I wish I could give 10 stars. I was blown away with the service provided by Priority Moving. Alex A. and Chris showed arrived at my storage facility ahead of schedule and gave me a call 30 minutes prior to arrival so I had time to meet them there. They quickly transferred my belongings from the unit into their van and then delivered them to my apartment. This whole process took a lot less time than I anticipated. Both Alex and Chris were extremely trustworthy and dependable and I felt very comfortable leaving them both at the storage facility and in my new apartment as i went out to run errands as they worked. Very late review but the great job these guys did is not easily forgotten. I scheduled them toward the end of February. They were very open and had great communication with them on the days leading up. Just to get this out of the way, they were the best priced and I assumed it would come with some drawbacks but I could not have been more wrong. They were professional and took great care of all my furniture and fragile items. They worked fast and efficiently and were very thorough and detailed with all the information and pricing. Hard working and creative when issues came up -- they were dedicated to resolving them. And they did! The driveway leading to my new house where my goods were to be delivered was very challenging -- steep, gravel, and a sharp turn. The driver made it all the way to the house. Incredible! Had a local move last week from NE Portland to Beaverton, and the crew of Tony and Anthony (or Tony squared) was great. They arrived earlier than scheduled (had a courtesy call), very efficient, kind, transparent, and made me feel like they were very mindful of my time being on an hourly rate. That is what I appreciated the most. While I didn't utilize majority of their box truck as I didn't have too much stuff, they were able to also take some larger furniture items I didn't want which was an added plus. They tried to protect our new home as much as possible, and while they did leave a couple of scratches/scuffs on the trim of our stairs it was overall pretty minimal and understandable as they had to help move an extra heavy couch upstairs. Wow, just wow! I shopped hard for movers this time. Did my research on insurance law, compared policies, and did the math on several companies' rates. I reached out to 5 companies for quotes, through Yelp. 1 company didn't respond, 1 was too expensive, and 3 were in the running. I had lots of questions, and after a couple of back-and-forth exchanges, 2 of the guys just stopped responding. Josh from Priority Movers hung in there, taught me a few things, and gave me great advice. When I was ready to book, we took care of it over the phone, and he booked exactly the date and time I wanted, for two stops: storage unit, and new residence. When I called nearer to the date to confirm, he assured me we were good to go, and answered some packing questions I had. Excellent job, Josh. He also let me know that if I paid in cash, I got a 7% discount. Cool! Customer service on point! Day-of: Brandon, Carlos,and Bell showed up on-time and caffeinated. We did a brief walk-through, and talked about what would go to storage, what would go to the new place. I signed the bill of landing, and then they got to WORK. They laid out a red carpet, and straight hustled. They were done loading in one hour, then drove 45 min across town. After unloading at the unit, then the house, they only took 3 hours; 2 hours less than I thought!! So impressed! They were quick, careful, polite, and cheerful. These guys!!! Came in and worked non-stop for a LOOOOONG day which included a drive up to Seattle AND back down to Oregon. The 3 J's were busy packing and moving and filling up the moving van. Michael always answered the phone and was great and walking through the process and answering questions (and sometimes re-explaining something)!
