I selected Dr. Johsin Chen based on her background in nerve studies. During my first visit, I appreciated Dr. Chen's calm and ease. She asked very specific questions to help her understand what is happening. She then did a routine check and was unable to grasp the root. She shared that she wanted me to get an MRI of the brain and cervical spine and an EMG. She carefully explained what each test meant, what it would do and how long it would take to complete. She also timelined the procedures in chronological order to help me set my appointments in the right order. She then asked me a crucial question that I didn't even think to ask .... "Are you claustrophobic?" I said yes, like level 10. She then explained that there is a difference between a closed MRI and open MRI. She showed the pictures and I got anxiety just looking at the closed one. Side Note: How could anyone sit in that for 40 minutes...Not I. Dr. Chen then changes her orders to an open MRI. Overall, her level of care, details, and attentiveness was really nice. She did not rush our session nor did she get frustrated with my many questions. If you are new to the neurology world, I would recommend Dr. Chen. She uses plain language and is careful to explain everything. You will not be disappointed.

They don't answer their phones and it's unclear how to reach a person that you are looking for. They don't return phone calls. What they will do is call you and tell you to make an in-office appointment, if it's serious enough. That's my experience.

Terrible Doctor. My wife came in to establish healthcare as we are first-time MD residents. Dr…read more Tang denied her of routine blood tests that we wanted for our own knowledge as we have with our previous doctors. We insisted to have it drawn and was still denied. As patients, we have the right to know what the results of our blood tests are as part of an annual check up covered under insurance, even if the doctor recommends otherwise. I can't think of a reason why an internist would deny a standard blood test at an annual check-up other than being absolutely lazy. Checking blood work every 5-10 years leaves opportunities to miss early detection for a variety of diseases that can be seen before actual symptoms occur, and Dr. Tang robbed my wife of that. Find yourself a doctor who will actually take their job seriously.

JHH Medicare advantage Is buying names and street addresses from a marketing company to send out Via USPS junk mailings for medicare advantage advertisements. When you call the phone number in the junk mailings of 833-..etc....... a Dial America employees answer. Dial America was hired and paid by JHH Medicare Advantage to try and coax consumers to sign up for this program. JHH med Advantage program has been sending me USPS mailings for me for years. With someone elses name on my street address. I am the only one living in this home ever. I have opted out thru Dial AMerica and thru elaine dorsey and douglas hill. They all have put me on a 1 year or 3 year computer supressed system. Out of concern for someone elses name being associated with my street address I called the county tax records to see if this name was an error there. it wasnt. Everytime you call JHH medicare adv program they all say we can opt you out. Take all your inofrmation and never opt you out. This is dishonesty by JHH. I need the marketing company that JHH medicare adv program is buying street address and names from. I would call the marketing company to clear up the inaccurate name and get myself deleted from the marketing company. So JHH could not buy my address anymore. If marja is reading this respond by giivng me the marketing company you are buying street addrsses from.

Total waste of time now that I have to go and find another provider. I believe every single negative review written. This office is awful and it's highly frustrating. Do they not want to work? We got imaging done and 2 rounds of bloodwork all for this to be a complete waste of time. Staff is awful and unhelpful! Told me "ok" to finding another doctor. I'm literally flabbergasted. A money grab is what this practice is.

I was unaware of a balance that owed I did not get a bill in the mail although the receptionist stated rather rudely that one was sent. I asked if she (my mother) could still be seen and of course the answer was no. As a medical assistant who works in a primary care office, I understand things can fall through the cracks. I will also mention here that the office I work for refers ALL our neurology consult patients to DR. Miller's office. The receptionist was extremely rude and had cut me off several times. Called me rude when I stated that I was unaware of balance. She was NOT helpful and did little to improve over patient experience. Especially knowing the waiting room was full of other patients waiting to see the provider as well. Going forward I will make my office manager as well as all 7 of providers to find another neurologist to refer our patients to. To end this, you treat EVERY patient how you would want your relative treated if they needed care. This will not happen if you go to Dr Millers office.

I have been an eyewitness to how rude and unprofessional the front office staff is when it comes to dealing with patients. The front office staff are always available to check messages on their cell phone (kept on in their workspace) and gossip by the printer when there are people waiting to check in at the window. The front office staff in this office is the most uncaring, self-absorbed, unempathetic, rude ensemble of people I have experienced in a medical setting. When I see this, I have to put some blame on the management. When my girlfriend complained about no one ever answering the phone and the attitude of the front office staff, the Office Manager (Jasmine, but she wants you to call her "J") just blew her off. Jasmine stated that there is always someone at the window (no, there's not - they are not at the check in window if they have their backs turned to you and gossiping back by the printer/copier). So, my advice after what I witnessed my girlfriend go through . . . DO NOT GO TO THIS PAIN MANAGEMENT OFFICE IN GLEN BURNIE IN CRAIN TOWERS. Take your recovery and health seriously. Go to a place where they actually care about you!
