Horrible Horrible Horrible work. Terrible customer service. I had just moved to the area and this was the closest salon one to me so I went for a pedicure and get my nails painted(i let this be known once I walked in). First of all, the establishment was very unkept and unclean. The pedicure was mediocre, but she painted my toes down to cuticles so that was a plus. I sit down to get my nails painted and she brings over a bowl of water and then leaves. She comes back I told her again that I just wanted my nails painted. She acknowledged my request and takes the bowl away. She then proceeds to clip my cuticles. Anyone who has gotten a manicure before knows that this is part of that process. While she's painting my nails I had to keep asking her if she could get the sides of my nails and/or paint closer to my cuticles. It was an in going thing of me politely asking her this. It's time to pay and my bill reflects a manicure that I did not ask for!! I absolutely hated my nails snd tired of sitting there. My niece could've done a better job. There was also a lady being helped by a different ail tech that expressed that she did not like her nails either. read more

Pro Nails & Spa - Very clean and not crowded for a Saturday morning. I'm heard great reviews about this place. - Nail Salons Near Me - Hampton, Virginia

Very clean and vibrant place. Love the colors, design, and decor. I was going to a different nail salon in Hampton, but after two visits within three weeks & of the gel polish chipping off within a week each time (gel polish lasts 2-3 weeks and is $30) I realized I needed to find a new regular place. I checked out the reviews for this place and I am so happy that I did! My eyebrows are done just perfect, not too thick and not too thin. I also got my nails and toes done and the process was very clean and relaxing. Something I noticed were the instruments that are being used specifically on you were kept in the sterilization bag until ready to be used on you. Very proper and clean process. Love this place and the people are so friendly. I will be a regular on a monthly basis & I found my new salon home! read more

My husband and I went for a pedicure. Mine was fine. My husband is legally blind and cannot see. It was a very fast service. The lady took the greater and brushed it over his feet a timer to, and proceeded to move on at which time I said oh no, he needs a little bit more work that did not sit very well with her. She was very lazy. Did not seem interested in doing the job was going through the motions. I could tell it was not a good job just from sitting there there was no debris anywhere from anything. Then she proceeded to start talking about me and my husband because she was upset when I said that greeter is clean it has nothing on their my worker said something to her and she shut up all in all no it was not a good experience. No it was not a good job not even a half job you see what they didn't know was I am a teacher, cosmetology and nails and I do know I have worked for over 40 years, so I'm very well-versed in what to do and how to do it and yes, I could've done it and save myself some money. I just cannot tell you how upset I was and unhappy. I have always received a fairly decent service there but this time we went to the very bottom of the pot. Thank you for listening. Hope you have a better service. read more

What a wonderful salon! I went for my first manicure ever only a few days prior to visiting here. The place I had gone to did a horrible job of it and I came here to be rescued from my peely gel polish. And, wow, did they ever do a good job of it! Great communication, they were very patient with me not knowing the terms and routines of nail salons that well. The young man taking care of me had amazing attention to detail, made sure the polish was fully removed and he skillfully painted the most beautiful French tips. They have a rewards card to give you a discount after 6 visits, as well. I'm certainly going to come back here for any future salon trips, and I'm bringing all the girlfriends with me. read more

I've gone to pro nails for the past few months and I honestly don't know why I keep coming back. I've only had one or two good experiences out of around 10 visits. The techs never give me the look or shape I want, even when I show them pictures. The last time I went, i got the dip powder- 2 nails cracked the first day and the rest cracked within the first week. This is super frustrating when i pay 40$ for a set. I went back today and I asked for the picture with the red sweater and the service I received was not what I wanted at all. They look very chunky, not blended and fat on my fingers. I asked him to file them down a little more and he charged me extra for "shaping". I paid 55$ for nails that I hate, I will not be back. read more

Eh..they're flexible but in the beginning they weren't the best. They state & up meaning if you have specifics they'll cost you and charge you. The work was sloppy and though they're easy to talk to i feel that's how they distract you. I got an Acrylic set with regular polish and if i have chosen gel that'd be another $10 to get a coffin shape would be another $5. I left the store unsatisfied with the work but happy with the color. The only thing i'd praise them on is the color variety and their kindness. If few had been working for 30 years i'd like to ask why mine were horrid. They care about the money and not the customer. read more

Let me start by saying that I've been a fair regular here for the last 2 yrs. Kim does my nails great but she has a problem where she books appointments and even if you're there on time, you still have to wait to be seen. The point of an appointment is to be seen at the time you indicate. If you're late by whatever grace period, I get it. I've been sitting here for 23 minutes now-my appointment was 22 minutes ago. I have a newborn and things to do, don't think it's fair to be kept waiting. This is not the first time it happens either. It makes me feel that they're really just concerned with making as much money as they can as opposed to giving great customer service. UPDATE- I am updating my review because the owner took the time to respond and I gave them another chance. I have now came back about 10 times for gel pedicures and each time the owner has been super nice and the two employees that have taken care of me have done great on my toes. I haven't gotten my nails done again but it's by choice to deal with my baby without scratching her. read more

Came around 6:00pm and they were not busy. One one customer getting her fingernails done and I was getting a pedicure. While getting my pedicure another lady came in to get a pedicure and I guess her nails done. There were three employees working, because one left/got off. I asked for a design on my big toe, and was told I would have to wait awhile! There was only one lady that could do designs and she was doing one lady's fingernails and then the other lady's too(who walked in after me!!!) WTH! Why would I have to wait for the other lady to get her pedicure finished and then her nails done?!?! Especially since I came in before her! I should be next and then she could have her mani done after me! Not sure that I'll be returning here! I don't feel that that was right. And not completely satisfied with the pedicure the man gave me either!! And the flies wouldn't stop landing on my arm the whole time I was there! They probably should keep the front door closed! read more

I came here on a whim.. I needed a quick manicure on my lunch break and didn't want to go to the normal place I usually go, since their prices are high, but quality isn't that great. It's pretty easy to get too, right off of the interstate on Big Bethel. It's a nice small shop. Kim helped me and did an awesome job. I got a gel manicure, which is $28.00. However, I picked a magnetic nail polish, so it was an additional $10. I was not mad at that at all. Kim did a great job grooming my nails. I'm really tough on my hands. I work at an office, I work out and I do tons of dishes and house work at home that absolutely kill my cuticles and nails. She did a great job trimming my cuticles and all that other grooming stuff. I wish I would have taken a before and after shot. Because my hands were trash. And also after the polish, she gave me an awesome massage that had me ready to tackle my paperwork when I got back to the job. She didn't skimp on the oil.. which is great. Some nail shops I go to, they use a really thin lotion or a thin oil and halfway through, your hand massage turns into an Indian burn rub down. Yay for good oil! When it came to polish, she again did a great job. Many times when I've gone to the nail shop, they will do 2 coats max.. and don't achieve the correct color and opacity that you want out of your polish. She did not cut corners. She did 4 or 5 coats of the color and I am super satisfied with the outcome. Beautiful polish. I can't complain. I've found my new nail spot. Cheaper prices and much better quality. Plus my tech was super friendly and conversational, which is always good. read more

Went to the salon for the first time a little over two weeks ago. Was very pleased with the way my nails looked and the attention that was taken in doing my nails. Went back today for a refill and was very disappointed at the technician that did my nails. He did not pay the attention to detail in doing my nails and my nails looked terrible. Tried to say something but no one was listening. Do not know if I will go back. If I do I will not allow the gentleman to do my nails. read more

I have been getting gel/shellac since it has even been a thing, and a few years ago I bought the stuff on amazon and watched a few YouTube videos and eventually I became pretty good at painting my own nails, and I find it relaxing-but I still get my nails professionally done a few times a year randomly - usually in a hurry, and usually because I screwed something up trying to DIY my nails. And of course since I spend time doing my own nails very regularly I'm pretty particular. So I'm kind of the worst, and I have visited this salon three completely random times with whoever was available and everytime I have really been impressed. ,This past time she almost used a higher grit nail file than I was comfortable with and within seconds of me asking she pulled out the most gentle nail file. All three times my gel has been super thin (but still opaque) and neat. read more

Tina has an absolutely HORRIBLE attitude! Her sister began my soak off and started on a pedicure. So to speed along service Tina took over. However, as she went to file off the acrylic she was VERY rough. The second nail hurt and I let it slide, but when she began the 3rd nail again she filed too close with the electric drill on my natural nail. I told her it hurt and she got an attitude and stormed off. She came back about 10 minutes later. I told her thank you but no thank you id rather wait on your sister and she got upset. When moving me back to her sisters station she threw the paper towel at my hand which was completely unnecessary! I told her she was very rude and if she threw anything else at me or in my direction we would have an issue! The sister was very kind i wish I had asked her name but I would NOT recommend Tina the 1st station on the right upon entrance. read more

Deserves a negative 20 for customer service. Stood there at the door being totally ignored. RUDE!!! No thank you.

I get my nails done often and haven't found a very good nail salon until I came here! My nails look so good and they even rounded the sharp corners so I won't poke my 2 month old son. They listen and hear what you have to say and are so sweet, I came in for just my nails but decided on a pedicure while I was there and I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep the massage was amazing and my feet look better than ever and are so soft now! I like my appointments to start on time, granted they were busy... but my actual apartment started 20 minutes after I came in, luckily I was with friends and didn't mind. The service was okay, my nails look fabulous and my feet feel so soft! but my massages felt a little rushed, I think more people were coming in. Ps. I can't seem to find a decent nail salon that does good with natural gel nail that last more then a few days.

I've been to many nail salons across the water (Norfolk, Suffolk & VB) go find somewhere I can still regularly go to in case my first choice was crowded. It never dawned on me to try a nail salon where I actually live due to me working across the water. Anyways, I found Pro Nails & Spa on Yelp, thought I'll try them out due to their reviews. I went later on the day yesterday (Wednesday) & it was a few people in result of me having to wait but no big deal. I notice they did have an incentive where they have their customer sign in to gain points every time they visit. The nail tech I had did my nails very well & I was satisfied which will result in me visiting again. The price wasn't what I expect by looking at the price menu prior but I guess the length added more cost but the outcome is just what I wanted. read more

This was my first time going to Pro Nails. They are not very friendly. They did didn't by try to have a conversation with youI had to ask the woman doing my nails her name other than that she didn't say much. She did a good job other than to cut me with the drill. I don't understand how everytime I try to give this place a chance, they always get something wrong. I got my eyelashes done along with a full set and pedicure which cost me over $100 and the very NEXT day, my eyelashes began falling out in clumps. (Got them done for a wedding) I got a full set done 2 weeks ago, and literally one of my nail came off yesterday. 4 of the acrylic nails are lifting off my nails. Today I spoke to the owner and showed her my nails, she said that that's normal and it's time for me to get my nails filled in. The only thing she was willing to do is not charge for replacing my nail if I got fill ins today. I just walked out. read more

I found this place on yelp, and its by far my favorite nail spot EVER. I've been going here for over a year now, and l can't say enough good things. My nails look ok....polish isn't sloppy but she didn't really clean up the cuticle very well and honestly the most unrelaxing mani pedi I have ever had like she rubbed my feet for maybe 2 minutes and I barely felt it. I get pedis for the relaxation this was just a waste of my time and money. Also none of the tools come out of clean bags so who knows how often they are actually cleaned. 3 stars for now - with strong potential for more. I appreciate that there was no wait time and I DEFINITELY appreciate the finished product! That being said, I feel that the male nail tech did take his time, but I don't think he paid a lot of attention when he was shaping my nails. I had to ask him to fix a pretty noticeable spot on one of my fingers where it just wasn't even. Also, he did not buff the acrylic before putting on the polish. My nails came out pretty smooth, but I think some spots could've been smoother. Also, the design I wanted was matte finish but the rhinestones I got, I wanted them to shine. He almost put a matte finish on the rhinestones themselves, which I stopped before they could cure. I tried to explain I wanted the nail matte, but the rhinestones to still shine. Instead, he painted the nails with rhinestones in a gloss top coat. While pretty, it wasn't what I asked for but I had already been in the chair for a WHILE, so it is what it is. Overall I'm happy with the turn out but I wish the nail tech just had some more attention to detail. I will probably try to find another salon, but I would not be opposed to returning. read more
