Really appreciate the gesture of them showing up and working in masks from the inspection to the repair. Very professional to work with, answered all my questions (I had a ton) and did not make me feel as though I was bothering them at all. Received a call back the very next day from Rochelle after leaving a online support email, they took me on as a new customer with no problems. Inspection times and actual repair dates were pushed back but due to COVID it can't be helped. I really appreciate the fact that they squeezed us in ASAP, that was so awesome. We had 2 other companies come and look at our system, one of them being Jimmy's, he came out 3 months ago, charged up my system, put in stop leak and stated he would come back when it got warm again (he also charged me close to $1k), I called, emailed and even texted Jimmy directly, I understand that you're busy but common courtesy would dictate some kind of correspondence, especially after promising to come back. After hearing no word back we were getting really worried that we were going to be taken for a ride with replacing the whole system as Jimmy had indicated. The second company that came out didn't even put gauges on the system, just visually looked at the compressor outside and said it had to be replaced, didn't even go upstairs to look at the evaporator and air handler units. They gave us a ridiculous quote but still came in $2k LOWER than Jimmy's, but I felt like the A/C tech didn't know much after asking questions like, what should the pressures be or how big is this system and do we need to go bigger? There were other questions, it's not worth getting into. A service tech with Precision came out (sorry I don't remember your name!) did a very thorough inspection of everything, took pictures and told me that it would need to be replaced because a lot of the parts were obsolete and it would be like bandaid'ing a bullet wound. Rochelle got me the quote in 1 day and scheduled the appointment. Their quote came in less than the other two companies and I just had a better feeling with this company as everyone I spoke to so far seemed knowledgeable and confident in what they were doing. Jason, Jerald and Ed came out and worked so fast and efficiently as a team. I was shocked at how fast they got the old system out, including a huge air handler from the attic!! The new compressor/condenser unit was a lot bigger than the last unit and had to be taken around the house and across the grass but Jerald didn't complain once, even though he had to move a bunch of stuff to get access! Their attention to detail was astonishing, their communication while working was something to behold, constantly updating each other, working together to clear my lines and other parts of the stop leak that Jimmy's A/C company used which would've messed up the new system. They went as far as to sweep my driveway because the old air handler was coming apart and the insulation was everywhere, that small gesture meant everything to me as I'm really OCD when it comes to cleaning. Jerald also swept up where the old unit was, I offered but he insisted. When all was said and done, Jason took the time and explained everything to me that was to be expected with the new system, showed me the warranty papers and answered my million and one questions with a smile. I had a contract with another A/C company for servicing my system but after seeing Jason's thoroughness and commitment to doing things the right way, I cancelled and signed up with them! Can't thank you guys enough! read more

Look no further! Absolutely as good as it gets! When I asked my Home Inspector (who helped me through 3 condo purchase experiences and is now a friend) about purchasing split A/C, he said he uses Pristine Air Conditioning. I then took estimates from 6 companies, including Pristine. Pricing varied by a range of $6k, from ~ $2k less than Pristine, to $4k more! I chose Pristine (because I know my home inspector's high standards). And I bought top-of-the-line Mitsubishi equipment. I'm SO GLAD I did both! The Pristine team was professional (and friendly), skilled, knowledgeable, precise, efficient, and worked very well together. The install team Manager, Billy, visited to evaluate the site, phoned before arriving (the day of install), and was attention-to-detail about all work. All team members knew their jobs, the company's high standards, and were helpful. For example, Danny provided instructions on how to keep the new system clean and in top condition, and how to set ceiling fans in reverse to optimize efficiency. Efforts were made to minimize or entirely avoid cutting drywall. Clean-up was thoroughly done. In total, the Pristine team was here only about 5 hours! The result? The entire system, through 3 rooms and the lanai, looks fantastic! Work was very professionally and expeditiously done! State-of-the-art equipment provides efficient cooling. I COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED! Sometimes in life, you just KNOW you've made the right decision! I feel like that about choosing Pristine Air Conditioning. Just FYI, I plan on having Pristine do the semi-annual preventative maintenance. (Already talked with them about it.) So a big MAHALO to you, Pristine A/C! YOU ROCK! You're just the BEST! I don't normally write reviews, but Pristine AC went above and beyond my expectations when installing the split AC unit in my apartment. When calling vendors, I learned quickly that the development I live in was infamous for having AC plumbing issues created by the developer. I called 3 vendors before Pristine AC and got either a crazy high quote or a refusal to install in my area (Kapolei Mehana built 2016). Billy came out and inspected our unit, confirmed that there was issues with the plumbing, and went as far as re-pressurizing the plumbing to get an idea where the leak may be. After attempting to work with the developer to fix the issue and getting denied, I turned back to Pristine AC and they were willing to work with us on this issue. Rochelle from the office kept me posted about the schedule and documents needed. Fast forward to today, Billy was at the house early waiting for his guys to get the job started. During the installation, Billy was able to find a couple holes near the mounting points. He made the repair and got the units installed and tested pressures. Fortunately for us, that fixed everything!! Installations came out clean and working great! The only issue that I had (if i had to find one) with Pristine AC was not being able to call the office and get a person on the phone consistently. They did return my call when they could. They were able to accommodate my situation and give advice. They went above and beyond my expectations. If you are looking for a company for your AC needs, I would give Pristine AC a call. read more

Our split AC was short cycling and didn't cool. The person that installed for us was no longer available. We decided to go with Pristine because of the good reviews they got and also because they are among few that can repair Helcyon. We were extremely happy with them. They are very knowledgeable and knew exactly what they were doing. They are also punctual and showed up even earlier than their appointment. They immediately identified the problem, sent us an email listing what needs to be done and the price. They even helped us to figure out that we were still under warranty. They got the parts, treated them, showed up on time, installed them, and checked the system to make sure that it was working perfectly. Everything, from calling to their office to their technician coming to our place and fixing the unit was done at utmost skill, efficiency and professionalism. We could not be happier. They definitely have our recommendation. read more

Pristine Air Conditioning is excellent- the best in the business! I would highly recommend to call them first. Jason puts in the extra effort to make sure things are done correctly, on time, and finished properly. He brings in great electricians too. When I was looking at having a spilt AC unit installed, I googled different businesses. I had one company come out and said they couldn't do the installation- (it was basically too much extra work to be done to get the AC spilt unit installed). Just by google chance, I called Pristine Air next, the response I received from Jason during his assessment visit was "Yes, we can do it" and he immediately had it all figured out how to run an extra line here and there. Also, I never do Yelp posts, but this company deserves it! Going above and beyond- that's Pristine Air Conditioning. I'm definitely referring this company to ALL my friends. read more

Another great review for Pristine. The Pristine folks installed my new Trane system a little over a month ago and it suddenly failed to come on a few days ago. It had thrown some error codes (Like everything these days, it's computerized) Turns out the outside breaker box failed so the system wasn't getting proper voltage. That's not part of the new system because it is basically part of the house wiring. Billy came out and diagnosed the problem right away and replaced the box free of charge. So their warranty included an item they did not even originally install. Can't beat that! Service like this is why they are so busy all the time. If you have to wait for them to get to you, particularly during the busy season, it's well worth the wait! read more

READ if. you are a Kumo Cloud user. Knowledgeable with (free) Mitsubishi split wireless adapter update program. After submitting a request on the Mitsubishi website for an adapter upgrade three times, my only responses were to schedule an estimate for a new system. None had any idea of the update. All promised to get back to me. None did. Meanwhile, I lost all smart home control of my air conditioning. So, I sent emails directly to three diamond installers. Pristine is the only company that had any idea what I was talking about. An appointment was set, and my problem solved. Communication with the office was wonderful. Technician was prompt. read more

I recently had to call on an AC repair company for assistance and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. The technician arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the issue with my AC unit. They were able to fix the problem efficiently and effectively, and explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. Not only was the repair completed quickly, but the technician was also respectful, courteous and professional throughout the entire process. Overall, I would highly recommend this AC repair company to anyone in need of reliable, efficient and professional service." read more

Pristine Air Conditioning is the best Air Conditioning company I have worked with in Hawaii. I have very sophisticated home and needed experts to install four AC units. a 5-TON system and 3 ductless systems. After talking with five Air Conditioning companies, I selected Pristine Air Conditioning for my large home. I relied a lot on the YELP ratings on Pristine to help me qualify AC companies. Jayson was awesome, but Billy and crew 5 STARS all the way. Shall I just say, Billy is a super-hero! And, no he is not my brother-in-law If you need AC, go with Pristine Air Conditioning. read more

From start to finish I had an excellent experience with Pristine. When I first called to schedule service, Samantha was very professional and helpful. Got me an appointment scheduled very quickly and sent an email to confirm. Jason was very professional when he came out for the service. I ended up having to replace my old unit and am very happy with the two guys that came out to do the install and with the new unit itself! My sister is going to be contacting Pristine to install a split unit for her too. That says it all that I would recommend Pristine to my family! read more

Our AC for our Computer Repair Shop is vital!. I don't know whatever happened to our last AC Technician, he must have went out of business or something. Anyway, I got a quick appt with Pristine Air for a Saturday after closing, and Jason and his crew promptly showed up and did the job. He even came back on another day to check up on how my system was performing after the service. Dale Powell http://gakidooscomputerrepair.com read more
