my car does not have a flip key, but I wanted one. So, I bought 2 aftermarket flip keys with remote for my car from a seller on ebay. Got them cut from a locksmith nearby, only to realize it wont turn to On. The locksmith near me did not have spare blades for a flip key. called pro locksmith at 10:45 am for the flip keys and asked mike if he had spare blades. He checked the keys, and said the flips keys are not working as they are not the right thickness. He then told me he doesn't have flip key blades (as my car never came with a flip key), but he would improvise a blank key and make turn them into flip key blades for me. I was impressed, this is what is called Customer Service. mike spent and hour and a half working on them to make two flip key blades for me and went out of his way to help me out. Eventually, because the keys were Chinese the chip didn't program with my car but mike is going to order replacement chips and we will be at it again. All in all, an awesome experience with pro locksmith. They will be my locksmith's in Dallas for sure. really very high recommend. read more

I would give negative stars if possible. They were charging me $200 to unlock my car IF I wanted to keep my lock in tact. I refused and then CESAR called me and insinuated I didn't have the money to pay. Excuse me? I assured him I have the money, just wasn't willing to pay so much. He said he'll bring it down to $80. I still declined. I said I'd pay the service fee for the time spent traveling to me but with my purse locked in my car, I could only pay with PayPal or Venmo. It's not an unheard situation, considering what was happening, so he said he would have my car towed until I could pay the $15. Listen, asshole, I'm a girl but I'm not an idiot. I offered payment. So fuck off. This company is a crock. I'm getting AAA as soon as I get home. I'd give negative stars if I could. Update: he is still threatening to tow my car after 1hr. I'm only giving them one star as they were the only company to answer on a Friday night and showed up in less than an hour. It only took the guy about 5 minutes to open the door to my apartment. He quoted me $105 to unlock my door because "the bottom lock was more difficult to unlock." Whatever.. I just need to get back into my apartment. Well this is where it all goes downhill.. he tells me it's around $112 with tax and I hand him my credit card. Apparently their credit card machine is down so he refuses and says he only accepts cash. I offer him $55 (as that's all the cash I have) plus a check for the remainder. He refuses. I tell him to write down my credit card number for the remainder and be refused. As we live in the 21st century, if you only accept cash, this is something that must be addressed before the work begins. Well he refuses all my offers and states I must go to an ATM and get money. The best part is he says he will follow me to the ATM. No way buddy. I did drive across town to an ATM but I will NEVER use this company again. They take advantage of people in a time of weakness and such shitty tactics should not be allowed. read more

I gave him the option to give me my money back for him not providing services. We wanted our locks rekeyed. We were told the price would be between $19 and $40 per lock and we had 4 locks. I got a call from the lock guy asking if our locks were gold or silver which should have been irrelevant. I told him they were oil-rubbed bronze. He said no problem. He came to the house and said it was $50 per lock plus the service call fee. Then instead of rekeying the locks he replaced the lock mechanism with a bright gold mechanism which doesn't match the knob or deadbolt. He didn't have the tools or ability to rekey locks even though that is what we ordered. Of course he didn't have the ability to make extra keys either. This guy was no locksmith! We could have done what he did ourselves. He also parked up on our sidewalk and left rubber tire marks on the walk. read more
