I was unsure if a handrail was even be possible. Everyone, from the lovely lady who answered the phone to the gentleman who came out to do the estimate (and show us samples), were friendly and informative. The crew that came out to measure and install were efficient and knowledgeable and cleaned up the metal shavings. My husband went outside a couple of times during installation to make sure that the railing was installed to our liking (always a good idea to check with the installers to make sure they know exactly what you want). The result is that we have a simple, but beautiful railing, and no longer have to worry about tripping on our weird steps (our steps are not code..circa 1975). We were offered a choice of colors and the type of finish, either an enamel coating or a powder coating. So glad we went with the powder coating. It is very durable, has a bit of texture to it and is a matte finish. It was worth the extra money. I did not seek to get a second bid as I had done my research on Estate Iron Work and found this company had a good track record. I was not disappointed.

He came to our house to give a bid and helped us decide what would work best for the space and gave us a few options. We weren't sure what we could afford so his estimate had a few different options and everything was itemized with the add-ons we had discussed. Once we made up our minds we got on the schedule. I had no problems communicating with Jerrod and he was always quick to respond and answered my questions. They showed up exactly when they said they would in the morning each day and it took them 3 days just like Jerrod said. Everything looked great when they were done and we're very happy with the outcome. The wood stove is installed and the raised hearth makes it so easy to build fires.

They discovered issue I had of dry rot to the wood behind the chimney and came up with a plan to repair it. it did cost a little more obviously as it's aged with to the quote but they replaced the wood, some studs, insulation, and siding.

That company left a complete mess (and a huge invoice significantly above their bid). We asked Robert to come estimate on the filling of these two holes as well as to fix the newly broken downspout drainage pipe (the original company also burst the main water pipe). Also asked him about some asphalt areas that were affected by tree roots. Hired him to do all of it. They did a great job filling, removing, and paving. Everything was also completed before deadline and any debris was cleaned up. In the future, my plan is to hire him to seal my asphalt. His price is very competitive also. And scheduling was easy. He responds immediately when you contact him, and most importantly I find he is a honest businessman.

After talking to 3 companies that were all recommended by my coworkers, I ended up going with Dinu for the following reasons. - his passion for hardwood. i want someone who is passionate about his work. Dinu is the man - knowledge. i ended up chatting with all of them and found Dinu to be very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Because this is something he is passionate about , he would spend enough time to explain his thoughts. - integrity. his estimate was very buttoned up without any funny stuff Honestly, there are lots of people who know how to install hardwood floors. I've done that on my own so for me, finding a guy that i can trust and rely on mattered more than anything else. Dinu is that type of the guy. Because the work can only start after closing the house, I had to time everything perfectly and even with a perfect plan, things always go wrong, and it is a matter of a call or text to him to take care of it. Of course, the installation done by his crews (great guys too. there is this older gentleman who is very professional and put all the young guys to shame!!! I believe his name was Mike. It was such a pleasure to get to know the crews as well. I am pleased with the quality for the planning, communication and installation done by Dinu and his team. They were the first to respond to my request for fence repair and I sent them photos of the damaged fence and some overall measurements and they emailed me a quote. The fence was between me and our neighbor, so we were splitting the cost between us. They happily came out and confirmed the quote. General Rot came in with the lowest bid and we went ahead and scheduled them to do the work. Roman was great to work with and he and his crew did a fantastic job and explained everything along the way. They were able to use all the fence panels, but cut off the rotten ends of the 2x4's at the bottom that would connect to the new post. I really liked that they use screws instead of nails. The cemented posts were very strong. I highly recommend this company. Great service, quality and value!
