Pro Disposal used to be great, but they're terrible these days and they're not providing the service that their customers have paid for. My weekly pickup is scheduled for Thursday, and they've missed that day at least 8 times so far this year. Normally they pickup on Friday when they miss the Thursday pickup, but I've had a couple of occasions where they just haven't picked up the trash at all (like this week). Unfortunately you can't reach anyone by phone at this company these days (you used to be able to call and talk to a person). When you call now you just get a recording claiming that their service is delayed due to "high volume" or something like that. You can't leave a message, you can't reach a person, and you can no longer e-mail them about issues (not that this helps - it took them two weeks to blow off the last missed service e-mail I sent them). These folks have you pay by the year, and they currently owe me service through October (it's August 2nd right now). But, if I don't start receiving the service I paid for pretty soon, I'm going to need to contract with someone else. Again, these guys were great for about 12 years. Something has changed at Pro Disposal, and their service is nothing short of horrendous these days. Do as you choose, but I'd choose something else. read more

I was with pro disposal for many years. What I liked about them the most was that they collected the trash in the back of my house, abutting the alley way. This is where trash should be picked up, not in your front yard. For years everything was ok. There were a few occasions that they did not collect it even though I paid. I didn't take the time to complain. Recently they succeeded in rubbing me the wrong way. I want to qualify this complaint by admitting, to their benefit, that I was on many occasions late in paying. This was not because of lack of funds, but because of my extremely busy life style. When I was late they wouldn't collect the trash. I would immediately contact them and pay up. On many occasions, my roommate would remind me. I never complained about a late fee or anything. When late, it was only for a few days, and, there was never any payment made with insufficient funds. They were always paid in full. Over a week ago I contacted them and complained about the trash not being picked up. The woman I talked to said they were having problems and were doing late collections, but I shouldn't have had an interruption in service. When I told her there was interruption, she said she would look into it. I made a payment and she assured me of collection the next day. The fact is, they had not collected the trash for 3 weeks. The next day came and went with no trash removal. I didn't realize this until the weekend. Today, was my collection day and I noticed at 1 PM it was still there with the beginning of a fowl odor. I called them. After the standard 15 to 20 minutes on hold, a woman responded. I told her that this was the fifth week of no trash service. Her immediate response was, "did you put it in the front." No. She immediately dug in and was ready to go toe to toe with me. "You are suppose to, we sent out notice to your area on such and such a date that on July something or other it had to be picked up in the front." I told her I didn't know that. "Well we sent you notice." "We were there to collect it and even took a picture of the front of your house." My anger took over so that I couldn't explain that I didn't get the notice and I had developed over the years a rather forceful habit of putting my refuse in the alley. I demanded a refund. She made no attempt whatsoever to amicably settle the issue. She said "so, you want a refund and terminate service." I acknowledged and had to throw the last punch by threatening a law suit if she didn't refund my last payment. For some reason, she told me to wait and put me on hold. I waited about 5 minutes and hung up. It would seem to me that any reasonable person, let alone a "pro" would have figured it out and thought that someone should call this guy and tell him to put the trash in the front. Instead they took pictures of the front of my house. Finally, for your information, I checked out 2 of their competitors and for the same service the "pro's" were rendering, they were going to perform trash collection for slightly over one-half what I was paying. Horrible "service" since take over my another company. My Friday "service" is usually picked up after 6 pm or not until Sat. They just picked up my large container and left bags they will need to come back and pick up. Have been with Pro for over 18 years with NO problem!s until last few months. I just payed annually in April and distrust that they can even refund my account appropriately or would change as soon as possible. Rest of trash needs to be picked up asap, Sat! Called to find out why my trash cans were not being placed at the top of the driveway, was told they no longer offer that service. As I pay annually I asked what will happen to the extra money I paid on my service and they stated the will not refund the extra payment for the can service, and kept asking me if i wanted to change to the new service, just kept avoiding the topic of the breach of contract. Bought by another company or not, existing contracts need to be honored or have any extra funds paid for the service refunede. So basically they dropped a service offered for a bit extra a month and ran off with the cash. read more

I've been on hold for nearly 25 minutes...unacceptable. I've been trying to speak to someone for the last few weeks and always give up at the 35 minute mark. They haven't picked up our garbage for over a year. YEAR! Not sure why they would think I'm paying for their "services" :-( My only hope in writing this review is to get ahold of someone. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with this company.... I should start by saying that Waste Management is horrific, from their billing system to their customer service. I paid $70 every time I had a late payment which was frequently, every month, because they would tell me I was current but they would leave off the late fee so even through you are supposed to pay 1/4ly, I was paying monthly for my late fee which was late every month? I know, brain damage and I finally called pro Disposal and about fainted when they said $350 for the YEAR which includes the PURCHASE of my trash can. They come every week and ALWAYS walk my cans back up to their spot next to my house....WHAT!?!? I can't remember a time in recent history that I have been so impressed with the VALUE of service that I receive from a company.... Great Job! read more

I had no complaints at all about Pro Disposal until last month. Previously our driver was courteous and returned our can to the garage doors as expected. We even left him a holiday gift last December. Then something changed 4 weeks ago and we have been missed at least 3 of those 4 weeks (the other week we were traveling so no way to know if we were missed). When I have called each time we were missed they say the driver's notes say that he picked up our house. This is WRONG. This morning on my 3rd call I asked the customer service gal how their drivers are held accountable and she couldn't offer anything besides 'we put notes in the file'. They mailed me a renewal bill for Oct. - Jan. service with a rate increase and at this point I do NOT plan to renew, let alone pay more for NO service. It's as if they WANT to lose the service on our street. It feels like they're trying to lose us as customers or at least give up on our route. I've had Pro Disposal for a few years now after switching from a terrible company. I am so impressed with their timeliness and courtesy. They always bring my cans back up to the garage and their billing is straightforward and fair. Today was the kicker, prompting my review (long delayed, I might add). I took down my daughter's trampoline and left all the metal pieces in bags organized out front. They took it all, even though I was worried it was too much of a load for regular service. Lot's of 1 star reviews that reflect exactly how we are feeling after more than 4 years. We referred our neighbors, and there are several of us conveniently in a row due to our recommendations, but there appears to be no desire to retain us as a customer. I have put up with their ownership changes and management changes, and their new strict customer service (lack of) guidelines for more than a year, and I've waited it out due to our long time relationship. I have put up with missed pickups, radical changes in pickup times without notice, them firing or losing our best driver, slow recovery after storms, and plenty more, but I get no return consideration from them. We had a funeral and electronic processing that caused our payment & cancelled trash pickup to cross by 1 day. They insist on the $35 fee to come back, and I had to listen to their explanation of how their system works 4 times, as if I didn't understand the first time. Nobody has taken the time to listen to our story. I have news for you "UN" professional disposal! Trash pick-up is a two-way street. I just recommended Pro Disposal to a friend and used Google to find their number. I was surprised to see all the negative reviews so I figured I'd write a positive one. We've been using Pro Disposal for just over 5 years and have had zero problems. They missed us once when I moved the cans to the other side of the driveway. I called, they apologized, made sure we could wait until the following week and credited my account. They have never not picked up all of our trash. One time we forgot to put the trash out, they checked the cans on the side of the house and emptied the ones that had trash in them. Now we keep the cans in the back yard and they just leave a note on the door if we forget to put trash out. read more

Find another company for your disposal needs. Pro Disposal is full of incompetent employees. We have been using them for trash service since June of 2018 and twice they've "forgotten" to pick up our trash. I also recently tried to rent a roll off dumpster from them. I called on Tues., Nov. 13, 2018, to reserve a dumpster that I told him must be delivered Fri., Nov. 16. Person on the phone confirmed availability, took my information, charged my credit card $274.50. Friday comes, no dumpster arrives. They claim to have no record of the reservation even though they already charged my card! Although they issued a refund, they wouldn't make it right by delivering the dumpster on the weekend I needed it. Go elsewhere. read more

Been with them since 2011 and never had an issue until 5 weeks ago. Things have gone to the dumpster, literally. They have missed either the trash or recycling 4 out of 5 of the past weeks. I call, spend at least 30 minutes on hold waiting to talk to someone only to be told that they will take care of it and ensure it doesn't happen again. Nope, fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on me. Happened again yesterday. I'm calling to cancel, I'm tired of hauling the trash back and forth to the curb and wasting my time listing to their recorded music and "our philosophy and goal is 100% customer satisfaction." I moved from Lakewood, CO in May. I had been a Pro Disposal customer for almost 8 years. I called about about 2 weeks before the move to inform them I needed to cancel my account. I pointed out I should have a credit coming and was assured I did and I would be sent a check. New address confirmed and off to Henderson, NV. I have called 2 times since my move and have been told I would receive a check. As of today 08/20/2019 Nothing from Pro. My last call was answered by automation and I was put on hold, after 25 minutes I hung up. This place is not professional at all. I have had Pro Disposal trash service for over 10 years. Just in the last 60 days nothing but problems since the company got bought out by another company but still goes by Pro Disposal trash. My trash was getting picked up by 7am which was great now my trash gets picked at 6pm cause they DO NOT have a driver on my street route. I was told by customer service that customers that had our trash cans returned to the garage area would continue to get our trash cans returned to our designated area, my area is less than 25 feet from the curb for my trash cans to be returned where they go. They have NOT BEEN RETURNED like I was told they would be. This new company is very UNORGANIZED, as a customer that has had this trash service for over 10 years I'm NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE. So unless this company corrects the problems my neighbors and I have been having we may not be with them for very long. So anyone considering this trash company DONT DO IT, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE for trash service. They also keep raising the price every year NO DISCOUNTS for continued customers and I pay for the year of service and now its NOT WORTH IT. ITS HORRIBLE, and all I get is apology after apology so their apologies are NOT CORRECTING THE ROUTE PROBLEM and NOT RETURNING TRASH CANS WHERE THEY GO FOR LOYAL CUSTOMERS LIKE MYSELF AND MY NEIGHBORS. I watch these guys every time on my security cameras and I call customer service every week I get a very BAD LACK OF COMMUNICATION cause I have to call in every week about my trash cans NOT BEING RETURNED WHERE THEY GO as I was told they would be. I'm gonna find out what trash service my other neighbor has cause their trash gets picked up by 10am, I see everything on my security cameras. Horrible company all around!! We have about 40 people in our neighborhood that are just about fed up with this company and getting ready to change trash companies! They used to be a good company and return your cans up by your house and now they don't even empty all your cans!! Very poor service. Pro Disposal didn't pick up my trash last week due to weather (which I understand) but they still charged me even though they provided no service last week. What a rip off. They never put the lids back on the trash cans after pickup so they keep blowing away. I called customer service but this continues to be a problem and they don't do anything about it. It is unfair they earn 1 Star when after 6 weeks of service they have picked up our trash on our assigned day exactly zero times. Either they are 100% inept or 100% lied about servicing our area, but took our money. I have been told every single time we called that we were accidentally put on the wrong route. The collection guys are great. They even bring your empty trash cans back up the driveway when they are emptied. They are very polite and personable. HOWEVER the company appears to be poorly ran and not capable of keeping up with their growth. They continue to miss collection days and are impossible to contact. read more

Been a customer for 5 years. Recently they stopped the great services they were doing. They used to dump the containers and put them back in the driveway for you. Now they do not. I received a letter that they were recently purchased by Waste Connections. The letter states they will only do one container now and want to charge for extra containers. They used to be the best but now that they have been purchased by Waste connections I will be leaving them. No more unlimited yard trash either. It's sad when a great company gets purchased by another and they get rid of all the perks that kept people loyal to that company. read more

I have been a customer for quite some time with this company at both our main residence and our rental property. While their rates are low, my recent service experience is causing me to look elsewhere. I have been trying for over a month to get a new trash can. Here is the timeline: Middle of May - I called inquiring about a new trash can, since the one I have now is unusable. I was told to send pictures, along with my address, and they would have an operations manager contact me. May 22 - Driver won't pick up my trash because of state of the trash can. May 24 - I send pictures of the can and the note the driver left stating why they won't take my trash anymore from this can. May 30- I called asking about my request for a new trash can, since I haven't heard anything from the operations manager. Meanwhile, the trash is piling up in my garage. The gal I spoke with assured me the operations manager would contact me shortly and also mentioned that I could leave the garbage out in bags and they would take it. June 9 - I had to through the trash in my can, take it out and bag it all up, so you guys would pick it up. I called again to the office since I hadn't heard anything from the operations manager about getting a new can. I was assured he would contact me soon. June 12 - I get a call from ProDisposal saying they won't take my trash bags because they are too heavy. UGGH! I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE TRASH BAGS. I want a trash can and have been trying to get one from your company for a month. June 19 - I call again asking when I can expect to hear from the operations manager. I explained the situation to a nice lady and she assured me they could get me a new can. She took down my number and told me someone would call me back within an hour. Later that day, another gal called me back saying that I needed to take more pictures and send them in and an operations manager would get in contact with me, UGGH! This puts me back exactly where I was a month ago. I have already sent pictures. I have waited more than 4 weeks for an operations manager to get in contact with me. Now I have to go through the process again. I don't usually write complaints about businesses, but this has been the worst customer experience of my life. read more

I have used pro disposal services for 14 years. I had recommended them to my mother as well, and she used them for her trash removal. They missed the trash pick up on my house this week, and I did not realize it until after 5 PM when they were closed. I wanted to ensure that I was not accidentally removed from their trash pick up route, and so I called and left a message. They called me at 8:02 AM, immediately when they opened the next day. They offered to send a driver for my trash or to credit me for the week that was missed. Each week when they collect the trash they place my trashcan back up next to my garage rather than leaving it on the street. My mother had called for a pick up of a large item one time, an old sliding glass door. She thought it would take several men to do the job but one man came out and removed the item with no problem. She was impressed with how polite and professional he was. I live in a neighborhood where we have several choices for trash removal companies. I'm extremely impressed with the service, professionalism, and customer service of pro disposal. I highly recommend pro disposal to anyone that has an option of trash removal companies. read more

We and 8 neighbors have been with Pro Disposal for years. This year they were bought out by Waste Connections and it has be a terrible transition experience. First, without notice they stopped returning our containers to the garage which had been a real plus. Second, they just skipped a week of service without notice. Each week I have one small trash can and being proactive I raked my backyard leaves and put out my 7 bags of leaves. They had the nerve to show up a day late and then leave 3 of the bags. Apparently I was over my limit. I am done with this company like all my neighbors. Any other company would be better than this company. They no longer know the definition of customer service. These guys use to be amazing until they were purchased by some shady people who basically cancelled anyone's old contracts with out notice (even if you signed up for auto renewal), never sent a notification letter about this, until two months past my renewaL date (they continued pick up my trash for two months without any real agreement) and then they decided to send me a letter saying I owed them for late fees for each month, a deactivation fee, reactivation fee and they would not honor the billing amount I agreed to that was to be auto renewed every year at the same price. When I called the ladies were so rude, wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor but said one would call me back this never happened... All in all, this company was AMAZING but new ownership took away the particular services that made this company great but new ownership are greedy pieces of trash that should be taken out to the curb... If you look online there are 100's of individuals that experienced this, their voicing their experience and all basically describe the same crappy experience I had once I found out what they were doing... A few days ago I was ready to write an awful review and attach 1 star... BUT oh how things can change when you get to talk to the right person! I had cancelled Pro Disposal about a year ago after being with them since 2012 - not because of bad service but due to other circumstances. Although I did very much miss Paul our trach/recycle collector when he left in 2016, he was the best! I used to pay yearly and last July when that year was up I decided to do a 3 month service then stopped receiving pick up. I think there was a miscommunication of some kind and they had continued service for an additional month - following the 3 month paid service - unbeknownst to me. I continued to receive mail from them, thinking it was promotional material I would just toss it. Little did I know, that additional month was not only accruing late fees but a "formal cancellation" had never been confirmed on their end, so the last year's charges were also on the bill. I finally opened one of their letters and realized this - hundreds of dollars?! No, I don't think so! But they did come for an additional month so fair enough, I'd be willing to pay that. I called and Jennifer helped me understand this - but she needed a late fee to close out my account - now that I didn't feel right about - I was under the impression that I HAD cancelled. I asked to speak to a manager and she reiterated that they would say the same. But I left a message nonetheless - no call back. Called again a week later - left a message - no call back. Called again - got put in a voicemail abyss - gave up that day. Getting frustrated I decided, Yelp here I come - before posting I read a few of the 1 star comments and began to realize that a gentlemen by the name of Rick D. was replying to some of the complaints on Yelp. Hmmmm light bulb, I'll call ONE last time and ask for him directly - I could tell he cared and was willing to help others, so why not me? It worked! Was connected with in minutes, explained my whole story to which he explained a recent computer and phone system change - hence the "lost" voicemails and agreed that just the final month payment would do. I am very much appreciative to Rick D. - also to Alice who called back almost immediately to receive my payment. I must say I am not in the market for a trash/recycle service as of now but if I decide to again in the future I will certainly be calling Pro Disposal! read more

Not what I call a good company. Customer service is very condescending. Call to make a payment and paid for the driver to come back...had just left the street 5 minutes prior and never came back. Even paid for the return visit. Left recycles so decided to just put trash and recycle together. Why separate when they fail to pick-up according to schedule. Use to be good and bring barrels up to house. Now it is hit and miss if they will do that. As time has gone by their service level has decreased in quality. Pitiful to say the least. read more

My trash has been sitting on my curb for three days. Much like other reviews, their telephone number is of no help as they have a voicemail indicating an "operational delay" then keep you on hold indefinitely. I emailed them yesterday and have received no response. In fact, when I went back to their site today, the email option had been removed! To add to my frustration, the trucks passed my house three times yesterday without picking up my can -- even idling right in front of it for thirty seconds. Haven't received a pick-up for 3 of the last 4 weeks. I called today and was assured that we would be picked up today (Lindsey)...nothing! It's 9pm now, so it looks fairly hopeless. We didn't get picked up last week either, so the trash is piling up; and, it's not just me, all of my neighbors with Pro Disposal are effected. Please get your act together! I've been a pay-by-the-year customer for close to 10 years and they were good, until the last few months! If this is the price of progress for the company, they really need to re-evaluate.
