Not only is she the quickest waxer in the business, but she's guaranteed to strip you clean; no residual hairs left. The facial products and extraction process Kelly uses is phenomenal. In addition, the peppermint foot treatment during your facial is a must. Kelly is a small based business, not a pretentious spa that passes the overhead cost to the customer. I went in for a brow waxing appointment ((that she was able to make happen VERY last minute)) and asked a ton of questions, which she happily and thoroughly answered. I had a broken nail that would not grow back properly, and they fixed it so beautifully that you can't even tell there was ever an issue. Went in on Monday to speak with the nail technician to see what could be done since she informed me that the dip nails last about 3 weeks (well, mine were off by week 1) but she wasn't there. I asked to speak with the manager who also wasn't there but a technician called her on the phone. She understood that at day 6, my nails were coming off...she asked how much did I pay and I informed her $50. She offered to give me a $30 credit and I pay $20 for a new full set. I'm confused because I paid $50 and was told that they would last 3 weeks, but less than a week they were popping off. Now you want me to pay an additional $20...which would make it a $70 service in the end and in a 1 week period...less than the 3 weeks that I was told they would last. I couldn't stay for the service to be done at that time and asked if I could get the $30 credit and come back at a later date. Speaking in their native language...I now see what was told for the technician to do. The technician wrote up the voucher/certificate but it was for $20. I'm not understanding why it went from $30 to $20. I asked the technician why it was $20...she then called the manager back and I informed her that she offered me a $30 credit. I was told no, the $30 credit was if I did them right then and there and If I didn't get it done then the credit would be $20 because when I walk out the door, the value of the service goes down. Huh? Is this a nail salon or car dealership? When does the value of a set of nails go down...if they are done right? If they are done improperly and the nails don't last as long as they were suggested then yes, you didn't give the client the value of service that they paid for...your value goes down. Unacceptable! A waste of money for sure.
