I questioned him about a window, he said not an issue. The installers came and stated the new awning had to go higher or I would not be able to use a window, so I said okay. Now that new awning is higher than what the estimator stated, it does not block the sun in evenings. Also, they didn't plug the holes from the old awning nor hide the power cable as promised. I attempted to work with the company to get the proper size awning for the height, they would not accommodate me.

Chris and his team were amazing, my siding is 40 years old and the aluminum wrap and additional attention to detail was Perfect. Inside as well, the new casings had to be fit into wainscot on one side and notched around existing wall heater on the other side. As I showed you, there are several parts of the construction that were not done correctly. However, some of them I can live with. The problem that I have is with the 3 parts that I pointed out to you. They need redoing because of improper installation; in the vernacular, they "look screwy." The 3 are: 1. angles of railing on stairs is inconsistent -- looking front-on, the left rail has a pleasant angle while the right rail looks straight. 2. the base, into which each stair post on bottom stair is placed, is skewed, does not follow the line of the railing, the two do not line up properly, and they are not flush on the bottom stair. 3. on one column the top cap is broken Again, while I can "live with" some of the other problems, the cost of $40,000+ for the job merits a relook/redo of these 3 items. I await hearing from you with a plan and timeline. Thanks for your time. End of letter. I paid the bill with the promise that they would return and fix the mistakes.
