I'm writing this review about Expo Nails in Yorktown Va I absolutely love this place and the manicurist name Jess is absolutely amazing with designs and taking care of your nails including your cuticle.Right now they are selling these little boxes of hand lotion that comes with a cuticle oil pen in different scents I personally love the French Lavender they only cost $3 a box and makes your hands so soft and the pen keeps your cuticles moisturized they are going fast so you better get you 1 or more before they're gone I hope they don't sell out of the French lav before I get me some more it has such a classy smell and I am a classy woman lol read more

Went yesterday and my nails were extremely rushed. My nails look absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! I wanted French tip and they just stuck the white nail tips on some crooked and to big for nails. First visit and Steven serviced me, he did an amazing job!!!!! I moved to the area and I've tried 2different nail salons. I was sad as hell to say... I was ready to travel to get my nails done. Driving around my daughter and I drove by and decided let's give this place a try, I got dip polish on my nails and I still get regular polish on my toes both are nice my daughter got a pedicure with gel polish and got sculptured toe nails on her big toe(I believe the lady name was Patty my daughter was satisfied as well pricing is good business was clean and they are very friendly I will be returning read more

He shook his head and said they were full. There was only one YT woman in a tub and no one else was there. Four open chairs. Do not spend your money in places where they don't want us. We were impressed with how accommodating they were, and the time that was taken to ensure we all (4) received exactly what we wanted. I want so badly to love this place but it doesn't seem to be in the cards. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy but the staff (a little girl who I assume is a family member) seated me quickly. The problem is that I ended up sitting with my feet in the water for 55 minutes so when the staff did get to me, I was already really uncomfortable. I had asked for a French pedicure but the white tip the tech drew on was really thick and uneven (lumpy). I asked her to thin up the line which she did on the big toe but the rest of the toe tips were still lumpy. The tech who did the pedicure was nice enough and gave a strong yet short foot massage. Bottom line: not sure I'd come here again, but if I did, I'd make sure I would be seen quickly before putting me feet in the water. read more

Not an upscale spa, but they do not bill themselves as one. They are the neighborhood place. We, my six year old daughter and I, were the only non-locals in the building. All of the reviews for all nail salons in the area were questionable at best, so I almost didn't go. I have no regrets. They are family owned and operated, so if you have a problem with the techs who are not working playing with their children in the back, this is not your place. However, if you appreciate that this keeps the family together, it does not detract from their work. The pedicures were excellent. Hot water, clean tools and they were professionals, not too long but no rush. Polish is still on fine over a week later which was my wait to review. And, they can do some amazing nail art. Cost is even better, as I normally frequent places where what was charged would be considered a tip. We will be back the next time we are in the area. read more

I don't get a manicure very often and was looking forward to treating myself. What a disappointment! I requested that my nails be trimmed. I now have no nails and the shape is awful. The technician smelled of cigarettes and no hand massage! It was also too expensive for someone to basically just cut my nails. read more

A decent nail salon that is good for groups. We had a group of six for a wedding party and they were able to take us all at once (with an appointment called ahead) and actually sat us all next to each other, which is pretty rare. A regular pedicure and shellac French manicure was $55. Note that they do not accept American Express. My nail technician was nice but a little abrupt and talked and asked about very personal things, which is a little inappropriate in my opinion. I don't really care to chat with my nail technician about why i am not currently pursuing starting a family or why I've been engaged for so long. read more

My nail technician did a great job. Her art was spot on. Loved the fact that everyone spoke fluent english and were very nice. I had a pedicure and was asked if I wanted them to use the razor. Not 100% sure but I thought this was illegal for Nail shops to use? read more

Really love this place. I was delighted by the services I received and I had acrylics, a pedi, eyebrow and Brazilian waxing. They were friendly, courteous, and did a great job. I highly recommend Cindi for waxing and pedi as she was amazing. My acrylics were on three weeks before my first fill and not one of them lifted even a little plus they weren't thick and ugly looking. I was very happy and I'll continue to return. read more

I have been to this shop twice and my latest visit will be my last. The young lady who did my shellac polish was very rough and cut my cuticles deep. She did not even bother to place any antiseptic on the wounds. I felt butchered. Don't waste your time, money or patience here. read more

I was looking for a new salon closer to my home. Thought I would give them a try. Owner did my nails, she was watching the other staff and made a mess of my nails. I asked for a french design, she painted the entire nail and then blamed me for not reminding her. I was rushed, burned by the drill. I sit in my car for a few minutes after I left just wondering what had just happened to me. Maybe I just picked a bad day to go but I won't be returning. read more

It's a lovely family ran place. My mother and I have been going to them for years. I actually tried to cheat on them once just to see if there was anything better but I was proven wrong. I actually had to come to them so they could fix the mistakes made from my infidelity . While they welcome walk ins they will hold their appointments as a priority so if you go in on a busy day expecting to be seen within ten minutes time, think again. Why just today I walked in with my mother who had an appointment and this woman got upset because we were seen before her and she stood outside their store 45 minutes prior to opening. Now our appointment was at opening time, and there was only two workers this morning and the appointment book was full until 3:00 which he, the co owner, offered to her, which she refused. So bottom line get an appointment or if you have no where to be, enjoy your stay and talk to those next to you (or pet the shop dog, Chewy). This family is very nice and very accommodating. This was my nail shop back home. I sure do miss seeing them. They do full body waxes really well. I always got my eyebrows done by Mimi. Nam was the only nail tech I have ever had wait on me. This is a family owned business and they are great at what they do. The first time I chose this location is was because it was close to my house and my job. Before I came here I was used to wham bam thank you ma'm pedicures. I was in the chair for over an hour. They make you feel you are getting the best bang for your buck. My feet felt so soft after that first pedicure. The massage he gives your legs and feet is nothing short of amazing. I went to this nail shop for over four years. I never had a bad experience here. The shop is clean and neat at all times. They have loyal customers who have been going here since they opened. In fact most of their clientele are people that are regulars. Not saying they will not welcome new customers because they do. All my family and friends still go to this shop because I raved about how great they are.
