I don't like this place. They do good work, I've heard, but the customer service in my situation was lacking. I went in when they were crowded. I asked if I returned later (to avoid the line) would that work. She barely gave an answer. I returned an hour before posted close time, and I guess she was annoyed. I didn't force her to take us. I asked. She grudgingly agreed. Then proceeded to put a GEL PEDICURE on my 75 year old mother. This stuff never comes off. It had to *grow out. The only good point of this place was they got me in fast. The shop absolutely overwhelms the nose with nail polish remover to the point of inducing headaches. The interior looks decrepit, like nothing has ever been upgraded or replaced. I literally had the equivalent of a toothpick used to clean my nails. The gal that did my nails was aggressive and rough, and when finished my nails had chips in them and jagged cuts that snagged on my pockets. 50 dollars for both sets and it was really just a horrible experience from start to finish. Disappointed with the SNS powder process. I decided I wanted to try the powder dip for my manicure. I felt pretty rushed to pick a color. Be aware that they still use the UV light during the entire powder process. They also dip your finger straight into the powder container so who know how many people before me dipped their fingers in there. My color came out ok, not exactly what I was looking for. Pretty disappointed, finger nails turned out lumpy and rough (dip mani). They don't use the right technique and use UV lights?? Which is not even needed for dip/SNS unless you do a gel top coat. the pedicure didn't even include a leg/foot massage, thought that was industry standard for spa pedis. Felt like the pedi was rushed too. The chair was nice and you can select different zones for it to massages. The do have a vast color selection. my two stars are given due to the color selection and decent massage chairs, although I feel that's generous. You can see from the attached photo how lumpy and rough it is. I feel like I've got to buff them and do my own top coat. 4 days agoNEW I have gone to this salon for a while now and I have always been happy! Yesterday; however, I got a fill with some stones added at extra cost. I left loving my nails! Within a few minutes of leaving, a stone popped off. I went back and she gladly fixed it. Within a few more minutes another stone popped off so I, again, went back to get it fixed. This time she seemed a little frustrated, but she fixed it. I got home and showered within 2 hours of getting the nails done and every one of the stones came off in the shower. Frustrated, I called to see what could be done and I was told to come back in and they would fix them again. Gas is ridiculous, but I paid for them so I agreed to go back, but the next day. No issues. Get there today and they are reasonably busy. I completely understand that! I was immediately greeted and told the tech that did my nails yesterday would get them fixed. I waited while she finished with her client, but they apparently were getting a set too. It takes a while to do a full set and I wasn't willing to wait for an hour and a half to 2 hours for them to fix a mistake they made. This is not my fault by anymeans and my time is valuable. The tech offered to refund me $5. That does not take care of the divets in my nails from the stones that should be there. I said no and that I'd get them next time, but I think I'll find a new salon. I feel like if I pay $70 for a FILL I should not have any issues and my nails should look great. I have never had an issue with them, but don't want to single her out and decline her services when I go next so I'll just find somewhere else to go. I will be calling for my $5 refund as I will not waste anymore gas to go there. read more

I have never felt rushed, I think they just work quickly. Each time I've liked the nails. Went in asking for my acrylic to be soaked off. The nail tech ended up prying and chipping the acrylic off of my nails. I told her I did not want it pried off because it hurts for me and I would rather pay to soak them off. She said ok but later continued to pry and chipping the acrylic away. Went there Friday to get a pedi and the service was rushed no massage just lotion rubbed on my leg. When I asked the lady could she shave down some more of my toe and told me No! Clearly it could have been done. Then I asked her why and she said she didn't want to cut me. I get my feet done all the time this was complete bulls. Then she turned hot water on my feet and kept it hot so I took my feet out of the water. No apology! The service was about 15-17 mins. I came here after getting my nails BUTCHERED by another salon. My technician was Madeleine. First time I came here she worked magic on my nails & eyebrows. She's such a sweetheart. Her vibe was very peaceful & she was super gentle & attentive to my nail that cracked horizontally prior to seeing her. My nails lasted about a month, no joke. Today was my second time seeing her & this shop does points so I was excited to learn that I had already had points from the first visit (by using the iPad sign-in). I love this place! It's the only place I will get a pedicure from. They are super clean and sanitary. They use plastic covers for each pedicure client and they have the tools in individual packets in a sanitizing station. I have a friend that got a really bad infection from a pedicure spot in Maryland and when I showed her this place she was blown away at their practices! Keep it up!! read more

Recently moved back to Hampton and looking for a closer nail salon and came across this place with a pretty good rating and decided to give them a try. Smaller establishment, when you come in you sign in on a tablet however the internet was down so I waited for a bit (30 mins). Luckily there was a tv in the back. Tom started my nails but I quickly was moved to Yen after he soaked the old gel off and I just wanted an overlay. Which is more difficult so I'm glad he gave me to someone else. She was good, but my nails are a little chunkier than I like. The next time I go I will be going to Kim who seems to have a large clientele, 3 appointments while I was there. The only reason I give it a 1 is because Ryan was so very pleasant with removing the catastrophic work of art that was on my nails. I went to this shop because I saw a picture of a foil nail design that I wanted. Tina did it in the picture but me being naive assumed all could. I'll never make that mistake again. Now I am familiar with how this should look when done. The tech, Kim, looked at the picture and told me she do it after telling me it wasn't foil and then speaking to the lady who obviously did the nails in the picture she went and got the foil pieces. After the gel polish was on- she did a nice job- she started putting the foil on and used big chunk pieces of foil sporadically through out the nail. I wanted gold foil and some of the back of the foil (which is silver) was showing. To top it off the foil was not laying flat and she put the top coat up there and put me under the UV dryer. When I then tried to tell her I didn't think it was right she proceeded to get an attitude and tell me that she has done it before and it was right and in the picture you can't see the texture -_- I explained that someone i know has had it done before and even in the picture for Tina (who works there)who has done it, it lays flat. She then took it upon her self to start taking it all off saying well you can go somewhere else for someone to do for you. I then told her that i did not have an attitude and was speaking calmly but she seemed to have one and it wasn't that serious. I asked her why was she taking all the polish off because i could've kept the white and just did something else with the pink and foil removed. She then said well you don't like so I take off and you can go somewhere else to do for you. Ok by this time i was done with this place. She had the nerve to ask if I still wanted a pedicure--Ummm No I'll go somewhere else. I tipped Ryan 10 for doing absolutely nothing but taking that mess off and will never return. The biggest waste of two hours in my LIFE! If you don't know how to do something humble yourself and ASK the person who does! In response to the reply- my fault for getting the names mixed up but I stand by what i said. I showed her the picture to show her it should be smooth. I recently got my nails done WITH foil and my nails are smooth and not bumpy like a mountain range. She doesn't know how to do foil and it's ok but she should've said it! Good day! read more

So on the door of this salon it's states mon-sat 9am to 8pm and Sundays 12pm to 6pm. So yesterday Sunday I arrive at the salon at 12:05 pm, where there were 2 ladies already outside waiting. One of the technicians arrives and opens the door right before 12:00. Only ONE technician. So I waited,then around 12:25 a second technician arrived. Since I was third in line I understood that I'd have to wait but, I also thought there might have more techs to service people. I had a prior engagement so, I thought I'll just come back in the morning at 9. I came in the today I pulled up at 9:04 and no one was there, at 9:10 I call both numbers on the door, where a lady answered and said she'd be there in 5 mins, then uttered or so. That 5 mins or so turned into ONE tech arriving at 9:37. Which I find to be highly unprofessional. I was trying to squeeze in a pedicure before my doctors appointment and yet again I couldn't. Back to back days they've opened, late obviously this is everyday. So if you plan to get there when they open, I suggest you wait a hour, to see if someone showed up!! I've never been to a nail salon before but this was peculiar to me. I've been to barber shops and hair salons, and maybe I'm wrong but I expected this establishment to open on time, and for more than one person to show up. This place has good reviews so, that's the reason I went. I guess all the reviewers never tried to get seen when they open. Maybe I can leave a better review if I ever get serviced. It's just a shame how the place says what time they open and no one who works their cares enough to be there when they say they open. read more
