If there was a negative I would select that! We have been with Pro for a while, however this past month they have not picked up 3xs! Called each time and had to hold for over an hour. One representative lied to us saying no manager was on duty but one would call us back the next day, no problem... except I didn't keep our phone next to us and guess who called us! we missed the call so had to wait another 1.5 hrs to leave another message and wait 2hrs for a return call. No reason why they aren't picking up ours when they pick up our neighbors... literally the guy next door! We have never been so disappointed in a service we pay for! It sounds like I'm not the only one seeing changes for the worse recently. In a nutshell, my bill is around 20% higher than when I signed up, and my service is much worse. It started a few months back when they charged my card twice for my bill. Instead of giving me a refund for the $90 on my card, they took two months to mail me a check. I asked if they could somehow make up for the inconvenience and I was ignored. Since then, it's steadily gone downhill. One of the perks of the service used to be that they brought my cans back to my garage door. The recycling truck stopped doing this about a month ago, and today I watched my usual trash driver set the can back on the curb for the first time. It fell backward onto the sidewalk and flopped open. He looked down at it, shrugged, and got into the truck. I keep a clean can and I've given this driver a good tip every Christmas for several years. Clearly something has changed at Pro Disposal - employees are disgruntled and corners are being cut with service. It's a pain to switch companies, but it sounds like it's time. Update 8/2 - I have called three times to cancel and each time waited 15+ minutes on hold before being hung up on. They just charged my card $99 for service through October, but I'll be surprised if I ever see any of that money back. And now there's even a story on Fox31 about their terrible service. But I've already signed up for a new company - for all I care, the Pro truck can keep coming, but they won't be collecting anything. Second Update 8/2 - Finally got through on my 4th call, after holding for 30 minutes. Back then, I would have rated them w/stars, I even passed their name to quite a few people requesting recommendations. Reliable pick ups around the same time each week; brought cans back to garage/house; friendly drivers; can't recall ever missing service. Whenever I have to write a negative review, I take some time to try to just relay the story without my value judgement. This is unfortunately one of those cases... I moved into a house in Arvada in Jun of 2018, and due to family crisis we had to sell too soon in March 2019. During this time, Pro Disposal was our waste management company. The service when it was running was okay, and I like the returning the can to the house service they offer. We had one issue on auto-payment from their simple pay site that resulted in a missed payment. After fixing that, I had to call the company multiple times so they would come pick up the trash again even though they had been paid. Annoying, but not a big deal. Fast forward to two weeks ago. We are closing on selling the house, and have a huge pile of move out trash on the curb, including a couch and loveseat. I call Pro Disposal to set up an account closeout, and pickup. They say no problem, and with credits the whole charge comes out to a little over a hundred bucks. Awesome! The day before closing they come get the trash, but leave the couch and loveseat. I call them, and they claim I did not pay to have them removed. I had to send them a picture of the couch and loveseat separate from the pic I sent of the trash pile to get the quote in the first place. So yeah, I call BS that I didn't tell them, they just F'd up adding it. Looking at the bill, they clearly did not charge me for the couch pick up, as it was another 100 bucks, so I pay for it (No longer a good deal) and they assure me it will get picked up on Thursday early before closing. Regardless of all the drama now it is closing day and the relator for the buyers is freaking out, and up my butt about the couch still being there. I call Pro Disposal and they tell me that they tried to pick it up but the couch was on the lawn, and they are not allowed to walk on the property so they had to leave it. I show them the picture of it on the driveway right at the curb. Literally standing there looking at it. It was snowing too, no tracks of the couch having been moved so I could not have moved it from the yard and tree 50 feet away. Obviously, the pickup crew is lying. No idea why. They want me to pay again for another pick up attempt!!! I ask for my money back, they keep 35$ of the additional $105 to haul off the couch since they "did make an attempt". So I paid $70 to be lied too. Awesome. Had to hire another company at a premium of $205 to immediately haul the couch off that day. This company caused me sooo much hassle, time, and money $$ and they never owned it, or cleaned it up. Seriously the big fat bomb, zero stars. DON'T work with this company! read more

Their response is usually: "our drivers are still on the route, we cannot get ahold of them. Please call us on Monday if it doesn't get picked up". My neighbors LOVE this company and so I just signed up with them for regular residential trash service. I haven't even had my first pickup and I'm already in love with the company. Trash service is good, but the recycling service is a mess. Customer service is always kind when you call and actually get to talk to someone, but in reality it gets little done to resolve the problems. The recycling service hasn't picked up our stuff on schedule in over 3-4 months. They did once after missing it, then also missed the reschedule and finally picked it up 3 days later. I call, I email; they say the guy is supposed to call in every time he passes our house, but he intentionally skips our GIANT BLUE RECYCLING BIN and ProDisposal does nothing about it. :-( *Added a star to my because the manager contacted me and said he hopes to solve this issue. Hmmm, where to even start. Well...who would have thought it would be so difficult to get your garbage picked up? We've been a customer of Pro Disposal for 3 weeks and thus far have been missed 2 times for pickup, which has resulted in 6 phone calls to beg for them to come pick up our trash and recycling. On each of those calls, we have been GUARANTEED that our trash would be picked up that day. Nope, didn't happen. Honestly, I don't understand how these folks are in business. I've even called to ask to speak to Rick D, the General Manager...no call back. Shocker. I would like to note a positive about the business. Their customer service phone folks are very polite and that should be noted. However, I can't imagine they will be around long with the amount of complaints that have to be rolling in. We've all been in those shoes before, its not fun. From my point of view, this appears to be a problem beyond their control. I lived in Denver County for 13 years before moving to the burbs (where we now have choices for trash) and NOT ONCE in those 13 years did I have a problem with trash pickup. Denver's service (which btw is offered by the Denver County Gov) was impeccable. I find that interesting because people always complain about Gov services being terrible compared to privatized business and having options. Worst customer service I have ever received- no stars is a better option- after over 10 years office still mailing bill to same house number...but the "South" version- we paid yearly. I didn't get a bill allegedly sent in June- finally received bill 7/19- dated 7/1, postmarked 7/5 "current" charges and they cut off our service without even a phone call this past Friday. When I called- female called me a liar 3 dif times- 1. That the statement I was looking at didn't say "current charges" her reply "no it doesn't " 2. Re bill to wrong address for over 10 years "I sent it to the address you gave us" think about it ditz, if I gave you "South ".... then how do your guys manage to pick up our trash at our correct address. Going to find a new company based on today's letter. Pro-Disposal merged in Feb. 2018 boosting that the new company is now the largest waste company. You all should take a read on their website. I have been a customer for over a decade, expensive yes but very reliable. Today's letter started with, after thorough discussion and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to make the following changes effective August, 26, 2019. Every year the price increases, unfortunately this time I paid my bill 5 days prior to this letter by money order so will be stuck since I doubt I will get my money back. My service is cut in half, they may or may not make it on your regular pickup day, (check the website for that excuse), no trash cans will be brought back up to the house. They send this letter out 10 days prior to the new rules, who does that? Ever since the merger you could see this company going slowly downhill but I will no longer be paying more for half the service. The are using the basic global warming/carbon footprint phrase but that begs the question, where the hell are we supposed to put the garbage we collect? We all have to pay the price for your "safest and most reliable waste & recycling service possible. After reading most of the reviews, I might have to take a day off work just to sit on hold and maybe or maybe not cancel my service. To Pro Disposal in the event you read these reviews. Us natives understand that everyone on the planet is moving her causing EVERYTHING to increase in price for less. Just because you can does not mean you should or that it is the right thing to do. I do believe you need to now change your website mission, about us and the rest of the tripe since none of it applies any longer. Ever since this company was bought out I have had problems. Don't bring my trashcan to my garage anymore nor do they pick up trash when I barley snows. Saying that it was extreme weather. Not to mention that I have had to chase a drive down and ask why my trash was not picked up only to be told that I was not on his route even thou he picked up my 4 neighbors. They are supposed to pickup trash every week and recycling every other and they have been missing my trash and recycling. Received a voicemail stating new policy of one large container and two bags. I called back (another 30+ minute wait) and the person said they sent out a letter stating new policy. I didn't get a letter and neither did my neighbor. She canceled service last week and I canceled today. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! There are much better ones out there. UPDATE: After many years, I am going with a different company. My regular driver quit just about the same time as they were acquired by waste connections. We switched to Pro because the company we had been using went down hill to where you couldn't trust the trash to be picked up week after week and had heard good things about Pro Disposal. They started great and got lazier and lazier. Leaving bags, leaving the containers in the gutter. Well flash to the future, they started skipping weeks, acting like we had too much trash, too heavy, too this, too that.. Customer service is a nightmare to contact. Got a letter today that they are reducing the amount of trash they will take per household. Needless to say we are bailing to a different company that appreciates the people that pay the bills for them. Run far, run fast. read more

3 weeks in a row my trash was not picked up on my pickup day. Waited 40 minutes on hold the first week and finally hung up. Last week I got ahold of someone and they picked up my trash the next day. I watched from in the house as they broke my bin lifting it, but not emptying it. The guy got out, emptied the small trash can and dropped a plastic bag of trash in the middle of the street and left. I called immediately and was told by the CSR that I would receive a call immediately as soon as the dispatch got hold of the driver. Waited three hours, called back and the next CSR knew nothing about the problem. I had to start over. She insisted she would get back to me right away. No call back. I called this morning and the third CSR told me I had to buy a new bin. She would not answer the question, "If you break my bin, should I have to pay to replace it?" I asked what if they broke it once a month, is it still on me - no answer. She insisted someone had left me a voicemail and let me know I had to buy a new bin. I have no voicemail from Pro Disposal at any time. Asked for a supervisor and said I would wait on the line. Was put into a voicemail - no call back. Total lack of responsiveness or customer service. Going back to Eagle Waste Disposal, who actually cared and did a great job of customer service. We should have never switched. read more

I've had Pro disposal for about 8 1/2 years and have been pretty happy, up until this past year. Apparently they have a hard time keeping drivers, so who tends to suffer? The customer. It's also weird that will put all of my recycling all together, and some weeks they empty it all, and some weeks they don't. They've asked me if I have both bins marked, and I have one marked but the other is not; however, the trash can is on the other side of the drive way, so im not sure why they just decide to not empty it sometimes. The reason I'm writing this now is because the service has gone downhill fast. They didn't pick up at all in my neighborhood last Thursday. Apparently it was because of the wether, which is fine, it happens. I received an automated call on Monday (4 days AFTER service is supposed to run) saying that they missed pick up and they would pick up on my regularly scheduled day this week. Last week was a recycle pick up, so youd think they'd pick up what they didn't do last week, right? Nope, when I messaged them through Facebook they told me that they have to stay on their recycling schedule otherwise it throws everything off. Gosh, it would have been nice to know that before I hauled a ton of recycling to my curb yesterday. So now I get to haul it all back in, to haul it out and cross my fingers that they'll actually pick up this week. Also, my neighbors have tons of recycling so apparently I'm not the only one assuming they'd pick up what they didn't get to last week. Cool. When asked if they'd credit me for not picking up last week, they just told me they send out a call if they can't service that day. I think it's time to start shipping around. read more

Somehow this is supposed to be acceptable even though they discontinued my service for my payment being 1 day late. Their own recorded message says they're experiencing heavy volume and to leave it on the curb, and that they'll get to it the next day....NOT! Then the smug rep on the phone insinuates they actually came by on Thursday and my garbage wasn't out! And no trucks around until my next pick up day. Extremely disappointed in this company since the ownership change. I cancelled my service 2 weeks before my bill was due, yet I was still charged for the upcoming quarter. When I requested the credit I was told it would process after our final pick up. I was shocked when the credit finally came through and I was shorted $25, I have reached out a number of times and I have received NO RESPONSE on why I was penalized when the charge should have never happened. Disappointing to say the least. It is a shame to see what happened to a formerly great company who had excellent customer service for 15+ years to lose all of those qualities and from what I have seen in my neighborhood a lot of customers. read more

Update- my recycling wasn't picked up Tuesday (it only comes once every other week), I called and was on hold for literally an hour before I finally hung up assuming no one was ever going to answer and both the website and the hold message said they were running a day late due to volume. WELL, my recycling wasn't picked up at all and it rained so I was pulling all of my wet recycling out of the gutter... I think I got everything, but I'm definitely irritated with the lack of service and accountability. You can't leave a message or reach anyone. We had issues with the service when we first started with trash not being picked up for two months. I would recommend if you choose this company to avoid the annual billing... part of the issue is that after the initial lack of service in the beginning I didn't get a bill where I was supposed to have credit for a year and then the credit wasn't accurate but they couldn't do anything about it. Also they say they will put your trash can back up your driveway, but that essentially never happens. read more

Hi. After spending about 4 hours trying to pay my bill, months ago, I paid for a year of service. I put my recycling out 3 weeks ago and it wasn't taken. Pulled it back in. Tomorrow is recycling day. I'll put it out again. I put my trash out this morning when I saw the truck driving my way. It was skipped. Great. I have 3 weeks worth of recycling and now my trash is getting skipped too. We have used Pro Disposal for years and had always been pleased with their service until the last few months. I have been trying to call them to cancel their service but I sit on hold forever and you can't even leave a message. Their is no email information to contact them either. Luckily my payment was due on 7/31 so it least I can stop service by not paying. I just wanted to explain why I was cancelling and to give them the opportunity to fix the issue. For 2 years at my old address I had no issues, but I recently moved and transferred service to omynew house. I have paid for their service at this address for 4 weeks now, and they have not even once picked up the trash on time. Week 1: failed to pick it up entirely. I called the next day, they finally came 4 days later. Week 2. Refused to come at all due to a tiny amount of snow on the ground. No notice, no rescheduling, no credit. Week 3: I called at 2 pm, they said "he's running late". Trash was finally picked up at 4:30pm Week 4: This one's a doozy! Garbage was not collected. I called that night at 5, but they were already closed. Called again the next morning, they said "he was running late and couldn't get to it, but we'll get it today". They called back at 2 saying "we're not going to get it today, but definitely Monday." I called Monday about 3:45. They said "Didn't they get it Friday? You're not on the logs for today, but we'll get you tomorrow." She claimed the manager was "out of town" so there was no one I could speak to to get my trash picked up. Called Tuesday around noon to ask if I was on the logs for that day, they said I was. Finally, at about 2:45 they picked up my trash, five days late. They did not drag my can up my driveway like they used to. I, obviously, cancelled my service with them. We'll see how much of a fight it is to get my refund for the prepaid, but unused portion of the contract. read more
