Kind nail artists. My nail tech was helpful by helping me get seated & pushing in my chair. Different techs kept checking on me when my nails were drying. My nail tech gave a horrible massage because he put a bit of oil on them & did a quick, rough massage. My nails looked okay, but most of them had visible streaks & there were bits of skin that needed to be plucked. read more

Mediocre experience. My daughters took me for my birthday as a surprise. They gave us a 10% discount for my bday we each did gel nails and toes cost of 70 each I also got my eyebrows waxed. Okay so im going to highlight the positives first. Very pleasant atmosphere and employees seem very happy to work there. I was also impressed with the COVID-19 measures taken there were plastic barriers in between patrons and employees. Each nail tech also wore gloves, masks, and sanitized the area you sat in as soon as you moved. My eyebrows looked amazing and cost 8$. Okay so now the not so amazing I chose 2 cateye colors which i thought would look like the nails in the book. Cateye has a pretty enhancing swirl from what I understand. However neither my nails nor toes did the thing. The colors also looked as if they would complement each other. My nails look copper and my toes are pink. We showed up 2 hours before closing and i feel they rushed the job. My toes had color on the flesh and my nails felt jagged and chipped within 2 days My girls colors also looked slightly different than what they chose. One chose orange but it turned way brighter almost neon. And the other chose pinkish that was more peach. I feel they were overpriced for the service they gave us. Overall I will probably give them.another go maybe it was just the tech I had and my next experience will be better. read more

I have been here for a pedicure a few times and it was pretty much the same as any other nail salon. However, they have some of the best Covid precautions I have seen. Younger lady who did my eyebrows once was amazing and friendly but didn't get her name. HOWEVER, yesterday I went to see Vo who was recommended by a friend and OMG. So i won't be coming back to this place ever again. I came in with high hopes that this place would be amazing. The lady working on my feet let me know that I had a chipped nail on my big toe. She cut it off but then proceeded to ship into my toe and cut my nail back causing me to bleed. I yelled out because it hurt and she then proceeded to say it wasn't her fault. She said that it was my fault because of my nail, but she deliberately stuck the clippers into the side and made me bleed. She said it was all my fault and no one said they would fix it or even apologized. This was a horrible experience. The guy next to me even tried arguing with me saying that it being bruised was not bleeding. Edit: One of the ladies finally explained that they put an antiseptic on my toe to help the bleeding. read more

Love coming here! Today was a longer wait time because one of the technicians was out- but they still managed to get everyone seen and situated! I was also a walk-in so I can't really complain with the wait to be honest. Everyone here is super friendly and really sweet, and the gentleman I had today was really careful while doing my nails which I always enjoy. On Tuesdays they offer a military discount which I appreciate! I've never been disappointed here! I always get acrylics with a gel polish, and they usually last me about 3 and a half weeks before I need to get a fill. The polish I have on in this picture is the DND Gel in '429 Boston University'. I've been looking for "my" mani/pedi spot and I think I finally found it. Magic Nails welcomed me when I walked in (literally everyone turned and said hello) and I was able to walk-in for a pedi with no problem. The foot baths are hygienic, they use the plastic wrap on the bottom so you aren't sitting your feet into a dirty door bath. They offered a beverage which Is a lovely option! My nail tech was gentle and gave the best calf massage I've had in a while. The price is right, the staff is friendly and the pedi looks great - I'll be back again soon! read more

They were busy with the chairs nearly full, but I didn't even sit down before I was invited to a chair for my pedicure! I was very pleased with my pedicure. The Tropical Paradise pedicure for $30 included not only a scrub and oils/lotions like other pedicures, but also a clay mask and hot towels for my legs. Callous removal of as also included. I came here because I thought the reviews were really good. I came here two separate times both within 3 day's of each other one for a mani and one pedi with my boyfriend. The mani was just alright. I asked for a design I usually do and the technician he put the stars on top on my nail and then put a clear coat over it. Usually when the nail techs put dried up little flowers or something to that extent they put acrylic on top of it. Now some of the stars are starting to stick up and scratch me lol. I asked how much the service was going to be before he started and he told me he would tell me after. I ended up paying 65$ for the mani. with a 10$ tip even tho i wasn't the happiest. My boyfriend and I came back for a pedi and had appointments set for 2 but didn't get into the chairs around 2:30 and I had a technician work on my pedi. And he was putting nail polish on my toes as another technician had just started on his pedi. I paid for the tropical pedi that includes callous removal and I got this specially so my boyfriend could get his callous removed but he walked outta there with dead skin still on his feet. Now I understand places get busy. But it was frustrating because I wanted to get a pedi with him. Not for him to get his after mine. The cat eye color has like a glare to it makes it shinier and well mine looked like a regular color. I love this place! It's been by go-to salon for about a year now. They are always well staffed, and are very friendly and polite. Because they are well staffed, I usually never have to wait or if I do it's no more than 15 minutes. They do a thorough job and don't rush you out like some other salons I've been to. I would give zero stars if I could. Magic Nails was incredibly rude to me when I called to make an appointment; I am deaf, and have to call through a relay service. Even after explaining this, the person I spoke with hung up on me, even when I explained I was trying to book an appointment. Thinking this was done in error, I called back and said I needed to book an appointment - he hung up on me again. I tried calling back a few more times, and he simply picked up the phone and hung it up on me each time without even speaking (I assume he was using caller ID). I will never return here! The lady that did my nails was amazing, but they starting lifting two days later one nail actually completely popped off in my sleep. I went back to the salon to try to get them to fill it and fix it. the lady at the counter actually just took nail glue to all the nails that were lifting, which was 8 and try to glue back on the nail that popped off.
