Absolutely the worst experience! Nails cut way too short causing painful toes walking out. Had an appointment but were cast to the side for the regulars who just walked in...no appointment. Visited almost 4 weeks ago and my nails are still ruined. I made a suggestion while getting my nails done to file them so they'd look less chunky/wide and the filing that was done cut me so deeply on all ten fingers that my natural nails grew ingrown into my skin. I am still dealing with troubles of anything touching the sides of my nails too hard, as my natural nails now grow to dig into my skin and I was charged $65 for a fill. I said no to dip if it was $10 more and the lady did it anyway, and with the ATM in $20's I was obligated to tip. When I pulled into the salon she was outside eating a corn on the cob and I should've known to drive away right then, I never saw her wash her hands after eating and it makes sense that my nail beds/cuticles became infected and peeled. WORST NAIL JOB EVER! I came into this place Saturday morning for a pink and white fill. The place was pretty busy so there was a 20 minute wait. I would suggest making an appointment first (if you dare go after my experience). Now to my horrific nail job...Not sure on the name of the gentleman who helped me, but he's an older with a gold chain. I'm just going to flat out say it, he has absolutely NO IDEA what he is doing!!! He was globbing on the solar powder, not shaping the nails correctly and filed them down to basically nothing. NOTHING. He took away my nails and now it looks like I have none! After the solar powder had been applied I looked at my nail beds in horror!! That was my breaking point. You could see bubbles, lumps and old acrylic that wasn't filed down and filled in right. It was so god-aweful. I kept speaking up and telling him it didn't look right and he was going back and forth, trying to convince me it was supposed to look like that.. what??? I told him never in my life did I have a fill that looked so bad. After going back and forth for 5 minutes, I just told him to forget the white tip and do a complete polish to cover the flaws beneath the new powder. He said "ok, yeah, cover with polish look better". I thought maybe he was drunk or high...how can this guy actually be doing nails? So in the end, I don't get a white tip fill because this guy messed up royally. Im the customer having to settle on something else because he doesn't know what he's doing. SMH... I wasn't about to make a scene but I couldn't not believe what was happening. My nails look like total crap and I was billed $55 for the whole experience!!! I give him $60 and he asks if I want my change. Total f**king joke!! Seriously??! I'm warning everyone to stear clear of that guy...I know I can't speak for the nail salon as a whole, but I would strongly urge the owner to NOT ignore complaints. find out what's going on with this guy and his knowledge of doing nails. Very laid back and not all the noise you find at other places. They were also very respectful. Other salons made me feel like they didn't really care if they had my business or not. I always ask for Chin or John when I book my appointments and the service and nail quality is always wonderful ! Chin is quick and John is a perfectionist, I'm always happy with my full sets the pedicures as well are full quality and even have the wax and hot stones (my favorite part)! Right now because of Covid you always pick out a gel polish so I'm only having to visit every 3-4 weeks now love this place and would definitely recommend trying it out, I've brought plenty of friends and they've always left satisfied as well read more

Pretty Nails is the best spot for pedi's in Oregon City. They recently moved into a new space, in the same shopping vicinity, and it's very nice. Huge upgrade - looks like a spa. Lots of chairs. Great selection of nail polish. Bright and inviting. They've done an amazing job creating a space for pampering and self-care. Kim and Chinh are very friendly and personable. I would never recommend this place at all my nails look horrible she did my nails chin I am so upset this nails look so horrible I went to another nail shop and they showed them and they said you need to get your money back because they look so horrible they look like if a child did my nails to be honest I would never have anybody go there I went there the same time because I called her and told her that she needed to fix my nails because she didn't put enough of the acrylic and they look so crooked they look horrible when I told her she said honey I don't know what to do anymore I want my money back they look terrible I am so upset that I got in my car and I started crying I would never recommend anyone there and I think people that go there they need to get their money back because it's terrible I pay them 62 dollars plus I gave her a tip that's bullshit !!I want my money back!! I don't even know where to begin here- I decided to give this place a try despite the fact last time I tried to come they were rude. I should have stayed away. Ugh. The older gentleman who did my full set and pedicure was extremely nice BUT EXTREMELY UNTRAINED. Oh my gosh. My set of nails is appalling. Seriously embarrassed. My cuticles are bleeding. The entire nail is connected to my skin. My pedicure took 20 minutes- he literally dabbed the polish on- no clean edges or even polish. They are all different lengths. My mom and I decided to go and get a new set put on, because, well, gotta pamper now that Covid restrictions are loosening. I walked in apprehensive, my nails were nubs due to biting and I had a severe injury on my thumb that had me sensitive. Chinh was my tech and she gave me some great recommendations immediately. I've been here three now. First I saw Brandon and second visit I saw the owner, Chinh (chin). Both experiences were superb. Great atmosphere for such a little place. It was very beautiful and inviting both with the decor and customer service. I went to the same place for 6 years and it became my families go to as well. Since I moved however, it's now too long of a drive. I've tried FIVE other places that ended up being horrible. Pretty Nails is now our families go to! Based on the good-great Yelp reviews we were really looking forward to trying out a new place. I am quite disappointed to report how disappointed we were as I had high hopes. My girlfriend had a very nice gal and I a very nice gentleman. However the quality of our pedicures was not too great. Cut our toe nails but barely filed them so we had to do so once we got home. My girlfriend ended up with a better polish job than I did. I will need to go elsewhere for a polish change. I also thought it was odd (still an hour plus from closing time) I was asked to get up while still drying and use their ATM so I could pay them. A bit bizarre. At any rate, we won't be returning.
