Not what I call a good company. Customer service is very condescending. Call to make a payment and paid for the driver to come back...had just left the street 5 minutes prior and never came back. Even paid for the return visit. Left recycles so decided to just put trash and recycle together. Why separate when they fail to pick-up according to schedule. Use to be good and bring barrels up to house. Now it is hit and miss if they will do that. As time has gone by their service level has decreased in quality. Pitiful to say the least. read more

My trash has been sitting on my curb for three days. Much like other reviews, their telephone number is of no help as they have a voicemail indicating an "operational delay" then keep you on hold indefinitely. I emailed them yesterday and have received no response. In fact, when I went back to their site today, the email option had been removed! To add to my frustration, the trucks passed my house three times yesterday without picking up my can -- even idling right in front of it for thirty seconds. Unfortunately, by the time I ran outside, they had already left. This company is trash and I will be switching to a new company as soon as I can get through to them. read more

Having moved to Lakewood from Denver two years ago I was looking for trash service. I called several companies and found the pricing was very high or I never received a call back. I was getting a little desperate when I saw the Pro Disposal truck on my street and thought I'd give them a try. My call was answered by a live person and my trash service began that week. They have never missed a week, never left trash on my driveway, and have never been late. I like the ease of paying online. I would highly recommend them. read more

Lounging on a lazy Friday after Thanksgiving and startled out of bed by the sound to garbage trucks -- CRAP! We forgot to put the trash out! My husband and I scramble out of bed & into clothes hoping against hope we are not too late. We looked out the window and sure enough, the trash has already been picked up -- and there sit all our empty cans next to the house right where we left them last night. Thanks for the wonderful holiday gift Pro Disposal - even though we forgot to move the cans to the curb, your guys emptied them anyway. We've been using Pro Disposal since we moved into our house in 2003. They always bring the cans up to the house. This is not the first time we've forgotten to get the trash out & they've emptied it anyway. In the 10 years we've used them, we have had to call in to customer service a couple times - always friendly and responsive. Once we thought we forgot to pay our bill, they happily took a credit card over the phone so we avoided late fees - then when we double paid because it was on auto-bill pay through our bank, they sent us a check refunding the additional payment. We recommend Pro Disposal to everyone. read more

I have always had excellent service....but I just got a letter today, 9/22/14 that they are no longer doing recycling as of October 1st. Talk about moving back into the dark ages. I am so bummed out. Well...I certainly don't want trash service without recycling. Epic Fail in 2014. Shame on them....and jeesh, could you have given me more than a 2 week notice after 7 years of being a customer? Horrific. read more

Haven't received a pick-up for 3 of the last 4 weeks. I called today and was assured that we would be picked up today (Lindsey)...nothing! It's 9pm now, so it looks fairly hopeless. We didn't get picked up last week either, so the trash is piling up; and, it's not just me, all of my neighbors with Pro Disposal are effected. Please get your act together! I've been a pay-by-the-year customer for close to 10 years and they were good, until the last few months! If this is the price of progress for the company, they really need to re-evaluate. When my time paid is over, it's time for a new trash company! If you're looking for a trash company, I'd advise you to look elsewhere --- Pro Disposal is now officially horrible! read more

Pro disposal is the worst trash company in Colorado. They have not picked up my trash 3 times so far this month. You call and they say was it out by 7. I live in WHEAT ridge they have never been here at 7in the morning ever. They try to say you didn't have it out. I put my trash out the night before. They have a new driver that can't do the job. They won't give you your Oney back. I got some old lady all she could say was out by 7. That is just the law that says you can't pick it up before 7. They are the worst read more

I'm very upset that I can't get in touch with anyone at their office. Message said if they missed you on regular pick up day they will get it the next day. I don't feel comfortable with this at all. I can't reach anyone at all. This is not like them. If they need drivers I have plenty of applications to send them. read more

Looks like I'm not the only one disappointed with Pro Disposal. Service definitely has gotten worse the last year. I sent 2 emails because the wait time on the phone was ridiculous and received no response. Had no choice but to wait 45 minutes on hold. I was paid up through November and I told her I no longer wanted their service. She said I would be charged a $25 cancellation fee even though my paid trash service has expired. The only fee I recall was an administrative fee if I cancelled early and required a refund. This fee did not apply to cancellations at the end of the payment period. I told the young lady that I refused to pay the cancellation fee. We'll see where it goes from here. read more

IF YOU WANT ANY SORT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! If there were a minus category, I would use it. They do not pick up trash, do not honor their commitment to their customers, do not answer phones without at least a 20 minute wait (and sometimes more than 30 minutes), and are generally very bad at what they claim to do. My garbage has not been picked up and it is a regular occurrence. My regular day is supposedly Thursday and today is Monday. They tell you to leave your garbage out and it will be picked up the next day. Not so. Today they told me it will not be picked up until next Thursday. I have called 11 times, emailed 3 times (NO ANSWER) and have had no one who will do anything more than say "I'm sorry". In the meantime, the maggots have taken over the can. I would use another company, but I do not trust them to refund my prepaid amount. read more

Re-read my review and wanted to edit -- service hasn't been perfect, but really great other than the one missed pickup. Should have added that they did end up getting our trash that week on a re-scheduled pickup. Yeah, they're not perfect, and you may get a missed pickup every once in awhile (or more often, depending on who you get) but I do like how there are people there who do care about doing a good job. Never got that kind of treatment from Waste Management, and Pro Disposal's prices are one of the best if not the best deals you can get. I also like how they will pick up ALL of our trash, including the 20+ big boxes of tree clippings when we do our landscaping, without complaint. Overall, I'm glad I switched from Waste Management to Pro Disposal. read more

Great trash service and price. However, customer service department is always mobbed. Huge long wait to reach them by phone.

We love pro disposal! We have used them for two years and they are cheap, friendly, and bring your cans back to your house! Their customer service is fantastic and we love our trash men!! We recommend them to everyone!! read more

This place is the best of the best for garbage service. I have used other services before and this place takes the cake for both price and service. I love that they bring your cans back up to the top of the driveway. It is something so simple yet it sets them apart from other trash collectors. Our usual collector is consitent and friendly. I also love how they don't constantly adjust their rates and have the auto-pay function. read more

I have used Pro Disposal for several years (at least 8). I have been pleased with their service and the employees with whom I have come in contact. The only real complaint is that, fairly frequently, they leave the trash cans in the drive (off to the side, but still in front of the garage door). It is aggravating when I get home from work to leave the car idling while I get out to move the cans so I can get in the garage. As far as disposal companies are concerned, they are one of the better ones. read more

Yeah, the only reason I am giving Pro Disposal 2 stars instead of 1 is that the trash pick-up was very good. The CUSTOMER service on the other hand is completely lousy. I'll try not to bore you with the details, but basically the cust service reps are unhelpful seemingly on purpose. If you talk to 3 people you will be 4 different stories. I have been trying to get a refund back from service that ended in the end of March - it is now May 12. They keep saying a refund is coming, but cannot tell me the amount or where it was mailed to. I need this information because I moved recently and need to know where it was mailed to. Finally, I talked to Vanessa today who gave the same song and dance, and refused to transfer me to a manager. She was very unhelpful, as are most of the customer service reps over there. Additionally on May 9, I could not even get through to them as either the line was busy or the wait was longer than 20 minutes. This company really needs to get a clue when it comes to customer service. Thanks for nothing Pro Disposal. I am moving on. read more

I had been a customer of not so Pro Disposal for many years, I received a notice that they were changing the pickup day from Monday to Friday in the middle of a 4 months agreement.. This did not work for our schedule as weekends are yard work and general house cleanup and who wants that around for a week. I called and cancelled for this reason and was informed that I would receive a refund for 2 months as we had prepaid for 4 months. I waited for the refund and after 2 emails to the company I received a check for less that one month refund (6 weeks later) and was told that they had charged a $20 processing fee for canceling. I spoke to several customer service reps and the office manager and was told that they were not going to refund the processing fee. WOW read more

2 weeks in a row. No trash pick up. Losing a customer because you can't do THE ONLY JOB YOU HAVE!! Pick up trash. That's it. How hard is it! read more

I have had Pro disposal about 3 years. Have had 8 -10 missed pickups - both trash and recycling. Each time, the gal at the company says she checked their routes slips and the driver had marked my trash / recycle picked up. Forged documents. Their most recent bill was for a 40% increase. When I called to ask about it, they said it was a new computer system / biller and the price had not gone up. I paid the regular amount and about 3 weeks later, got a bill for the difference. So I had to call again and get that cleared up. I am glad I read these reviews, and see that a $20 early cancellation fee would be charged, so I am suffering with them for the 3 months I have prepaid. I will be getting another company in 3 months. My brother works there best company ever!!!! I just love it I don't have to clean for shit.

I am very disappointed with Pro Disposal and their service today. I have previously raved to neighbors how great they were and today I am taking it back. I had thought I had put a credit card on file for payments (apparently I hadn't) so when my trash was not picked up last week I checked online and discovered I hadn't. So I paid what the website said was owed on Monday and made sure my credit card was on there for future payments. Today when my trash was not picked up (usually before 8 am) I called customer service and spoke to Sheena. She stated that I was past due on my account (which I had paid Monday) and that I needed to pay $35 fee to reinstate my account, plus the next two billing cycles to get services. Nowhere on the website did this mention that or flag to me that I needed to call and speak to someone or pay these additional payments. Okay, I concede the $35 but thought the 2 billing cycles was a bit extreme but ok. However, when I was told if I wanted my trash picked up today (which hadn't been picked up in 2 weeks now and stinks horribly) I would have to pay another $50. I feel like that is highway robbery when I had paid in good faith Monday with no indication there would be a problem with trash pickup. Meanwhile, I asked to speak to Sheena's manager who Sheena says is not available to talk but that she backs her 100%. I still wanted to speak to the manager so Sheena goes away and comes back and says her manager agrees with her and nothing changed. I said I wanted to speak to the manager not have messages relayed. She said her manager was not available to talk (yet she obviously had time for her employee, just not a customer) and sent an email to her. I am still waiting for a call back and am wondering why a pickup for trash would be an extra $50 fee for a go back when I paid on Monday and there was no indication all was not right in the world of trash pickup. Every other company I have ever dealt with would either flag your account and state you have to call for re-instatement or would list fees and dates of pickup. Their website let them down and I feel like they expect me to pay the cost. Brenda read more

We have been with Pro Disposal for many years and have been happy with them until recently. Now, however, when they miss a trash day and we report it, we have to put up with an extremely rude office clerk who doesn't seem inclined to fix the issue. It used to be that when the company missed a trash pickup, we would call and they would offer either a credit or a special pickup. They offer neither now. Customer service has declined to the point that we'll have to switch companies. read more

We have had Pro Disposal for 15 years. They are great and pick up everything. Just make sure your trash and recycles are on different sides of your front yard. My only complaint is that I wish they didn't THROW the trash bins up the driveway. My bins have all cracked in various places from this. read more

I've been a customer since 2006. I was accustomed to the service I signed up for back then. Lately I've noticed that my trash cans are moved from the edge of my driveway and left in the street. I choose them because they claim to be "The guys that take your cans back to the house". Today half of my cans were in the street and half were still in the drive not emptied. I'll be calling Monday to cancel service and find a new company after the poor service and many bad reviews that I just read with similar complaints. read more

Terrible service in the past year or so. I'd been with them for 12 years or so and everything had been great until then. Was being charged for recycling when, apparently, they don't offer that service anymore. Asked for a refund for that and was given $20 or so in refund, but now it seems like I had all of my services cancelled, as my trash has not been picked up in two weeks. It's a mess and calling them is worse than trying to call the IRS. read more

We have had this as our personal trash service for a over a year now and are completely satisfied. We had a slight hiccup with their recycling service and understanding that it was not included but their customer service quickly cleared that up with just a quick phone call. They are always early on our pick-up day and always bring our cans up closer to our home which always helps on a windy day! read more

They constantly leave the cans IN THE DRIVEWAY blocking the ability to get in and out of your driveway and garage. This is the most annoying thing ever - just leave it by the curb if you're going to move it some place ridiculous and stupid. I have called to complain MULTIPLE times and they tell me they'll 'put in a note for the driver' but this does nothing. The driver must have at least 10 notes from me but doesn't matter. For a couple of weeks, they'll stop and then they just go right back to putting it in the driveway like complete idiots. read more

WORST-service, but stuck because we are in an HOA...Our trash pick up is on Tuesday and I immediately called back and left a message that they missed our and it still sits out here on friday...They only care about the $$$ and not you as a client...Pick another trash company people!!! read more

Stay away!!! They continually raise prices and when I told them I wouldn't pay the increase they continued billing me and are saying that I owe them money even though I have no recurring billing and I didn't put out trash. Pro-Disposal in Centennial, CO is AGAIN....sitting for an hour in our neighborhood, in Centennial, CO, with the engines running, pumping out carbon monoxide, which floats into our houses and pollutes the air! I've complained about their irresponsible behavior....both to the drivers and to Pro-Disposal, but they just move the truck down the road....they don't seem to care, and they refuse to turn off the trucks! BOYCOTT Pro-Disposal!!! read more

I've been a customer of Pro Disposal for about nine years, and have received excellent service and I have recommended this company to many other people. But lately their service seems to have gone downhill. I've had at least 3 to 4 times where they have not brought my trash up to the house like they're supposed to do, and I've had to call them and they do OK for a while every time I call but yesterday they not only didn't bring it up to the house they left it partly in my neighbors yard and I had to wheel it through the grass. I noticed they did not bring any of my neighbors trash cans up to their houses either, I don't know if my other neighbors complained but I certainly did and I'm considering canceling my service with them if they don't start doing what they're supposed to do. read more

They make me so happy after using Waste Management that I want to leave cookies for them every trash day. No hidden fees, they take your empty trash cans back up to your house, and they managed to get through the construction in front of my house that Waste Management never could seem to (seriously, WM didn't pick up my recycling for 2 bloody months!). I love this company. read more

The trash guys are good but the recycling SUCKS! I have been a customer with them only a few months and I prepaid 1 years' service. The recycling has been missed a couple of times. The last time they didn't show up I called them at 1pm the next day. The only way I could then get my recycling picked up was to pay them $35.00 even though they were the ones that simply never showed up in the first place!!!! So they gave me a $6.00 credit for the inconvenience then charged me $35.00. Guess what? They didn't show up Monday either and talking to their Cust Serv. they refuse to credit back my full fee....I am canceling service ASAP. The icing on the cake?! When you do cancel and they have been prepaid for a year, they charge yet another fee of $20.00 for inconveniencing them because they have to issue a refund. Forget this company!!!! read more

My trash pickup is scheduled for Wednesday morning. It is now Friday morning, and my trash is still by the curb. I have called and called and called these people to pick up my trash, with repeated assurances from them about picking it up by the end of the day. They even asked me to take my trash back in and they'll pick it up next week during the regularly scheduled pickup. They used to be a great service, but their service has tanked. Oh, and calling customer service about an issue, plan to wait about 15 minutes on hold. I would not recommend them to anyone anymore. In fact, I plan to cancel my service with them over this lousy service. read more

I see  Pro Disposal has been sold. I just went to my online bill-pay and put in the new address and account number. I notice they no longer offer an email contact option, they no longer bring the garbage cans back to the house and the wait time on their customer service phone is painfully long. The competitive price, good service and easy accessibility they initially offered are now all gone. Big business has reared its ugly head and as usual we consumers pay the price with cost cutting moves. If there was a viable alternative I'd choose it. read more

I've been with Prodisposal for more than a year for trash and recycle pick-up. They bring my trash cans to the top of my driveway and they always secure the lids. The price is very competitive. The customer service is good and my driver is so nice. They also have a high limit for the amount of trash they will take which is great in the summer and fall if you have a lot of lawn bags. I would recommend these guys to anyone. read more

We are frustrated by the service we receive. Today I went outside to retrieve a delivery and four of our five trash cans were IN THE STREET! I know the trash people don't have to deliver the cans to the front of the house anymore, but to leave them in the street is ridiculous. Those trash cans were a driving hazard, and we live on a moderately busy street. If someone hadn't been paying attention, those trash cans being in the street might have caused an accident. Started service 4/2018, ended service 4/2019-PERMANENTLY! Wow, all was great then last pick up day mr. cranky shows up whom we had never seen before. I garden so we occasionally have heavy bags of dirt that we thin into small bags that are easy to lift, never a problem plus we tip on a regular basis. This grumpy dude was not big enough to pick up squat & complained about the dirt. Why now & he said he would not take our trash, no warning, nada plus he called the office. Told him if they now don't take dirt to cancel our service. So our trash was left at the street so I called to figure this out. Well, surprise, they are no longer pro disposal & call themselves waste connections. She did not care about me or retaining a customer so told her to cancel. I wanted to talk to a supervisor & got the line that one would call. Now 3 days later & no call. So whoever bought them dumped all the good employees & now run it like WM. Avoid them now!! They don't care!! Should be fun trying to get a refund which she did not discuss. They will probably try to keep that. She said NOTHING about any penalty if we cancel & there better not be since they legally failed to notify their customers that the Company was being sold. Sold to a company that does NOT care!! read more

Skip them and go elsewhere! Had them for years - service is off and on. They missed a pick up again and refused to credit so I finally canceled service and was charged a $20 fee. Outrageous!!!!
