Took apart and put back together a 2,000 bed beautifully

I was very pleased with Priority Moving Services. Michael was easy to work with over the phone, and the men he sent knew what they were doing . . . including moving my husband's grand piano downstairs to the truck and then relocating it 85 miles away to its new home. They worked fast and efficiently to get us into our new home. The price was very close to what we expected, and we were grateful that it was not over! I would highly recommend.

This was our first time hiring Priority Moving, and I am glad we did. It was the most positive moving experience I've ever had. They protected all our furniture really well and listened to every direction I gave on where to place items in the new house. Previous movers I've worked with just bulldoze past me and set things where they want, not stopping to listen at all. We were moving between two 3-bedroom houses, each with 2 stories, and it took around 8 hours. It took longer than other moves I've had, but it's clear they prioritize caring for your belongings and doing things right over going as fast as possible. The only hiccups we had were not being able to fit the last few items on the truck (at least not safely), and we lost a plastic foot to our bed frame. I woud recommend them to anyone looking for careful movers. Someone looking for the fastest and cheapest should look somewhere else. But the 10% discount for paying with cash was a really nice benefit!

I had a huge, 500lb cast iron tub that I needed carried up from the curb into my house, up two sets of concrete stairs outside. After having another moving company come out the day-of and tell me they weren't able to move something of this weight up the stairs, I gave Priority Moving Services a call. Michael and the crew were able to get out to me that same day, and carried the tub up the stairs flawlessly and efficiently. I'm incredibly impressed with the customer service and onsite service the team at Priority Moving Services provided to me in my time of urgent need. Both the customer communication and the labor provided are top-notch at this company, and I know where I'll be going anytime I need something heavy moved again.

I should have just gotten my friends and a uhaul to move, but i was promised it would take 5hrs. i was billed 5.5hrs. tip top of the money i had left. and they didn't even have time to move everything. why? because their recklessness with my things i didn't want them carrying my computer monitors. they were hired to pack and move stuff across portland. they came at 1:30 when they said only to tell me that they didn't know they needed all the packing stuff. they eventually arrived nearly 2hrs later and towards the END Of the original window i was promised without any 'hey we will be there at this ETA' they said they got stuck behind a train, which is fine i guess? but no update after that until i called and complained, which got me a 5% discount, which is nice i guess? but like everything that happened after were MASSIVE red flags, both for the computer and the 'movers' which felt like contractors they just hired for whatever without properly vetting. i had a small move, 2 rooms. they were the slowest movers and most reckless movers i've ever hired. but i don't really blame them fully for that. supposedly they were working since 8am and just drove up from salem or something. they didn't even eat lunch. is that even legal?! no wonder they came to the door exhausted already and out of it. These 2 guys did the best they could, but honestly with how exhausted I was from helping them (something i SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO DO), they were doing a good job, but that doesn't really matter. in the end this guy ruined my 2000 custom built standing desk for music. not sure if i can get it repaired or fixed. he undid it and said he will put it back together. it was pretty easy just a few bolts into the joints between the wooden top and the legs and putting on the keyboard tray. easy stuff for the most part (when you have a drill, i don't own one). this guy didn't even look at where he was drilling or understand how the desk was put together after showing him specific things. he just drilled in the bolts and they hit a part that they're supposed to go into but was put in backwards making it impossible (on purpose) to get the screw in. this guy just kept drilling harder and harder and when i asked him about it he was like yeah it's supposed to sound like that. He either was so exhausted he couldn't think straight or just took on tasks he could have said 'yeah i don't know how to do that, can you do it?' either way now i have a broken desk that's only partially built and put together. i am really glad i moved all of my expensive stuff to my place with a friend last weekend, because they definitely would have broken a lot of very expensive things! I also gave them a mattress cover to put on the mattress, and they struggled doing that. You are movers wtf?! i zipped it up about half way and moved on. Then when we got to my new place they didn't even use it and put the mattress on the pavement to get a better angle or something. like what was the point in bringing it?! They also dropped a bunch of precious memories i had in a bin in a bin, they said they took them out because the outer bin couldn't close (bs). They were holding it open wrapped around their arm and i asked them to close it as it doesn't look secure and he said it would be fine, then immediately drops it with pictures and papers dropping on the ground and getting dirty. Anyway this all just happened. and there's no way I can live in my new place due to the lack of time they afforded to me to actually place things in the right spot. At least my bed is in the right spot. luckily for now i am in a short term rental because my last place had mold and why I am moving. i am highly allergic and being there as long as i did, both to wait for them to show up and how slowly they worked on loading the truck, I am feeling sick again because of it. The estimate was low balled to say the least because these guys move at a snails pace because this company overworks them and treats likely their staff like crap. these are probably more desperate people looking for an easy pay day. one guy was like 'i worked 4 days this month' and the other one worked 6 days in a row. a 12 hr day without a break outside of driving (which isn't a break) isn't really fair or legal? I paid nearly 1k for this move, and you can't afford to give these people a proper break between moves? I'm sure they weren't making nearly enough either. Lastly they pressured me to sign a thing at the end of the receipt that says everything was delivered intact, which i didn't sign. Anyway go with another company, not worth the risk. I didn't have another weekend to do this move as i need to have a livable space and that takes time as well. Anyway the movers were careless, slow, expensive, and ignored instructions.

Where do I start? First they were late 1 hr, everything went quite well until 2 movers (one being…read morethe manager of the Tillamook branch) got in a fight and the injured party called the police and 4 cop cars showed up on our property and a police officer walked into the house without permission, not knocking or calling out. The incident happened down the road where the truck was being loaded, so my son had no idea what was going on. My husband & I had headed out about 2 hrs. prior to all of this, so we were not there. Needless to say there was approximately a 2 hr delay while all of this was going on and by 8PM (after being there from 10AM), my son had a 2 hr drive to the new house, so he suggested they finish up without him being there. They kept the truck loaded overnight because they probably would have arrived by midnight!! The next morning I tried calling by 7:30 AM for 2 hrs. with no one answering the phone. Finally I got a hold of the manager around 9:30 and was told they would be arriving sometime in the afternoon and I asked that he call when they were on there way. They showed up around 3PM with no advance notice. They started unloading and I got a call from an accounts receivable person asking that we pay up before they unload. The estimate that I was given was $4800 and they ended up charging me a total of $6200 with some minor adjustments because of the incident. Basically we were held hostage as she told us she would tell them to stop unloading the truck. So we had to pay. All we asked was that they just charge us the original $4800 quoted. And on top of all that, they left a quite a lot of stuff behind in the house. This is a horrible company and I will be pursuing some sort of retribution through the state and most moving companies in the state of Oregon are controlled. DO NOT USE COASTLINE MOVERS!! I have not heard from anyone at the top for an apology.
