Our Dryer vent needed cleaning desperately, but our large frontloader washer and dryer are in a closet on the second floor with the vent going out to the roof. The phone service was immediate and professional. The day of service, Dr. Duct phoned to give fair notice 30 min upon arrival in time slot assigned to us when we called two days prior. Our service man, Scott was prompt and confident to address our issue. Our problem was a purchased a do-it-yourself dry vent brush that became stuck on our joint close to the exit vent. Scott made several attempts to try and lodge out brush, to then recommended to saw about a foot of drywall behind dryer to get arm reach distance where my brush and rod was stuck. It's was successful ! He made sure vent was clean with blower, attached back the Tin aluminum , taped and clamped vent flexi hose. called this business because of so much dust coming from our ducts. Paid $900 to have ducts cleaned and sealed with him promising his warranty would solve the dust problem. It did now help, in fact maybe worse. Called again,he argued that the dust was not coming from the ducts??? He said to call again after Christmas if no better, we called, set appt. The guys from Mr. Duct were on time, very professional, and did a fantastic job. The house that I moved into had a pungent curry smell and we did a lot of cleaning, but couldn't get rid of the smell. The Mr. Duct guys said that the air ducts and lint duct were so filthy that it looks like they were never cleaned at all (the house was built in 1989 and had one owner). They did a thorough job and after they were done 90% of the curry smell was just about gone. I plan to prime the walls and paint them, but Mr. Duct really helped improve the air quality and odor in the house just from cleaning the ducts. I highly recommend them and you should get your ducts cleaned by them to help improve the air quality of your home, especially if you have asthma or other respiratory issues like my wife and myself have. UPDATE: The owner Keith called me this morning, He was as concerned as I was about the situation. We had a productive discussion, found a resolution, and most importantly, Keith emphasized how important it was to him no other customer has the same experience I did. I feel Keith's focus was to resolve these issues in a way that benefits his customers, his employees and, as a result of that, his business. I'm so please he reached out personally and we were able to find solutions. He clarified there was to be no difference in service, that i had been provided a customer-loyalty discount as I was originally told. He advised he would ensure effective communication of this to the field. He agreed the way my home was left was sub-par and discussed new procedures he would implement to help ensure such incidents do not re-occur for any customer in the future. To seal the deal, Keith will send out new technicians to inspect all my vents, even the ones I cannot access myself, and to also ensure all work was properly performed. I am glad he called and we could sort out what has been a very good relationship in the past. Thank you Keith for taking time to listen and working to resolve these issues - it was a pleasure speaking with you. I've actually used them for years, and they were fine all those years. But this year they offered deep cuts in their rates for the same service. But when the technicians came, they asked me if I understood the new rate did not include two items they used to do each year. I said no, I had not been told that. They then went to work. Seemed like two nice guys, but only the sofa was returned to its original position. I am still not sure if all the vents were put back properly because some I am too disabled to view myself. I called to let them know there were vents which were just hastily laid into position, but not seated properly and a TV console that was moved but not put back in place. They did send technicians out the next day to fix the issues, but sadly there were things I still had not seen, like the damage to my basement screen, which they took out to run an equipment hose through. Sadly, something is not right at Mr Duct suddenly. I got a cheap rate, but will now have to pay for a new basement screen and its installation, as I am unable to do it myself. After they sent the technicians out, they asked me to do a positive review for them. I declined and was not going to do a review at all -- but honestly, it was so bad it felt wrong not to let others know something went terribly wrong. The basement screen is about $28 to replace, and it may be a while before I have anyone in the house who can check one of the more difficult duct covers to reach. I gave them two stars for being willing to come back out. read more

I called Mr Duct for a quote to clean my dryer vent. I ended up booking and the men were at my house within 30 minutes. They happened to be in the area. They did a great job and were done quickly. It turned out that rain had gotten into our vent from the outside and the wet lint was creating a blockage. It was causing a smell and there was dripping from the vent hose attached to the wall.
