So I'm walking through the mall and I see this woman with fierce eyebrows.... that's how this story begins and how I end up at Priyanka's.... Location: off of Security Blvd. in the same center as the Panera. Go in the opposite direction and BAM! there it is on the end. Ambience: a little kitschy, to the left side were seating; to the right was a "store." From clothing to accessories to lollipops. I must admit it was a little odd. Service: extraordinary. The owner, Priyanka, is kind and I have been going to her for years because her customer service transcends our cultural differences and she instills that same attitude in her staff. What I truly like about this location it does not matter which staff member you go to for threading all their skills are on point. You lean back in chair and they begin their work. Came in from out of town and needed my eyebrows done. I usually get them threaded but had previously got them waxed because of availability...BIG mistake! However, Priyanka fixed that! Just by the texture and shape of my brows, she immediately knew that they had been mistreated. She was sooo GENTLE compared to other threading experiences that I've had. She was amazing! My brows got the best attention. She left them looking thick, full and arched. She asked me what I wanted and made suggestions before even started. Such a shame I can't come to her regularly. I had a threader for five years in Dallas that was amazing. We moved here last month due to a job transfer and held off on my eyebrows due to fear of a new threader. I yelped this place and decided to take a chance. Not disappointed at all. Great quality work and the price is amazing. I paid 30.00 in Dallas. 12.00 here. The only difference I experienced is no massage after the threading or no fill ins. The quality is absolutely amazing. She kept the fullness and the arches are on point. I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff is courteous and their work is amazing. It is like a typical eyebrow threading place--you show up with no appointment and wait for someone to be free. I waited about one minute. The price for an eyebrow threading is $12. I was devoted to my old eyebrow place when I lived in PA. In researching where to get my eyebrows done once I moved to MD, I found this place on yelp. It was the closest place to Frederick that met my personal standards for an eyebrow threader. It was definitely worth the 45 minute drive. Genetics dictates I get my eyebrows done at least every 2.5-3 weeks. read more

I'm sooo surprised by the comments below stating the staff is "friendly"! This is not true. Everyone here just cuts my hair and doesn't thread it from the root. I've been going here for over a year now and Barsha is the only one that actually does it right. Even the Priyanka misses so many hairs when I am forced to go to her because my hair has grown out. After I get anything done by her, the next couple days all my hair has grown out. Priyanka and the staff is also very rude to me. Also, not to mention this place is SO expensive. $19 for upper lip and chin... what?! That's crazy. Also expect to pay over $30 if you're getting your upper lip, chin and eyebrows done. Ridiculous!! If it wasn't for Barsha I would give it 1 star. She's the only one that's amazing here. read more

Great service. I went on a Sunday afternoon because I was in the area and had some time to kill and my brows were in need of being cleaned up. It's a nice shop. I actually love some of the products you can buy there and thought I like Priyanka. However, my last experience was the worst ever. My eyebrows were made super thin and short plus I was cut on my eye and lip. She made some excuse and got really smart. I asked if the other young girl would be in anytime she said IDK won't you wait on her. It was the worst customer service EVERRRRRR and I even paid for the crappy service and the something I shouldn't have paid for. Never been back since! Terrible. Worst place!!! I went for my eyebrows, creepy owner priyanka. she had a fight with one of her employee in front of all the customers. Heard that she doesn't pay her employees on time. I waited there for almost 45 minutes thinking at least my eyebrows will be done after all that drama between her and employee, but she took out all her furious/ madness at my eyebrows and ruined it. I think she should put her negative attitude in her pocket at work. If she acts like this to her customers and employees, i am sure this will affect her business and of course her success. Got my eyebrows done for the first time here. Priyanka was nice and not aggressive when threading. Line was long on this particular day that I went, causing some people to go next door and get their brows done at a salon adjacent to this shop. However, she is quick, and her work is of good quality. One session is no more than five minutes, and she gets people out of the door fast. read more

I followed a friend here and was hesitant to get my eyebrows done since it was my first time at this location. (I usually go to Brow Art 23 at Security Mall.) She got her brows and upper lip done and it looked good! Very clean, arched and symmetrical. So I got my brows and upper lip done also and I was pleased with the results. The price was a little bit higher than Brow Art and also, the chair was not comfortable. It doesn't lean back, so you have to slouch down with no back support. I've been going to Priyanka's eyebrow threading for about 7 years now. Priyanka is my go to person to thread my eyebrows. I have had the other girls at the shop thread my brows and was also pleased with their work. I travel from Rockville, MD with no regrets nor disappointments. There have been times when I got my eyebrows done around my area and it never failed for the threader to thin my brows. Priyanka will then has to fix them. I stopped cutting corners and commute to Baltimore. It's worth the drive. Priyanka knows exactly what I like (thick/full brows) and knows how to keep me happy and satisfied. I am orginally from the DMV area, but relocated to Baltimore, MD due to work.. I did not have good experiences with eye brows threading in the Baltimore area so I stopped taking my chances and would wait until I went to visit family in the DMV area. Oh not anymore. Priyanka and her family members are all amazing. If Priyanka is unable to do the service she will accomdate you in any shape of form. She will return to the shop to make you look flawless. The price & service is speedy & amazing. They accept cash or credit. I have been seeing Priyanka for at least 4 years and never have they failed in their service. Again, the entire staff is amazing, but my favorite is Priyanka. She understand my eyebrows. My sister that lives in Rockville now goes to Priyanka. She makes it a priority to visit me and Priyanka once a month :) I even had car trouble last month and Priyanka sent her husband to my rescue for a jump start. I love this place. THIS IS FROM A EMPLOYEE I used to work here, I was fired because the old employee came back. She did not even call me for my last payment. I sent her many messages that I have school fee to pay and things to take care of, so I need my pay, she finally asked to me come and did not pay me my full hours worked. And when I told her that that amount is not what she owes me, she yelled me and took back whatever she gave me. After 3 days I went to talk to her and ask her my pay stub, she did not show me my pay stub and did not even talk to me well. She was like take whatever I am giving you, or you won't get anything at all. when I insisted that I need details of my paystub she was hiding inside acting like a victim and called police saying that I was there to steal money and my boyfriend was threatening her when all we wanted to do was talk. Priyanka is very bad employer, she did not even give tips from card that customer gave to employees and did not allow employees to tell customers that we do not get tips from the card. She is still not paying for my work. And stoll not giving me details of my pay stub. read more

After months of growing out my eyebrows after having one of them thinned out, I turned to yelp. I searched yelp for the best eyebrow shop I could find. I grew out my eyebrows, I refused to have them ruined again. I found Priyanka's and with the great views and being so near to my home, I decided I had to go. I went to Priyanka their were two ladies and they said hello to me while they both threaded someone's eyebrows. I waited for a few minutes, comfortable in the clean and neat space. The lady then did my eyebrows and it was the quickest I ever had them done. I was kind of scared. I looked at my eyebrows in, and I was in awe. My eyebrows were beautiful and I did not realize my eyebrows were capable of looking so good. I was so thankful, I definetly plan to return and make Priyanka's my go to threading. read more
