ATTENTION!! The first company that came to my home informed me I needed a new furnace and A/C. McNally's came to my home the very next day as I wanted a second opinion. Rigo looked at the photos the first company had taken but wanted to check for himself. He thoroughly went over the inside and outside of both units and saw that the photos from the first company were NOT of my furnace!!! I was shocked as I had used the first company to service my needs for many years! Together we compared both sets of photos. It was obvious the photos were not of the same furnace. Tried the "your heat exchanger is cracked" scam on me, immediately after taking of the cover. I was not born yesterday. I KNOW it takes a lot longer than 10 seconds to diagnose something like that, and I called about a rattle - it's summer, I didn't ask you to look at the furnace at all. Tech was rude and defensive and I'll take my business elsewhere. P.S. I also realize he parked his work truck in the driveway which is really unusual and a bit presumtious. Order for new base Lennox condenser and coil w/install $6319. McNallys installed and unit is nonfunctional. Ice and water damage on unit and flooding within a day of install. Unable to send same day technician to review or advise because of frost. They unable/unwilling to send after hours service for the next day (I cannot be home during 9-5 business hours due to work). This has been a nightmare situation. Update: McNallys sent a tech out on the following weekday to fix issue free of charge, which was a motor blower capacitor that had fried. read more

Russ with McNally's provided the most complete answers, presented several options to solve my issues and was by far the most experienced and knowledgeable. Next came the installation team, on time and ready to do the job. Jeff and his crew were great, walked me through everything they were doing, worked efficiently and cleaned up. Mark from Jeff's crew even took one for the team and crawled through a dirt crawl space to wire the heat pump. New Years Eve 5pm my furnace stops working. I called the company that sold me the system and has been doing regular maintenance for several years. A huge, national company has only one local service tech, he can come Thursday afternoon. 4 days with no heat? So I had heard that people were pretty happy with McNally's and I called them. Cory called me back in an hour to say he was on his way. He couldn't have been nicer, even remembered being here when he worked for my (now former) heating contractor. Just hired them clean to my air ducts. We requested to have our dryer vents cleaned. The service person stated that he couldn't do it because of the vent being on the roof with snow--that's understandable. However, he did say he'd pull the dryer from the wall and at least get some of the packed-in lint. He didn't do this. I submitted an online inquiry on their website Sunday night and a nice lady called me back first thing Monday morning - she got me scheduled to have someone from their company, Jimmy, come out mid-day to look at our AC unit that wasn't cooling our home effectively. He arrived early and fixed the issue within an hour with a price that seemed reasonable. It's back to working normally! Our Ac has been a challenge since we moved into the house 2 years ago. We were able to stretch it along, but finally became impossible to maintain. The furnace was original (23 years old), so decided to do the entire thing and replace the furnace and AC. First had a quote from another company. A lot of issues with them that I don't need to go into, but I was worried this was what replacing a furnace/ac entailed and was bunkering down for a long process. The next day, in came Russ from McNally's. Professional, knowledgeable, and not really too aggressive. He made the other company look like amateurs! He was even able to explain how a furnace/AC works with a basic drawing as he explained it, and my wife was able to learn more in that 5 minutes than I was able to teach her over 2 years! Not only was he not scummy/sleazy like the other company, the price was fair and sounded like a good deal; even throwing in a few odds and ends (I'm sure it wasn't because I am so amazing, but was still the better deal at the end of the day). He had me sold on McNally's before even showing me the product or the price. He explained all the paperwork and was flexible with setting the install up (even with being super busy already this year, he was able to fit us in reasonably)! He even explained some of the tricks other companies use to make you think they have a better deal (and recognized some from the company the day before, before I had even told him who I had priced from so far). I felt really comfortable choosing McNallys, and Russ, more my replacement unit. If I can't say enough about Russ, in walk Tyler and Pete. The installers immediately stood out, being professional and explaining the days activities. They used tarps to protect the floors inside, and were mindful of walls. I felt they got the work done in a relatively timed manner. They explained things as they went, and why and how they were doing things. Clearly they were experienced and knowledgeable. The kind of experience you can tell there is no BS; something people can't fake when they don't know their trade. They worked well together and could tell had a lot of time as partners. I've had a few people in that line of business look at their work, and nothing but compliments of the level of work, and the cleanliness and care they took. Spending that kind of money to replace something you rely on all year long, I am very content knowing my family will be comfortable and safe all year round! I'm the kind of guy that prefers to usually handle his own maintenance and upkeep, however, after seeing the level of care and commitment these gentlemen had with their work, I will be using McNallys for all my Hvac needs from now on!
