They have one job...and they consistently fail to do it. At least once a month, they miss our trash and/or our recycling. We call and they try to say it wasn't out by 7am. We put it out the night before, so they just lie and make up excuses. Sometimes they say it's a new driver. Sometimes they say they are still out on the route and will come get it later...maybe half the time they say that, they actually come. I am so sick of calling my trash company! I want to pay for the service and forget about it. We switched to Pro Disposal from American Disposal and they were just as bad if not worse. We're paying significantly more for Waste Management now, but it will be worth the extra money if they actually provide the service we are paying them for. read more

I've had Pro Disposal for years & never had any problems. But with the merger have nothing but. For 2 weeks now 3 bags of leaves have been left. I called yesterday asking why my trash had not been picked up the day before and after waiting almost an hour on hold they said they would send someone to get my missed pickup. This company has gone from great as pro disposal to the worst trash company I have ever experienced. One trash container and two bags on the ground. Once a year I rake 30 bags of leaves off of my lawn. By there new standards it will take 15 weeks to get rid of my leaf bags. I only do this once a year and shouldn't be a big deal. They've forgotten they are in the trash business I could go on and on but don't want to waste anymore time. They refused to take my trash and five of my neighbors last week. PS. For almost a year now I have been using pro disposal because they are better then waste management! But last week just like every other week I put out the recycling trashcan but with my regular trash in it as every other week since I started my contract with ProDisposal, and for the first time they didn't pick it up I called and got a voice message stating that they would be late because of certain circumstances, and then when I finally got to speak to a person she said they don't pick up recycling trash cans! So why have they been doing it every other week since I started over a year ago with them and I was told they would pick up the trash no matter what trashcan it was in from the very beginning which has been true until this past week! Every other week I switch out the trash cans in order to not have one stink too much and it's never been a problem until now! Now since my trash can has been sitting in the sun for a week waiting on them to pick it up I have to switch out the hot trash for them to hopefully pick it up today which is my usual pick up day read more

Was a Pro Disposal customer for 15 years until August 2019. Always had superb service, nice employees, good customer service and appreciated how they returned the trash cans to the top of the driveway. Starting July 2019, they missed our pickup 3X and when I called, the message said they'd pick it up the next day. Why?? What about doing your job right and getting it done when you are supposed to?! Not to mention, Pro Disposal has always been one of the most pricey trash service companies so when you pay more, you expect much better. When I called for an explanation the snotty rep starts arguing with me and when I tell her to cancel the service and demand a refund she tells me there will be a $20 "admin. fee". Just moved into Littleton a month ago and set up service based on recommendation. They were AWFUL. They NEVER picked up the trash on the scheduled date. Each time a phone call was made to let them know and each time they apologized and said they would take care of it. Each time, they failed for 3 weeks in a row. I was happy with Prodisposal. Very disappointed and currently looking for a new company. Prodisposal was the most expensive waste disposal company, but they returned your garbage cans to house, which was nice, it prevented garbage cans from being blown all over the street. They no longer do that, they didn't inform customers, and when I called in I sat on hold for over 30 mins, it took 3 attempts calling in to get someone to answer. I have been with Pro Disposal for three years and I agree with the negative comments cause their all TRUE! 1. They arrive at different times on the day of pick -up or the next day without explanation. 2. They leave the trash can in the street or on the sidewalk with the lid open on days it rains. 3. I was on hold for 17 minutes and then disconnected. 4. They want to charge you $25 dollars to cancel for poor service. 5. The drivers are rude and damage containers without free replacement. 6. I am a Pro Disposal customer in Aurora CO for about 4 years now. It is really a shame that the bad reviews given above are allowed. All I can say is they must be shills for competitor service providers as Pro Disposal has always answered the phone or returned a call very quickly the few times I've called. One call was when I missed getting my recycle out by about 15 minutes. They answered the call and went on to contact the driver and had him circle back to pick up. As well as I respect the fact that the trucks are staffed with a single person. Not 2 or even 3 as I saw on an American Disposal truck this morning. The American truck has 1 guy driving and 2 guys jumping off to get the auto-lifted cans and bring them to the truck for the truck to lift and empty them. These guys just walk slow, stop to pull up their pants a few times, and simply push the cans back towards the customers curb. . Pro Disposal driver exits the truck, runs to the cans, empties them, and then carries them back to the area of the house where they are kept. And apparently knows how to use a belt because he doesn't have to stop 2 or 3 times to pull up his pants. Go Disposal Pros! You are doing a great job. Thank you, David T Aurora CO. read more

I used Pro Disposal for a few years and service was good. However, they changed my pick up date from Tuesday to Friday. I do most of my clean up on the weekend so not a good change. The most irritating part was that they didn't tell me until the week of the change. I just paid for the next quarter. When I called to cancel the lady was a total jerk telling me I'd have to pay a penalty. Not sure why I would pay a penalty since the next quarter was starting and they are the ones who changed the service at the last minute. Well it's been over a month and my money has not been refunded. Totally inexcusable. Legally I'm under no obligation to accept a change in service and yet the company refuses to return my money in full in a reasonable period of time. By the way, I now have service from a less expensive trash company with it picked up on Tuesday and they really bring the trash cans back to the garage not just half way. read more

I have been a Pro Disposal customer since I first bought my house, back in 2009. And I had been a very content Pro Disposal customer up until the last few weeks. Usually, they pick up my trash and recycling like clockwork (though I wish they and many other companies would give us weekly recycling pick up rather than bi-weekly, because honestly my household generates more recycling per week than trash). There have been a few times when my recycling seemed to be passed over and I had to wait until the next pick-up. Usually it has not been too overwhelming and my life is so busy I barely take notice. However, I currently have a huge pile of recycling that has been sitting outside since May 26th. According to my -calendar- that they sent me in the mail, that was my pick-up day. My trash was picked up, but either the recycling was forgotten or passed over. I emailed them this past week just to be -sure- that they would pick it up this Friday, June 10th (which is the next pick-up day according to my calender), or even pick it up earlier since my pile is getting large and making my yard look like crap. The response email I got was not the nice customer service I was expecting. I was told that it would cost me an extra $25 if I wanted them to come out and do a special pick-up, and otherwise I needed to wait until my next pick-up day on the 17th. My calender does not say the 17th is a pick-up day, but even if it is, that means that 3rd would also have been a pick-up day, but alas... my recycling still sits. I know it's not a holiday issue, either, because I have not moved the recycling from the curb since May. It's been there, waiting for pick-up... And as of yesterday (the 10th) my recycling AND now my trash have still not been picked-up. Anyone have a good recommendation for a new trash provider? Apparently my complaining has made them stop providing me any service at all. Talk about great customer service... EDIT: July of 2012. I've been with EDS since cancelling with Pro Disposal. Have had not one single problem. Last year, I talked to someone at Pro Disposal about cancelling and having my payment refunded (I was one month into a three-month period I had already paid for). However, after several weeks I still had not seen a check. I sent an email complaint about not getting the refund, and again never received a response. It's been nearly a year and they never refunded my money. I am tired of dealing with their "customer service," so I decided not to call and continue to beg for my money. This is a prepaid service. Yet you are sending out a past due invoice claiming "over 90 days" due and at $10 more than I used to pay. Are you actually including a late fee with a prepaid service? When payment is not made your services are no longer warranted. Considering you didn't pick up my garbage, and never returned my phone calls, I would have been a fool not to switch. I switched service in June of 2016. Take your late bill with its $10 late fee and shove it in the garbage the other guys pick up. Warning to all who have used them or are considering it, they are a prepaid service as are all garbage collection companies. We've been with Pro Disposal from the beginning--back in the 90s. When we lived in Lakewood, the driver always put our trash cans back up by the house like their advertising says they do, but since we've lived in Littleton, he just won't do it. If I call and complain, he'll do it the next time and then not again. I've called several times over the past few years and finally gave up. It's only about 20 feet from alley to where the cans go but he won't do it. So he leaves the cans in the alley and they get blown around and end up rolling around out there. Annoying. The other obnoxious thing is how much their prices have gone up and up and up and never an explanation. For a while there, every single bill was higher than the previous and they never ever offered a reason (I imagine gas prices, or that they noticed their competitors were charging more--cynical, but maybe true). The recycle guy is great, always brings the container up by the house after emptying. He's very friendly, too. I'd give him five stars by himself. We'll try another company and hope for the best. Maybe they won't put the cans back, but we're not getting that anyway, and at least they don't advertise that they do. I liked the idea of supporting a small local company, but for one thing, they're not so small anymore. I'll try another local--no WM for me. One thing I do like about Pro Disposal is they will take all the branches and stuff we put out. Apparently, some companies are picky about that. I hope to find something better . . . read more

They continually do not pick up our trash at our rental property and charge us for it. Since I am not there, my tenants advise me of their lack of pick up, and by then, it is too late because of their 48 hour policy. Another time, I scheduled an overload pick up with them, they charged me for it, and did not pick it up. The city came and picked it up, and I had to pay both the city and pro disposal. Pro disposal was not willing to bend on their policy nor work with me in any way, even though they had proof that it was not picked up by them (via pictures before and after sent to me by the city) and stood by their drivers were the ones who picked it up. It's disappointing because I use to use them at my primary address, and will no longer do so. As for my rental property, once I get around to it, I will probably use another company read more

Used to be great with no issues and brought our trash cans up off the street now they are just thrown around if they even decide to pick it up, don't bother calling either they just blame you and say you didn't have your trash out on time when they don't even come till 1 in the afternoon, yes please let me keep my trash don't take it! On the top right of the letter there is an added header for Waste Connections. Can't say this will be a positive change. Today is recycle day. The neighborhood I live in is funky. I'm 20 and my neighbors two doors down is 20 south. I was taking my dogs for a walk and I noticed that my house was skipped. They always do exactly as they promise: They haul the trash, take the recycling (every other week), and return the cans next to the garage. I believe the price is fair since I have done some comparison shopping. It's not necessarily cheap, but if you pay for a full year in advance you get 1 month free. That was the discount that made them cheaper than their competitors. read more

After using this company for many years, I have seen it go downhill substantially. They have reverted from a customer service based organization to a company with no interest at all in retaining their customers. The culture from management on down is terrible. They could care less. I will update if anything changes, but we have had this service for a couple months now and I have no complaints. They are cheaper than Waste Management to boot! They have taken all extra trash I have had with no issues. Some people on here have complained that they leave recycling for no good reason at all, which sounds pretty bogus to me. They only leave it if it is not recycling pick up week (which we have done because we lost track of whether or not it was recycling week). To negative reviewers: I don't see why anyone would give a horrible review; it's a pretty simple service and it's highly unlikely the same house would experience consistent issues. They pick up your trash once a week and your recycling every other week. Pro Disposal, I have sent numerous messages and made even more phone calls to collect our refund. This has been going on for weeks with no resolution. We have been promised our refund for nearly a month and all we have had are lies. The most recent lies are about the pick-up of the bins. Your people insisted that we did not have the bins out on the right day and time. Wrong. They were there and I have photos (with time stamps) of your people loading them in the truck. Telling us that the bins were picked up a week later is stupid! I guess this is how you play with your customers. I was told that I would get a call back from Teresa and that has not occured. At this point, today I will start posting my messages to Pro Disposal on Yelp and other customer resources. This review is long over due. I've been a customer for more than a decade and very pleased with the consistent good service. I'm finally writing a review b/c of how they handled a recent customer service issue. (Skipped a recycle pick up). I called and received a return call within the hour. Very responsive and courteous. I tip the trash & recycle hard working employee generously once a year to acknowledge my appreciation and a token of thanks for making my life easier. I really appreciate that they pick up my recycle (I have more of that than trash) and don't require it to be separated out. The rates don't increase every year either! THANK YOU PRODISPOSAL! We have had service with Pro Disposal for several years and it was great until last year they began charging for services that they said were included, ( we also pay for recycle which has never been used) then our tenants moved out in August and we had 5 scraps of carpet and got an extra charge, I called and paid that bill and advised that the house will be vacant and we will advise when we have new tenants, so no trash has been picked up ( we hired a roll off dumpster for remodel) now I'm told we still owe money when we paid a year in advance. So not only are we being charged for the new year but additional payment is due as well. This company didn't pick up the trash when they were supposed to. She told me sorry we won't have anyone in the area to help so you'll have to wait until next pick-up day. I've been a customer for 10 years and the service is excellent. At times in the summer we've had really large piles of weeds, branches and yard waste, which we bundled and stacked on top of our 6 full cans. Sometimes we've left a tip for loads like that, attached to a branch. I was working in they yard one time when our Pro guy came up and he greeted me cheerfully and got to work, before he even saw the tip envelope. His name was Cruz. I said sorry about the load, and he said with a smile that's what he was there for! He was also great about putting the cans back where I keep them on the side of the garage, but even when the guys just put them up by the garage door (which I think is their standard practice) that's better then leaving them at the curb. Some of the older reviews on here are pretty bad, so it seems Pro must be getting better, or maybe I'm just lucky. I recently tried them again and this time the price quoted was the price I had on a flyer left at my home. I have had service with them for since the begining of the year and could not be happier. In the past when i have started service with a new company I could count on the first pickup not happening without my calling customer service and reminding them that my trash was supposed to be picked up. So far so good. They rescued our family after the small company we were using very suddenly went out of business. The people are very friendly but hard to get ahold of at times. I can tell you that I've had some run-ins with some very nasty people who are in the waste management business.
