims. It's also completely dirty and nasty inside. Dated and stuff everywhere-no pretty or relaxing atmosphere. Save your nails and your money and take a pass on this wretched salon. read more

Beautiful toe art! I arrived 1 minute before my Pedi appt time and was asked to grab my color and was seated straight away. The pedi chairs have a wonderful flex massage that are pretty new and felt great. The foot bath wasnt as hot as I liked so I mentioned it. OH! The reason she explained is because it is so hot outside people have been requesting cool water for feet. I still like HOT water and presto! hot water added. NICE!! Toes were clipped and filed and special care taken with the one toe nail I had broken. All looked straight and I loved the leg and foot rub with the mango oil followed by hot towels wrap. For $5 more Trish was able to take a look at a design I found on-line and made an amazing flower design with little silver jewel looking dots just like I wanted. During the time I was there the phone was ringing and being answered. I never felt rushed in any way and the pedi was a great spot in my day. Parking is meter street parking only so give yourself time to find a spot and pay to park. Choice of nail polish was a whole wall selection and polish was in new and good condition. I paid with credit card and was happy to add gratuity for a wonderful professional job. read more

I've gotten two mani/pedis here, each a year apart. The first year was great, they accommodated me and my friend as walk-ins fairly easily and my mani/pedi was great and only cost I think $40. This year, the services cost $71.50, and my manicure already has a big chunk of polish that came off after less than a week. I really like the people and the service but am really disappointed in the result. I took a picture and will follow up with the store, in case I can get a partial refund. These two mani/pedis are the first I've ever gotten, one year apart, so this is a big splurge for me (way bigger than I anticipated, given the price hike). I went to get my hair and nails done on Main st. this morning. Parked in the little lot behind Nail Spa. Parked in the slot for customers of the nail salon, as I would be going there after my hair appt. It is clearly marked for customers. Came out after getting a great cut, saw a mini van parked directly behind me. Oh well, I was going to the nail salon so I figured it would be gone by the time I was done. Had a good experience at the salon, paid and left with pretty nails. And found my car still blocked! Over an hour later. So go into the bar first, they say no, not them. Went to the salon, yup, them. I asked and was told that I was parked in the wrong spot. It is a spot for customers. I said I was just in there. Was told that since I went to the hair salon first, I should have told the nail salon what I was doing. Besides, it is an employee spot, tho not marked that way because the landlord screwed up. I repeatedly asked her to move. She said no. She was busy. I admit, I was heated at this point, so asked if I needed to get code enforcement involved or have her towed. Was told as it is a private lot, CE wouldn't do anything, go ahead and have me towed. I walked out. Had to track down the CE guy, who said yes, she's correct. But that I could talk to her landlord, Ryan, who is usually at the Verdict, as he owns that as well. Unfortunately he is out of town. Went to that bar and then finally called non emergency, which is so freaking stupid, it pissed me off more. As I was on the phone with them, she finally moves her car, to a Modele customer parking spot! I will never go back to Nail Spa, since they treat their customers that way. Penalize me, because you have an issue with your landlords mistake? No. While I had a great experience with the gentleman who did my nails, I did not with that lady. read more

The guy that did my pedicure did a good job, although when 2 ladies popped in for a pedi a lady worker made him leave me to go start their pedi's and she quickly slapped on my polish. I mean QUICKLY!! I could have done a better job myself. As she grabbed my sandals to put them on she forcefully pulled my strap over my heel and made a disgusted look as if she heart her finger doing this. All while not saying a word to me. went there on mothers day, so expected it to be busy for sure. I've driven by here several times, and i decided to try it cause it looked nice. I walked in and the male owner looked at me and looked down at the desk. didn't say hi, didn't acknowledge me for at least a minute, he knew i was there. then he finally did and said go pick a color. (of course) I got sat at the chair closest to the window, the chair sucks it just vibrates and has one of those portable seat massagers that you can buy anywhere. The lady who did my pedi was ok but didn't talk much which is fine cause i really just like to relax. I didn't get any exfoliation to my legs or a mask.. which maybe that comes in the upgraded but i wouldn't know cause no one told me the difference. Then i decided to get a mani, with shellac (gel polish). the owner gave me the mani, she was very nice however i was really upset that they never told me until i started moving up my sleeves that i wasn't getting a massage with my mani. Why? because of the polish (shellac) they can't do a massage cause of the oils from the lotion.. i'll tell you this, i have gotten shellac at another salon and they massaged me, and the polish actually stayed longer than than this trip to this salon. Not to mention you pay MORE for gel polish due to the process. also Shellac polish is suppose to stay 2 weeks, and 3 days into this mani 2 of my nails were ruined. the massage is usually what i enjoy the most so i just can't believe they would take that away, alcohol or acetone would take off the oils to the nail bed if they really wanted it to. they obviously just chose the other route. One other thing too, i'm concerned with the sanitary standards, my big toe has been sore since i went there, i'm hoping it's not infected. Needless to say... i'm not going back and even though the owner was nice and seemed to know everyone that walked in the door by name, it wasn't worth the money to me. I've been to way better places for the same price. I really don't ever say bad things, however i think that this salon needs to know what they need to improve on if they want to get more clients.
