O. M. G. I just saw one their vans on the 50 freeway with nice graphics and a professional layout, so I thought that I would call and see what services they offered and what counties they service. When I called the toll free number, a young Latina answered and while pleasant, had NO idea what her company's service area was! She proceeded to place me on hold, to "check with her manager" and after a couple of minutes - came back to the line and said she had spoken to her manager and that she would leave a message for someone to call me back... In disbelief, I reiterated my [very simple] question; "Do you service the El Dorado county area?" She said she didn't know (having JUST spoken with her "manager") and that she'd have to leave a message. Unbelievable. Who hires someone to answer the phones for a service-based business and doesn't train them in the basics of their company and the services they offer? To the owner of this seemingly professional company: Please take the time to train (or re-train) your staff so they can properly and professionally represent the business you have worked so hard to build. Needless to say, I told the young lady, "never mind, I'm not interested." Guess I'll be going to the next flooring company on Yelp who IS interested in my business. read more

UPDATE: The following day after I made my review somebody reached out to me. I must say the customer service and timely responses of this place are phenomenal. Turns out that we had a bit of a miscommunication, and the company took full responsibility for that. They have addressed my issues and have offered to fix them. Also, the owner of the company personally reached out to me to make sure everything was good. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. Pro floors definitely values their customers and I would definitely give them my business again. Thanks again guys, you rock. This is honestly the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I was so excited to get new floors, I emptied my entire apartment onto my patio, they said they would be here around one. At three I began calling, A bit concerned that they were way past the window, they assured me they were coming. It wasn't until 6 o'clock at night they told me that they were not coming. I had to move all of my belongings back inside of my apartment as I cannot leave them outside on my open patio. They assured me they would come the next day with the manager, buy me some lunch and also give me a gift card for my troubles in addition to moving all of my belongings back outside for me. The manager came the next day, I do not remember his name he apologized, did not give me the gift card I was promised nor the lunch. It was raining that day so they were unable to move my stuff outside as it would get wet, but they assured me they could do the job by just moving my stuff from one side of the room to the other. They did, but did not cover anything, I spent weeks cleaning up sawdust. They also broke one of my picture frames and chipped one of my pots. Terrible experience, I am still waiting on my gift card, and to be compensated for the day of work I missed, And the hotel I had to stay in because I could not sleep in my oapartment. The estimator, John, came to the house twice. Once to take measurements and another to introduce the carpenter doing the job, Brian. Brian's supervisor came out three times as well to start the job, monitor progress, and check the completed project. Brian did an excellent job. This was a replacement of a floor placed as part of an addition. He pulled out the old and replaced in-kind, but with marked improvements. They layout was much improved, the boards were tight even before nailing, and he nailed them at a slightly tighter schedule. These should last 50 years. We had our home floors installed by them in 2020. Like most companies, their salesmen said all the right things and gave us a great price. But when it came to install they did a poor job and tile pieces under the vinyl planks. They came back to "repair" but they only fixed half of the issues. It was such a hassle the first time to get them to come out that we decided to just deal with the other two areas. After 2 years we have 3 damaged "life proof" planks and pro floors refuses to come out and fix the damage because they only do commercial now. read more

I shopped around and got 4 different quotes for my carpet change, including Home Depot. I decided to go with ProFloors not for their price but the confidence I gained interacting with the sales person (Paul B). I might have talked to him 3 times and had 5 different email exchanges before opting to go with them. More than anything, he gave me honest suggestions on what carpet to choose and why, and it never felt like he was trying to push me to decide soon. The 3 bedroom + stairs + foyer was scheduled to be a 2 day job but the crew was able to stay late (8:30PM) and complete everything. This was my first carpet change so I don't have anything to compare against, but I could tell the crew didn't try to cut corners, no pun intended. Corner to corner everything looked great. We had a walk though at the end and I pointed out a couple of spots where the baseboard inside the closet had gaps. I wasn't expecting more than a minor fix as it was already late, but the crew got back in and looked at every baseboard and spent another 15-20 min fixing them all. The following day I got a call from their front desk. Very professional staff and pleasure to talk to. I'm glad I opted to go with them. I'm usually a Home Depot guy, always going with them because I feel I can go back to them if anything is wrong. I'm glad I made the right choice and had excellent service here!!! read more

I just had ProFloors install a new kitchen floor. They are phenomenal. I found out about the company through a neighbor who worked in the flooring business for more than twenty years. They were her only recommendation. Paul Beaton worked with us, and I would highly recommend him. Paul made excellent recommendations for flooring based on what was already in the house. He was energetic, positive, professional, and responsive. Adrien (sp?) who did the majority of the tear out and install is a true craftsman and a perfectionist. The took up my 90s white tile floor, Mr. Ugly, in less than a day. They then evened out my floor with a cement of some sort. And installed the new floor and on-style new base boards. The whole process took about three days to complete. They cleaned everything up. I felt the dust expected and minimal. I put in a greige Luxury Vinyl Plank. It's beautiful, durable, and waterproof. Perfect for a kitchen. We started throwing away all our kitchen rugs as we don't need to hide Mr. Ugly anymore. I highly recommend them. read more

I work at a company where we hAve to turn units fast. I like how super flexible they are. They come out to measure and give you reasonable pricing. Halyma was our account rep and she did an amazing job from start to finish. They had a little leftover linoleum and put it underneath the kitchen sink. On another occasion, they helped my resident move her couch and dining table and move it back when it was done. Anything that's 3 bedrooms or less they finish it that same day. The entire process was very easy, and the prices were extremely reasonable. We had to demo our existing tile, and carpet so there was a lot of work involved. The team came out on a Saturday and started demo right away and worked very hard the ENTIRE day. They started at 8:30 am and didn't leave until 9:00 pm. They came back first thing Sunday and finished the job! We had the LVT planks installed, and it looks amazing!! They removed the baseboards and put them back in great condition in most places.
