They didn't give up and were willing to go above and beyond to figure out a way to get to couch in. They did things other movers wouldn't. So it is no small thing for me to say that this was, beyond any comparison, the easiest move I've ever had in my life. Ted and Seth are the best! They were so professional and courteous, really going out of their way to ensure our things were handled with care. On top of all that, they were very funny and got the job done while making me laugh which is always a good thing. Take a look at the amount of stuff we had and that was just a fraction of what they moved. They will charge you for the time it takes them to get to your house from their previous location. In my case, they arrived at my house at 11:12 a.m. but they wrote 10:45 a.m. as the starting time. In other words, I paid over $75 just to get them to my house. They will also charge you for the time it takes them to get from your house to their next destination. The only reason I rated two stars and not one is because one of the two men they sent (the younger one) was quite friendly and cooperative. The other, however, was hell bent on letting the time go by, moving only one chair at a time and very slowly. They are super nice on the phone, but everything changes when you have them at your house. I do not recommend this service at all. read more

I am a lazy girl and had no interest in carrying large furniture down three flights of stairs, luckily I found these guys on yelp! Asked for a quote through yelp and got a speedy response. Called them on a Monday to see if they could help me move the next day and they were able to accommodate me on such short notice! The gentlemen on the phone gave me a pick up window on when to expect them and I planned accordingly. The gave me a courtesy call about a half an hour before they arrived for some follow up questions and to let me know when they planned to arrive. They arrived within the window they told me and had me sign some paperwork. (They offer two different types of insurance coverage for your items, one free, and the second one for another fee that I don't remember but hey, that's nice!). They came with a moving truck big enough to move an entire home! I only had a few things.. but a huge truck is better than no truck. They wrapped everything I needed moved in moving blankets and shrink wrapped it! I felt like all my stuff was safe and cozy. They were in and out of my apartment in a jiff(felt bad for my downstairs neighbor but oh well!). They quickly unloaded everything at my new house and everything was in great condition still. If you pay by card they do have to type your credit card information into the phone but they only save the last four digits of your card number so no worries. Also keep in mind if you're planning your moving budget, they account for the time they drive to and from their location to your home. Please don't forget to tip your movers! read more

I had a terrible experience with this company. They added on an extra, hidden fee of $581 for circumstances of which they were made aware beforehand but did not advise me that they would charge more in this case. Nowhere in their literature nor in the conversations about the situation did they tell me there would be an additional fee. I protested at the time but had no choice but to go along with it as I had nonrefundable hotel and airline tickets and my things were on their truck before they told me about the fee. When I requested a partial refund later, they refused. I took the matter to the Better Business Bureau and they refused to communicate with the BBB, until finally, their business rating was affected. I did check later with their rating and it was very low. I should have checked before using them. I tried every avenue to deal with them, and got stonewalled, and finally threatened by the General Manager who warned me not to use Yelp to complain. I would never recommend people to use this company and indeed say, Beware!! Also, of the 40 some boxes I packed myself, nothing arrived broken or missing. Most of my things arrived with dents, scratches, parts missing and broken. As a 78 year old disabled senior, I am very saddened by such bad business ethics....we all have to rely on each other to do the right thing, especially the elderly. read more

Hired ProMovers to help move me from an apartment into a house in 2016. Two guys showed up a half hour late and proceeded to load the truck I rented because they couldn't legally provide a vehicle. I hired movers because I had recently hurt my back and didn't want to reinjure anything, which becomes a factor. One of the guys, the younger one, was great. Worked quickly, was friendly, was careful. The other one, the older one, was clumsy, unfriendly, took a huge number of breaks and let the other guy and me do pretty much all the work. He left two or three times to trade his van with his wife and went to get and eat Taco Bell without saying a word about leaving. When the time came to pay the bill, the older guy, who I guess was in charge, tried to charge me for the straight time that he didn't work. I asked to speak to his boss, who showed up in about ten minutes. He took off all the time that the older guy hadn't worked after explaining what had happened. Needless to say, I tipped the younger guy and not the older one. After they had been paid and left, I found a huge amount of scuffs and scratches all over my furniture. Basically every piece of wood furniture had been damaged in some way. I can't give any review which glows in any way for this company because who knows how much time they would have stolen had I not caught the employee who did hardly anything. Not to mention I hurt my back helping the younger guy because I felt bad for him because his co-worker was worthless. Cannot recommend at all. read more

On the morning of my scheduled move I again called to confirm. Then they never showed up! When I called them they said they would look into it and call me back in a few minutes. I originally hired Pro Movers to load a POD storage unit that was supposed to be placed outside my apartment complex. After unforeseen complications with the POD company, my storage unit was unable to be placed at my complex and therefore had to remain at the POD facility a few miles away. Pro Movers accommodated the change in my situation with only a day's notice. The day of the move, Dennis called me to confirm my appointment time, and let me know that they were running a few minutes early, which was fine by me because I was ready to get my apartment cleaned out! They brought a large moving truck with them to my apartment, which they loaded, drove to the POD facility, and then loaded my POD for me. I was initially worried that this would be a stressful experience, but I really lucked out and received excellent movers! Dennis and Roby (I hope I'm spelling this correctly!) were not only kind and personable, but quick and efficient. They treated my furniture with care, and wrapped my larger pieces like my couch and armoire with stretch wrap, which I greatly appreciated. When we got to the POD facility, Dennis and Roby were able to fit all of my furniture and boxes into the front half of my 16 ft POD storage unit with plenty of room to spare! I was worried that not all of my belongings would fit in the POD since I acquired more furniture, shoes, and clothes since coming to Eugene, but they managed to make everything fit perfectly. I am so grateful for their help with moving, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing help with a move either to or from Eugene! read more

They helped me move in Feb of 2020 and I was just moving from a studio to a one bedroom apartment. I honestly didn't know I would get charged so much and it took them this long. They took a long time to disassemble my bed. Later,I kept hearing something break or there was something wrong with my bed. I eventually took my mattress off and they didn't even assemble my bed correctly. They were supposed to screw the nails into the hole and it was very easy. Even I could've done it but they just left the metal piece on top and didn't even screw it on. And other screws were coming out. I definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND them as I see that they were just lazy and not thorough enough. read more
