Showed up almost 2 hours late, damaged a $300 chair they couldn't be bothered to wrap in a blanket…read more They could not disassemble a table because they didn't bring a full set of allen wrenches. The good news is, I was able to dig out my own set for them. The bad news is I'm still waiting for it back. I didn't even want to ask them to reassemble it in the new location. If I had, thought, I might still have the hardware it came with which they also took. Lest you think the damage was limited to the furniture, don't worry. They also dropped a box containing imported olive oil and red wine vinagrette which would have made a nice salad, if it weren't busy being a threat to life and limb for days, while their (admittedly hilarious) attempts to shove a modestly-sized couch down a hallway is surely a mortal threat to my security deposit. They should change their name to four F's for FFFFFFFFFFForget you.

I booked these guys after reading the great reviews on Yelp. Maybe the crew we had was new, but…read morethey were untrained, unprofessional, and did an overall poor job. They were 2 hours late for a 9am appointment. It then took them over 6 hours to move our 1 bedroom apartment - and we stopped them before they had reassembled the table and bed frame because we were worried about them damaging things further. They were basically the opposite of Midas' golden touch. It felt like everything they touched was damaged by the end of the move. They didn't know how to properly wrap things (it just so happens that the person I was moving with used to be a mover and was appalled). The were clumsy, careless, and had no hustle whatsoever. This was an elevator building and they blew right past our reservation window. Even my sweet, white haired maintenance man was aghast at their slowness and dawdling. At least 2 of them argued about how the other one was doing something wrong. They claim it took them 2 hours to drive from Lincoln Square to Gowanus because "a street was closed". I drove the same path twice that day (on streets, not highways) in 40 minutes. We actually used google maps at the time of their departure, which said (including traffic and avoiding highways) less than 45 minutes. They were not prepared - no extra boxes (we could've used another large box but the stores were sold out), and they ran out of furniture wrap. They also accidentally left with the hardware to our furniture so that we couldn't reassemble things ourselves without ordering new hardware. We tried to contact them about the missing hardware and the damage to our furniture and never received a response. I waited 2 months to write this review to give them a chance to respond to the calls/emails. Still nothing. The only thing I have to give them credit for, is that In the middle of the move when we called to see about compensation for the excessive lateness in the morning, they gave a discount of the price of 2 movers per hour instead of 3. But after seeing the results of the move, I was nothing but disappointed.

I felt he was honest and trustworthy. Wore the mask the whole time. He was also efficient, strong, and got things done well without damaging things. I was so happy my partner hired them. Then I needed to move a couch and Angelo helped with that. Angelo was at least as professional, trustworthy, friendly and respectful as his employee. We got the couch moved and things went smoothly. If I need more moving help they will likely be my first choice. I felt both moves were a fair price as well. I have zero affiliation with them, just really appreciate their service.

First off I was extremely clear to the company as to what was needed and when it came time to send pictures of the items, it was a surprise to them that I needed an additional room moved. Again I was clear in my email to the owner so when he gave me his pricing I was extremely happy. No need to look elsewhere. Right? He straight out played me. Hit me with an additional $200 charge with no time to look elsewhere. Then when we went back and forth and I resent the email I originally sent him when we were discussing pricing, he tried to justify his mistake because his "answer" specifically said "stop" and not additional room. You're a scammer who made a mistake and left me no choice to choose you because I couldn't get another moving company in a days notice. Oh and to top it off an hour late without notice. Originally I scheduled the move for 10am because the person I was purchasing the item from needed to leave for an event by 12pm. The owner of the company, George Marengo wrote me the day before the move to tell me he had scheduled a move before mine and had to move my pick up time to 11:45am. I told him that was not going to work as the owners of the item had to be gone by 12pm and nobody would be home to let the movers in. He assured me in writing that the item would be picked up by 12pm, and that the movers should even be early. At 11:15am the movers called to tell me they would be an hour late. I told them that the owner assured me the elliptical machine would be out of the apartment by 12pm. They said that the owner never conveyed that information to them, and that if he had, they would have done my move first. After they informed me they would be arriving past the scheduled 11:30am pick-up time, I called the owner to try to understand why he did not express the time sensitivity to his movers, and countless phone calls to him all day and voicemails yielded ZERO response. In fact, during the 11:15am call from the movers, they told me they would be there for the pick-up at 12:15pm. After explaining to the owner of the item that they would be late, the owners agreed to stay a bit longer to wait, even though it would make them late for their event later that afternoon. 4 HOURS LATER, the movers arrived after not being in contact with me since 11:15am. The owner of the item was long since gone and I had been waiting on the stoop of the apartment for the movers the entire time. When the movers got the item to the van, I asked if they needed to follow me to the apartment. They said they did not as they were familiar with the area I lived in. So, I told them I would be waiting at the apartment to let them in and urged them to get their quickly as I had been waiting so long for them already. 2 hours later I had called the movers and had no response. Finally after hanging up and dialing over and over, I got through to them and they told me that they had stopped to pick up storage boxes. I was furious and asked them why on earth they would stop to pick up storage boxes that had nothing to do with my move when they had already made me wait for 4 hours before picking up my item. They told me that they would "get there when we get there" and promptly hung up on me. The movers arrived at 6:30pm to deliver the item, a full 7 hours past the pick up time. This companies clear disrepect for customer's time and the fact that they made no attempt to contact me to try to apologize in any way is unacceptable. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION OR KEEPING CUSTOMERS WAITING FOR HOURS. You may save some money by using them, but the don't care about making you wait for 7 hours!!!!
