I sent a request thru Angie's List. Bob was the first one to call me and send me an email. He gave me the best price and the best customer service experience I have seen. He serviced the furnace and fixed a part that was leaking carbon monoxide thru a tiny hole in the furnace. He did not charge for the part or for labor. He fixed it because he said it was the right thing to do. Wow! Our ac went out on the hottest day of the year, I called these guys up and they sent a technician out. I had an uneasy feeling about these guys right out of the gate, even the initial phone call didn't go well. Then I come to find out the technician called the wrong number to verify the appointment. That Sinking Feeling amped up when the technician told me he's been doing this since December. Long story short, the technician kept telling me that this part went bad, and that part went bad,and with each part my estimate was going up $500. After about four hours the estimate was at $1,500 and he still didn't figure out exactly what was wrong with the unit,and now he was calling for reinforcements. That's when I told him he needed to leave, I have a friend who used to work in the field, he came over and had the air conditioner running within 20 minutes,granted, he did have to go and buy a new motor which he installed and one or two other small parts. My part bill was about $250. It's a shame that they send these guys out with little or no experience to try to diagnose a problem,and then the company feels the need to bilk their customers. BEWARE! THEY TOOK OUR $75 DEPOSIT AND WE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM. Nick from Priority One contacted me immediately (thru my request on HomeAdvisor) saying they would like the opportunity to quote repairing our mini-split A/C system. I asked if they charged a fee to come out and quote - both Nick and Bob said no. They came out the next day and looked at both the inside and outside units. We explained that the inside unit had an error communicating with the outside unit. They said inside unit would have to be replaced and they would look for a replacement unit for us. Then they asked for $75 saying that it would be applied to the total cost once the job was competed. Okay - fair enough. They cashed the check that day. 2 weeks went by and we never heard from them. When I called to follow-up, they said they were still looking for a unit. A couple weeks later, my husband fixed functionality of the inside unit, so I called again and left both Nick and Bob messages telling them that the inside unit was fixed and we only needed an estimate to repair the outside unit. No returned call. I called again and reached Nick who said he would need to talk to Bob. Again, no returned call. Two months had gone by now. I called again and left messages for both asking them to please provide us with an estimate so we could at least have a chance to apply the $75 that we paid them. And, if they could not provide an estimate within a week, that I would like our $75 back. Well, it is a week later and here I am writing this bad review. I WOULD NOT TRUST THESE GUYS IF I WERE YOU. read more

Watch out with this company. I was pleased with this company back in 2013 when we had our furnace & air unit installed and up until they maintenance our Furnace/air conditioner back on June 18th, 2019. After they serviced our air conditioner, (this is the 1st time) we had to have Bob come back out because the air was not working properly. Bob came out with his son and they had to put freon in the unit because it was low?? (Second time around) Then same issue occurred again. We had to call Bob back out, again! Bob said his son overfill the freon and had to take some out. Guess, what? Third times a charm! The air conditioner froze up. Called him again and left a message, in the meantime, we contacted another HVAC company that was a licensed Lennox dealer (He is not by the way) to come out and take a look at it because we felt the problem were getting worse and not getting resolved by him; so, we wanted to get a second opinion on what exactly was going on with the unit. About 2 hrs later, Bob calls back and asks "Did you replace the furnace filter?", "Yes, we did back on the 16th of September!" The other company came out on Monday for a fee of $79 (Service Fee) +$78 (To check for any leaks). They checked for the leaks on our furnace and air and found it was leaking from the outside and had oil all over the inside the air unit and the condensing coil went bad. Now, we have to pay out of our pocket to the new company $650 for labor costs with Lennox covering the coil. We text Bob the same day to let him know what the other company had found and never heard back from him. Bob and his son apparently did not thoroughly check the inside of the unit again when they came back out for the second time. Bob states all was in good working condition. If that's the case. Why all of a sudden is my unit loosing freon ? Then all of a sudden, he comes out for a second time to relieve freon and now I have a bad condensing coil? Somethings not matching up here! Bob says, it has nothing to do with him! The condensing coil can go out at any given time! Really?? First of all; he can't keep his story straight and he comes up with excuses on why this happened and how he ain't at fault. But, the fact is, he is at fault and it's his negligence due to the fact he was the only person to service our furnace/Air. I did put in a request for a refund thru the bbb, but he refuses to pay. Obviously... I would not recommend this company anymore. We are very dissatisfied with the end result. read more

Don't even bother with other companies. They were my third call for an AC replacement and I couldn't be happier. They are honest and caring and the price can't be beat. Call Bob, I tried other local Glen Ellyn companies and all were not nearly as competent. You won't be sorry! A+ in my book. I won't be using any other company! read more

I highly recommend this company. Super fast service with great prices!
