In regards to Halie's comment, she is inaccurate with her facts. Since the TV is heavy, the two movers brought the TV into the truck. I even requested a wool blanket to ensure the that the TV wouldn't get broken, yet they failed to use it properly. I used this company through uHaul and they never gave me any paperwork to sign including any documentation with liability waivers. It never stated the items that NYS was liable for either. Also, "The client did not take out a policy to cover damages in transit", this comment is not truthful as I was never aware in any "policy to cover damages" or I would have taken such coverage. Like I said, they are showing very little empathy in this matter and still fails to take responsibly for the situation, they are just acting so defensive and I don't appreciate it. read more

Great service! The driver was QUICK and GENTLE with my items. A gentleman named Nick also had great customer service in calling me and checking in throughout the entire process - also, being on standby when I got worried for a split second. (Driver arrived a bit later than us to the unloading location but this is because the driver's commercial vehicle cannot take some routes that non-commercial cars can. It is a little worrying when you book with a new company, so it got us there for a bit but no everything went good!) I contacted them and was able to get same day move. Their prices are reasonable. RYNE Corp. contacted me the night before the move that they would not be using the standard van and instead a personal truck that cannot fit all of my items in one trip. They told me they would not be responsible for any damages in the move because it is a self-move and they did not give COI or insurance information. I requested a refund for the deposit and am looking for other movers at the last minute for tomorrow morning. I attached photos of our conversation which may not be showing up in this review. I booked a new mover at the last minute who immediately provided COI. The other reviews on this Yelp page are not recommended and do not apply to their star rating, and 3 reviews are deleted, so it's unclear how credible their moving business is without reviews or insurance. read more

When the pandemic hit, my husband and I moved out to Long Island from NYC. Cheaper moving service but you kinda get what you pay for. They were significantly cheaper than the other moving companies I contacted. When I made the reservation they original said they could come at 2, then when it was time to make the down payment for the moving the time was moved to 3 which was fine and I appreciated them telling me in advance. The day of my move they didn't show up until 9 pm. They updated me periodically but when it's the last day of the month and you HAVE to be out of your apartment I found it super stressful. Also, because it was the last job of the day the guys kind of rushed it and some of my furniture got unnecessarily scraped because they tried to carry more than they should at once. I saw one of them try to carry six drawers at once, of course one of them fell on the sidewalk as he walked and got scraped. My relatively new chest of drawers also got damaged on one of the corners where some of the wood is now missing. Overall I would say they're OK. Good if you're looking for a cheap move and don't care too much if your furniture is slightly damaged after delivery. If I had to use them again I would make sure my move was the first job of the day. read more

First of all, Halie was very quick to respond to my inquiry. The quote sent to me was very reasonable so I hired them right away. The movers were late due to a previous job underestimating the amount of stuff they had, but Halie kept communicating with me and made sure our move happened that day anyway - we needed to give back the keys to the apartment the next morning. The movers came in and pretty much took care of all of our furniture and large boxes in less than 2 hours (1 bedroom apartment). They brought their own dollies, which was super helpful. First off let me start by saying that I had another mover booked for my move. I started to feel uneasy when I felt like a couple of very specific questions weren't being answered and there was little communication from them. The icing on the cake was when I did receive a text from the owner (about two weeks before the scheduled move) and he asked how he could help me and if I were still interested in booking their services. Considering they were hired over two weeks prior to that text that was the last straw. I looked around a bit and came across Ryne so I contacted them to request a quote. This was on a Friday night around 9pm and I got a response and was already hashing out the specifics with Nick in less than an hour. On a Friday night. Even though their quote was higher than the original movers I had hired, I immediately felt at ease talking to Nick and it was obvious that these people cared about their business. Two days later I decided to move forward with them and plan the move. Halie then followed up a day later to confirm my details and I paid the deposit and finished up my packing. On the day of the move while they were on time I was a little disappointed to see that one of their movers (of three) hadn't showed up and as a result they had to wait for him. After 45 minutes I spoke to Carlos and he and the other mover began on their own. At this point I had to leave to go to the new apartment for a walk through for about 45 minutes and when I returned not only was a replacement mover present, but about 80% of the boxes and furniture were already packed...even things I planned on taking in my car. Carlos and his crew were beasts...carrying things by themselves that normally require two. Nick showed up and took apart a fairly complex platform bed with storage and then reassembled again in the new apartment with no instructions whatsoever. And after starting late and having to take more time to disassemble the bed, the move was finished in less time that I was quoted. I cannot stress how much I recommend this company. From start to beginning I never felt that my move wasn't as important to them as it was to me. Nick and Halie both did all that they said they would and more. Carlos and his crew were awesome. Ryne saved us! We had our original moving company screw us over on Saturday, pushing back the move time until 9pm when our building, fairly, said we could no longer move in that day. Ryne answered the call late Saturday night and showed up a full minute early Sunday morning. They did the move perfectly, relieved a ton of stress for us and were responsive and pleasant the entire time.
