Nice atmosphere and decor but I expected to be wowed with the service. I just wasn't impressed. I feel like I over paid for a very basic pedicure. I received the milk and honey for $45. It was a basic scrub and lotion situation. I have paid $35 for that and a hot stone massage included. I just feel like there is an up charge to assure good tips. I was offered a glass of wine but was not really moved by it so I declined, but it is good marketing. If the service could be impressive they would be a success. They need to hire me to consult for them. read more

I came to the salon wanting to get a gel manicure. But upon arrival they told me it would be $40 so I just opted for a gel polish change which was $30. The girl Nina did my nails and she was super sweet and nice and I was quite pleased with her service and the way my nails looked after. However, within 3 days two nails started chipping. I called to tell them and they told me to come in. I went in the next day and someone else fixed my nails. She tried to charge me $6 to fix the nails but after explaining that I had just been there she said "okay" . I will also say that she asked me who did my nails and when I told her she laughed...the two nails she fixed seem to be fine but my other hand is just awful. Pro nails is a really nice salon, they make you feel great but it's clear their product is not the best quality. They should definitely invest more in quality product to match the overall ambiance of the salon especially if their prices are the way they are. read more

Pro Nails & Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

Professional, very nice people, and nice atmosphere. My favorite part is the free champagne. I highly recommended coming here.

Great place for a mani or pedi! Clean, pleasant atmosphere! Today I had the hot stone and paraffin pedicure. It was fabulous!

I went here on a Monday afternoon around lunch time and it was surprisingly quick being seen. I got a mani and pedi with designs on both my hands and feet. Overall I enjoyed the experience and Nina (my technician) was amazing. She even replicated a design I found on Pinterest and worked with me to choose the proper color swatches. The prices were reasonable and everything was listed in detail. The only reason why I'm giving this place a 3-Star rating because I was left alone in the chair for quite some time without being attended to. But other than that I will more than likely return again (and even take them up on their drink offer) read more

Highway robbery. I will never go to this place again. They charge you for extra without telling you. They charged me almost $100 for gel manicure and regular polish on the toes. And the wait was a hour. Never again! read more

Recommended by my stylist. I got a good mani, pedi and liked my stylist, Terri. I will go again. I think she did a good job and even helped me pick a color when the one I initially chose was too light and brought me cold lemonade. Nice place! read more

I have been going to this nail salon for years now! They have a great atmosphere (recently updated)! I only go to Terry or Linda! (Appt are better) They are a bit pricey but worth it! read more

One of my favorite nail salons in the Catonsville/Ellicott City area. Clean, friendly, great service. Especially the pedicures, there are many different pedicure services to choose from. Plus they are open on Sundays. read more

I've been coming here since I moved to the Baltimore area. Kim is fantastic!!!! She is meticulous in making sure my hands and feet look and feel wonderful. The services they offer are fantastic! But make sure you make an appointment they can get very busy. read more

Decided to stop in for a manicure while my car was being serviced. That was my first mistake. The technician was rude, rushed through my manicure and generally made me feel like I was bothering her. She cut my nails crooked, filed like she didn't give a damn, and painted them sloppy. My 5 yr old niece could have done better. Will never ever come back here. read more

I have been coming here for 20 years and will NEVER come back. The customer service is horrible. The front desk woman is neither nice nor helpful. I was told that I would have a pedicure in 15 minutes and have been sitting here more than an hour while others without appointments come and go. Just lost 20 year of business. read more

I have been going to Pro Nails for 10 years. I am always happy with my nails when I come out of there. I am a hairdresser and my hands are in water a lot. Just as recent as last night I got my nails done by someone new. Her name was Linda. I just love my nails today. You know when your looking at your nails the very next day and you can't find one little thing wrong with them?. That's how I feel. Loving it. read more

They where willing to take me 15 min before closing :) the lady who did my pedi was Amazing did not rush and did a fantastic job...Thank you read more

Amazing service, with great ambience, with clean, fresh instruments that are taken out of the package in front of you, which I have to say is a plus since I have picked up a fungus infection at a previous salon. So this is definitely the way to go. Thank you ladies at Pro Nail Salon & Spa. read more

Pro Nails was an amazing experience, albeit being super pricy. The ladies there were very personable, and the quality of my manicure was absolutely great. It was very expensive but no matter how great my nails look, the prices were outrageous. I mean, sixty dollars for a mani/pedi is a bit of a stretch. read more

Way overpriced! I spent $40 for a gel manicure and I've gotten way better ones for way cheaper. The girl rushed through my manicure to move onto the next pedicure. Overall, nice salon but overpriced for what you get. read more

The young lady, Ann, that did my nails was nice and did a good job with my pedicure. However, my polish was still wet after more than 30 minutes. I suggest to the second technician, Anda (Ann had already left) that the polish was either old or oils were left on my nails prior to polishing them. She had a major attitude about having to redo the polish. I asked if they sold flips flops because the ones I brought with me are Birkenstock thongs and the leather sits over the nails. I could not take the chance of the polish change taking as long to dry and them being messed up again. She told me they sold flip flops and said they were $5 dollars. The flips flops are worth $1, $2 at the most. I suggested that, at this point, they should be providing them for free due to their error and inconvenience. Our bill was already over $160. I will never patronize this place again. Anda is very rude and should probably think of another profession that does not involve customer service. read more

I have been to many nail salons over the years but Pro Nails in Catonsville is the only place I will go now. It is clean and pleasant. Everyone is friendly and skilled so it doesn't seem to matter which nail tech you go to. If you need waxing, they do a great job at that too. I am so glad my neighbor recommended this place. read more

I'm not one to leave a review but this is the worst manicure I've ever received. I went on a Saturday morning and by that evening my manicure was cracked and looked terrible. Don't know if it was because the polish might have been old or the top coat but I've never had this happen before. By Sunday, I had to remove the polish and just painted my nails myself. read more

Super friendly staff and very clean. Great pricing for what you get! Another reviewer commented on the price being mentioned a few times. Not sure why this would be an issue at all. I have been to other Spas where people have complained they didn't know the price and thus refused to pay. Some people just like to complain. read more

My normal nail salon was booked so I stopped here for a simple fill in with gel polish. There were no designs or extra details. The stylist was sort of rushing but I didn't complain because I really needed my nails done. I got a nude OPI gel polish and it looked good at first. Within 24 hours the polish had bubbled up so much that it was peeling off. Mind you my fill in was $40 which was the price of a normal full set at my usual salon. Came in the next day and they did fix it with no problems, however it was peeling again by the end of the week. I feel like they should invest in better products if they're gonna charge these prices. read more

I have been a customer of this Pro Nails for over 10 years. The service has recently declined. Today I requested a manicure for an evening event. The nail technician cut my cuticle and due to bleeding, no polish could be applied. I was charged full price for this disappointing service. I will not be returning to this Pro Nails. read more

I went because I had an errand in the area but needed a manicure before a dinner event. I am not happy that I went here. First, they did not have the best assortment of gel manicure colors. I had a very pleasant experience with the people who worked there. Many women and men who were courteous and kind. However, the job they did with my nails was very sub-par. My manicurist cut my index finger really bad, then continued to chat in Vietnamese with one of her colleagues in a complaining voice. I was really upset about this. They were clearly talking about me and the fact that she didn't know what to do. She also cut my nails the wrong shape. I specified twice that I wanted it square. Then she confirmed it. But she filed my nails round. The manicure took so long as well. She really nipped out all of my cuticles to the point where they were inflamed and painful the next morning. I would not return, but I don't have an issue with the ladies who work there themselves. They were nice! But the job that they did on me that day was awful... read more

i normally go here all the time , but the last time i went there like 2weeks ago i got a regular pedicure & now that i have taken my polish off i have a black spot underneath my toenail which is a fungus!!!! i have NEVER in my life had a nail fungus Ever!! so for this to happen in extremely upset! they either didnt clean my toes properly or they didnt wash & soak the things they used on my feet properly! you spend money to make sure you feet are nice & healthy & look what happens!!! NEVER going back again! okay & im reporting this!! read more

This place had horrible service. I didn't mind the 15 min wait because it was a busy Sat and I didn't have an appointment, but I sat waiting on a stylist with my feet soaking long enough that the water was cold by the time she got there. Another stylist who was working on someone else's feet kept trying to up sell me on things after I'd already agreed to a deluxe pedicure with some added on features and a gel manicure. She just wouldn't stop. Then my stylist charged me $10 for callus removal, a service that normal pedicures already include, and then had the nerve to try and charge me thirty additional dollars for gel polish on my feet above and beyond the $50 I was already paying for the deluxe pedicure. I have NEVER heard of paying so much more money for gel polish. When I questioned the pricing and policy and requested regular polish instead, both stylists gave me attitude and tried to tell me why I should get the gel instead. As if this weren't enough, the stylist began prepping me for the wrong kind of manicure and then cut my finger to bleeding when she went to file & shape my nails. I even had to ask her to evenly file a nail she misshaped and she blamed it on my finger being crooked. I'm not sure what my crooked finger would have to do with the noticeable dip in the acrylic but ok, sure lady. I have been through some things but this was the worst service I've ever encountered in a nail spa and I most definitely will NOT be returning, and I recommend no one else waste their time or money there either. read more

Love this place! The only negative is parking. I have had regular pedicures and pink/white manicures for years, they are awesome. I recently moved to the area and tried numerous places, finally found Pro Nails and I'm making it my regular place! Michelle is great, I have always tried to get her, but really each woman is wonderful. They are all wicked nice, personable, and concerned with taking the best care of their customers! In terms of price I don't think it's that bad. I have been to salons all over the country and the cost is similar! Not the cheapest I have been to but by far not the most expensive! read more

my mom and i have been coming here for over 15 years and there is no other place ill go to , the workers are nice its very clean and relaxing and they do a great job they have an loyalty system if you enter your number in at end read more

They were ok. "Meh" was my impression. I got a gel fill with a white tip after I'd had blue, and when removing the polish she missed a spot of blue, which now shows up under the clear gel. Also the shape of the middle nails are a little wonky/off center. But, she was nice and tried to make conversation (I don't particularly enjoy conversing while getting my nails done, but at least she made an effort like some people like). She was definitely always trying to sell me more things, like an eyebrow wax, manicure (after she drilled my cuticles and they were ragged), and more wax wax wax. I ended up getting an eyebrow wax, which was good, at she didn't push the rest, which I appreciated. I also got a fancy pedicure, which was amazing. So, with the pros and cons together, I'd say they're - OK. I'd go again, and just make sure I keep an eye on my nails at every step, and tell them to avoid to off center shape. read more

I have been patronizing this shop for almost a year and the only times I have experienced bad service it has been with one person. Well, three strikes and I am done. Again, she provided me with the WORST service today and I wish, I so wish I knew what her name was because I would put her name out there so others could beware. The first time she was rude and rushed through my service, the second time she cut my foot while rushing through a pedicure and today she didn't even allow for me to choose what kind of pedicure I wanted plus she was rushing so I knew she had another customer scheduled to come in by the way she was rushing. She squeezed in my waxing service and passed me off to someone to finish my gel nail service. Well, she gave her the wrong color and it took forever for them to find the match...they say that the color they found was the match but it doesn't look like a match to me. Mind you I am not really upset about the mix up in nail colors that is just an additional layer on top of the bad service and the lady really didn't care. I am not going to be giving this place my business anymore. I am done, there are other clean and sterile places to frequent who's employee provide good service. read more

It's really nice and relaxing. The spa chairs are comfy. The prices are pretty high, which I really wasn't expecting. Had I known I would have gone to a better spa. The girls are nice enough, but communication can be an issue as some of them don't speak much English. They will try to up sell. Have cash on hand for a tip as you can't write it onto the bill. If not there is an ATM. I was satisfied with the job overall and the service and facilities weren't too bad. I wouldn't go back due to the price, for a little more I can go to the red door! read more

I have been going to Pro Nails for about a year now. The salon is very clean and has a nice layout and they are usually always busy with a large staff on hand. My first visit I was paired with Michelle and she did a very nice job and was quick, so I continued to see her, thinking I hit the jackpot...until recently. The last few times I scheduled appointments I still had to wait for at least 15-20 minutes until she was able to see me. And while I can excuse that to a certain degree, I cannot excuse sloppiness. In addition to the waiting, I have also had issues where Michelle would drop her tools on my fingers causing minor scuffs and dings, but the last time was the worst. While she was sanding the nail on my middle finger, she dropped her tool and it took a size able chunk of my skin and cuticle, to where blood was running down my hand. She quickly put some kind of clotting liquid all over it and grabbed a towel, but it kept bleeding. Finally it stopped and she continued with a quiet "I'm sorry" here and there, but otherwise not much else. And when she did finally finish and we walked up to the counter, I was surprised when she charged me full price and seemed unapologetic then. I didn't make a big deal of it, though I would have had the right to, I just stood there looking at her in disbelief, hoping that by my trying to be understanding that she would show me some kindness. I guess not. My husband kept telling me after the first few cuts and dings to go elsewhere. I should have listened. It's been four weeks since the incident and my finger still hasn't healed. read more

The staff is so friendly and the menu options are extensive. You can get a normal pedicure to a milk and honey treatment, and everything in between. This is definitely my go-to spot!!! read more

First and last time I will go there. I went in for a pedicure. I was asked twice if I wanted additional services. I said no just a basic pedicure. She never said a word to me after that. No foot or leg massage and I was out of there in 15 minutes. I would never recommend this place! read more

I live about 10 mins from this place. Its hard to find good salons near where you live & them not being overpriced! This place was amazing!! I got a full set/pedicure. The pedicure was pure relaxation! I picked a more expensive package to pamper myself after coming home from vacation. They did take a little time after they sat me in a pedicure chair. The atmosphere was calming & very soothing & relaxing. I had Jennifer for my pedicure she was great & Michelle for my nails. Michelle suggested white tip & they look PERFECT!! I cant be any happier with the way they are! I recommend this place to anyone! Nice job ladies! read more

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! There are plenty of other nail salons in the area that are way better. I went in to get my gel polish removed plus a nail trim/manicure with no polish. I saw Michelle and from the moment I sat down she seemed super aggravated. She was completely rude the entire time. She went extremely fast not caring if she was hurting me. She kept shaking her head the whole time and just going so fast I almost had to stop her and walk out, but I sat there because I just wanted it over with. Then comes the manicure part. She trimmed my nails so short very quickly it actually hurt. Then she filed so much that my nails were totally uneven and just looked weird. She literally took 3 minutes to do clip nails, file, cuticle trim (which she went so fast I felt like she was ripping my skin). Finally I went to the front after she rushed me away and she says "20 dollars" I told her I didn't even get polish... that was it 20 dollars for the WORST "manicure" I've ever gotten in my entire life. They were so NASTY and RUDE at the desk that I didn't even want to argue. But they lost a customer today and hopefully after people read this they lose many others. To be honest this isn't the first time I've experienced rude behavior here. In fact EACH TIME I've gone they are rude. Who knows why I keep going. I guess bc it's convenient location but never again. Today was the last straw. read more

I have been going to Pro Nails for years even before the renovation and always had such a wonderful relaxing experience there. I think the renovation helped to give it such a spa like atmosphere and the waterfall decor and the spa music definitely helps you to sit back and really just have a day to yourself. And I love the massage chairs! All the staffs are excellent and they all do a wonderful job. They take their time to really give you the best service ever! I've been to other nail salons and I always felt rushed and the place never felt relaxing with too many distractions. As long as I live close by I will always be a loyal customer. read more

Came into your establishment today compliments of my boss to be treated to a Valentine's pedicure and a very alarming situation happened .. The entire glass door shattered and not only did it scare us but we were struck by shards of glass and although we are aware that things can happen it was how we were treated by the owner that was the disappointment .. My boss has brought me to your establishment many times in the past and has ALWAYS treated me to your private room.. I am aware you are a new owner and I just want to share with you that because of the way you treated her you unfortunately cost yourself a very loyal customer .. I hope that you do not take this post wrong but as a learning experience .. When someone is a paying customer especially with her longevity that you would consider that although we can not always control what happens we can control how we treat our customers ..#verydisappointedcustomer read more
