The space itself was basically brand new. It was beautiful and clean. I was most definitely underwhelmed by the food and the drinks. Drinks: The sangria was almost undrinkable. It was so sweet and syrupy. The water was not replenished on the table throughout the event. Coffee was only served with the cake and not with any of the brunch foods. Food: The food was served buffet style and it was just okay.. nothing to write home about. I was especially disappointed by the salmon dish. It was so incredibly greasy that I could not eat eat it (comparable to the amount of grease coming off a slice of pepperoni pizza). I barely touched any of the food that I took from the buffet. There was more than enough of Service: All of the waiters/ bus boys were young men (around the age of 17?). A little shy and inexperienced, but they got the job done. Parking: Insufficient for the amount of people that the room holds. I had to park a few blocks away. read more

I'm a huge fan of the old Annandale diner, and I was very exciting to come to Prive for a private party. The party started at noon and severed buffet brunch, including many breakfast items such as pancakes, sausages, bacon and eggs. Several at us at the table requested coffee to drink with our breakfast. To our SHOCK we were told the coffee was only served with the cake! Huh? The host had paid for an open bar - beer, wine, etc but no coffee?? Someone from our table walked to Annadale Terrace to buy a coffee. We were VERY disappointed to say the least. It really left us all with a bad feeling- that we were denied coffee and tea at a breakfast event. read more

Recommended by a friend for a large family party (80 people). First, the experience of making the arrangements was easy and they certainly seemed like they wanted to assure that we would have a memorable evening. The staff on the night of the event were excellent and friendly. I was a bit concerned that one bartender might not have been enough, but she was excellent. Drinks were great. Food was excellent also. Plenty of room to mingle and dance. DJ Sal was, as usual, fantastic. Kept the crowd moving. And the owner took the time to stop in to see how it was going, the mark of a great owner. Such an important night for my wife and Prive exceeded our expectations. read more

What an amazing venue! Susie, the event planner for Prive, is wonderful and extremely accommodating :) The space is so pretty and gets lots of sunlight from all the windows. The great WiFi system allows for playing your own music, and they provide TVs for displaying pictures, making presentations, or watching the game. The bathrooms were new and clean, and even the drop-ceiling is beautiful. The food there was delicious! The stuffed chicken was to die for, and my guests loved the Steak Romania. Thank you to Susie and all of the staff at Prive for making my son's first birthday amazing and memorable. I hope to plan my next party there! read more

During my search for a venue to have my daughters 1st birthday I went to all the usually Staten Island culprits and was not satisfied with the same old same choices paired with extremely high prices. I was looking for something new and different while staying in my budget and that's when I stumbled upon Prive. It's an extension of Annadale Terrace and It's located right next door where the old Annadale diner used to sit. Upon my first meeting with the Event Planner Susie I knew that I had found the diamond in the rough I was looking for. Susie exuded professionalism and displayed a true caring for my party needs from day one! The menu's she presented us were different and had a upscale feel to them without the hefty price! Susie took us over to see the inside of the venue and it's was classy and elegant but also a place I knew could be transformed into the fun candyONEderland I had envisioned. We booked the party on the spot! The next few months consisted of me making all my plans behind the scenes. Susie was always just a text or call away and had no problem answering any of my concerns. My vendors also reached out to her with questions and she was always such a pleasure. 2 weeks before the big day we met with Susie again and she took her time and went over everything with us (final counts, floor plans, final menu's) and ensured us that she and the staff were ready to show us an amazing affair! To say that's exactly what they showed us is an understatement. It was incredible, seamless and in my opinion a PERFECT day! The staff worked so hard and was there to help me with anything and everything I needed, the bartender kept a cold drink in everyone's hands with a smile and Susie once again was there to supervise and make sure we had everything we needed the whole time. The food was absolutely delicious, presented beautifully and more than enough to keep my Italian family satisfied. My phone has been flooded with calls and texts from family raving about how excellent every detail was executed and when you work so hard for months for that exact outcome it feels amazing! I owe this all to Susie and the incredible staff at Prive! I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for excellence! We chose Prive for our daughters first birthday party and had about 90 people in total. Typically I leave a venue with some annoyance, not Prive. This place was a diamond in the rough. All our guests kept saying how they had no idea it existed and what a great choice it was. Susie and her staff did a phenomenal job with everything. We chose the brunch as our menu option which gave us breakfast and lunch foods. All of which were delicious. The decor and table arrangements were all explained to us and put together nicely. Plenty of room for the kids to run around too. I would highly recommend this place! You won't be disappointed. read more
