We ended up taking our item somewhere else for repair.... I understand some businesses in S County are Mom and Pop businesses, but if you have phone numbers, please answer them or have a voice mail so customers can leave a message-getting back within 24 hours would be good customer service.

Jimmy made time to meet me at one location and to accompany me to two more nearby locations on the same visit. Together, we checked out several used 6 x 8 mirrors at a nearby gym, looked at a few other mirrors I had in storage, and did a recon trip of the mirrors' final destination. Along the way, Jimmy provided the information that I needed about the correct tools for moving and installing the mirrors myself with a friend. (I should have brought two friends and insisted upon paying them). He also consulted with me, my contractor friend and the building GC about the best way to build secure and attractive frames for the mirrors. After we completed the framing and moved a couple of the mirrors on our own, I wound up asking Jimmy to help procure, move and install the rest of the mirrors onto the frames. Paid a higher price thinking I would get a better product and better support. The roof was done quickly and seems to be a good product, but the support is absolutely terrible... Better off elsewhere...can't recommend them with such poor follow up. FOLLOW UP: After posting this review, they came out and saw the issue and said they would be back to fix it. A few days later a couple guys came out, ripped off the warping shingles and replace them. I will give it a couple days to settle in and post new pictures of the repair. For now I will up their rating to 3 stars, still a little perturbed that it took a negative review to get a response, but if the repair is good, I will be fair and update it again. Found the perfect place and people at Bart's, especially the owner/operator, Tom B. He told me how to measure the room and responded quickly after I sent him a diagram of the two bedrooms we wanted to improve. We ultimately decided to use a nice grade carpet and I visited the showroom, kept a few feet away and considered the options, with Tom's great counsel. The whole process, even in this odd environment, was painless and the communications were great. The installers took their time and did a quality job. I feel we got a fair price, maybe a few bucks more than we might have spent at one of the big home improvement stores, but I'm happy I decided to deal with and get great service from Bart's.
