Worst experience ever. I paid $1700 for a hybrid battery that was supposed to have a 1-year warranty. The battery died after just one month. Tried calling the mechanic -- he completely ignored me. Wouldn't answer the phone, wouldn't respond to messages, nothing. When I finally managed to talk to him, he acted like he didn't know me and refused to honor the warranty. Super rude, unprofessional, and honestly just shady. This guy is a scammer. Don't waste your money here. Go somewhere else where they actually stand behind their work. He hides in the back and has his workers hold your car hostage. Had to bring the car back because it died from the same problem but they said they were not responsible. I reached out to Majid because after less than 6 months the problem he said he fixed came back. I had paid for a 1 year warranty and asked him to take a look. However, I was informed the shop would be closed for two months. I was not given any other options or referrals to other shops. I also was told I had the warranty agreement, which consisted of two lines at the bottom of my invoice (in my files). I initially had an amazing experience, but the lack of professionalism, short lasting duration of repair, and undependable nature of the shop make me suspect that their repairs may be shoddy and incomplete. The warranties are little more than good faith agreements that are not supported by experience. I would not bring your Prius here, and certainly would not pay extra for the worthless warranties. I will update this as I continue negotiations with him. read more

2010 Prius original problem after it turning off the car has absolutely no power. I need a jumpstart to get it started. After that the car runs like a champ. I might have been able to continue running it like that but I was worried that In the long run it might not be good for the life of the car decided to get it fixed. On the day I was going to take it for diagnostic my catalytic converter is stolen. Now I have one more issue. My exact experience with this place. Drive in because my 2010 Prius is having electrical issues. 1st red flag the shop is inside a bodyshop. 2nd red flag Technician is not there, the people that run the bodyshop "assist" me by getting in contact with owner/technician of repair shop. I have no time to spare and I want the car repaired so I leave it out of desperation. 3rd red flag tech calls me later in the day says it's clearly an electrical problem but he won't be able to get to it for a few days because of issues he's having at home. I tell him not to worry take your time and get back to me when you find the problem. 4th red flag, calls me a few days later says the car is ready. Never gave me a written estimate, never gave me a verbal estimate. Didn't tell me about the repairs he was making until after he made them. When I pick up the car it starts and it no longer dies out. But all the lights on the dash are on and the "check hybrid system" notification is on the dash. I had never seen that problem and the car is running like garbage now. I took the car to the dealer service center and they said that the battery has been tampered with. I gave a extra star because when I called the Prius Center the owner said to bring it back and he can take care of the problem but after all of those red flags I will be staying far away from this place he can keep the money. Also when I asked him for the parts that he replaced he said he had sent it out to the dealership to swap. Under California law any shop you take your car for repair must provide old parts upon request. Also he didn't want to give me an invoice. read more

My hybrid battery decided to bid adieu, along with the end of the year 2021. It's been almost 10yrs since I had bought my Prius C and, unfortunately, I just missed the warranty cut-off. Toyota quoted me at $4K for a brand new battery. So I began sleuthing around to find a better deal. I probably contacted two dozen mechanics and decided to get a refurbished battery. Some places offered lifetime warranties. I was tempted to go with them until I called Prius Center. Majid was so kind to explain to me all the options (and they truly have the best around) and cautioned me against the lifetime warranty places as they don't have a physical location and tend to just suddenly disappear if there are any issues. He was very friendly, calm and not pushy at all. A quick search into the BBB with some of these "too-good-to-be-true" places confirmed this with some angry reviews by upset people. Thankfully I was spared from falling for the trap! After a lot of research, I decided to take my Prius to the Prius Center and boy was I glad that I did. If my review is not proof enough, checkout all the other 5-star reviews. Majid and Alan were both present, flexible, friendly, attended to my car right away and even dropped me off to my office (10miles away!) and dropped off my car later that evening with no extra charge requested. My car is running perfectly so far. They told me to call them right away if there are any future issues. I really can't recommend this place enough, I've told all my Prius owner friends and I hope you take yours here too. A+ service! read more

This service center is amazing! While I was in San Diego, Majid towed my Prius to his shop in LA and replaced my hybrid battery. After a week or so I picked it up and drove it back to SD. After about a week the dashboard lit up like Christmas again and as I purchased a year warranty, I contacted him with this problem. Majid picked up my car and drove it back to LA, diagnosed the problem, and contacted me when the service was done. I had to rent a car for that week. When I drove back to LA, Majid picked me up from my house to drive me to his shop. Our 2007 Prius' hybrid battery was shot, and after speaking with Majid about different repair options, it was clear that he had deep knowledge of hybrid engineering, and battery power systems and electronics in particular. We opted for an upgraded lithium ion hybrid battery. As our car was displaying the red triangle of death, Majid came to our house, picked up our Prius, fixed it, and drove it back to our place. Majid is a magic worker & truly an artist of the finest caliber in his line of work. Within a week he did me two jobs - replacing my hybrid battery and repairing my dashboard that had a defunct combination meter (read: no lights on the dash!) - at a rate that was 1/3 of what my old shop was asking to do the same job (they wanted over $3000 for both parts). On top of that he offered same day service when I was out of a functioning car and no other shop would see me until a week ahead, and to speak to Majid's character simply as a man & a mechanic he took away from a family emergency when he had a loved one in the hospital just to keep his word to me & complete the second job at our agreed upon time even when I offered to reschedule.
