I have used Cornelius Pass mini Storage over the past several years off and on when i needed extra storage. Have never wanted to use any other storage facility. I asked for an extra day to get my stuff out to avoid charges due to covid exposure on SF that delayed my return but they refused. It was ok for them to shutdown in person payment and not allow online payment the weekend before. I was trying to get my stuff out the weekend before but could get a return phone call in a timely fashion to get in the gate. Would use another provider in the future!!! read more

Summary: Confirm that your reservation is for the amount that you made it for (they only guarantee for 6 hours). I made a reservation for a uhaul with them for 24 hours... Two days before my move, I called them to ask if I could pick up a little later than my original time (around 6pm instead of 5pm). The rep asked if I was planning to return early in the morning the next day... I said my reservation was for 24 hours and would only return at 5pm the following day. The rep said that they have another reservatoin for the same truck at 11am or so the next day. When asked, he said that they only guarantee the reservation for 6 hours and beyond that, it all depends on the availability. He further started asking me how big my apartment was and why it would take 24 hours for that move, etc... and was being rude. It was none of his business to make recommendations. I asked him to cancel the reservation, which he did not for a day... I did it myself to avoid being charged. Pathetic strategies to draw money out of their clients. Thankfully, I could find another truck at another location (U-Haul Moving & Storage of Hillsboro on Cornell Rd) - no issues with them. read more

I am very happy and impressed with Cornelius Pass Mini Storage. Tena and her husband were very helpful in getting us squared away with our storage/size concerns. Very nice people and easy to work with. I had some challenges getting set up for paying online and Tena was so nice and happy to assist me. This facility is well-maintained and clean, with affordable pricing and secure access to units. I feel confident and comfortable having my stuff securely stored here. Used this place as a drop off location for a Uhaul rental. Was worried about being a bit past the drop off time, so called and played phone tag with the office. Was told by Phil in *recorded* voicemail that "we are not concerned what time you bring it in. If we are not in the office put the key in the slot of the door and we will check it in then." So i followed these instructions, and was charged for an extra day anyway. I was also charged by them a $25 cleaning fee which is absolutely ridiculous. I ALWAYS keep my truck clean of sweep if its needed, and I have never been charged a cleaning fee with all the trucks I have rented. Everything I moved was in boxes, there was nothing on the floor that wasn't there when I rented the truck. When I called in to speak with someone there about the charges, the woman I spoke with (Tina if I recall correctly) was very rude and short with me, interrupting me on several occasions. Was not understanding or willing to help at all, and immediately referred me to the field manager as she was clearly not willing to assist me in any way. I have been a customer service manager for 7 years and know what good service is all about. This conversation was one of the worst customer experiences I have had in a long time. I will never drop off a truck at this location again or do any kind of business with them. *the Uhaul regional manager was extremely helpful in this matter by the way, which is why I always use Uhaul. Lesson learned - use the Uhaul locations for pickup and dropoff!! read more

I used this location for Uhaul truck rental and would NEVER recommend it. I have been renting uhaul at various other locations and never had any complaints. First of, I had to wait more than 15 min while manager gave training on phone to someone else how to use the uhaul software interface. Not just me, there were other people waiting as well. Then I had to point out that initial estimate given was much more than I was expecting (it was charging me for 2 days even though I was returning the same day). So you should definitely do your math to avoid any over payment. And worst of all, they charged me $25 cleaning fees even though truck was completely empty without any trash. I have returned uhaul trucks like this several times and have never been charged cleaning fees. I see similar complaints in other reviews about charging cleaning fees at this location. I got a refund from uhaul when I filed a complaint but not from this location when I called and emailed them. They would continue to argue that they had to sweep clean and by the photos they sent me, there was only fistful of dust that came out of their sweeping. I would strongly suggest choosing some other uhaul pick-up location. NOT RECOMMEND. read more

We used this place for many many years - and experienced managers from hell - to the ones that are there now who are great and friendly. I was not overly impressed with my experience here though. It tried to be clean but never really accomplished it. There were problems with mice and bugs. And like I said bad managers in the past. One man, who was constantly unfriendly, rude and angry (for no apparent reason) yelled at my 77 year old Mother (who also had a unit here) for using the dumpster. At this time our family had three YES THREE units...and the use of the dumpster was part of the rental. He dressed her down one side and up the other. This is when we decided to leave. I have storage at this location and have no complaints. Prices are reasonable, Facility is clean, secure. The reason for the favorable rating? I lost my debit card on a Saturday. While looking for it I get a message from Tina about finding it at their location. I was there just an hour or so earlier. I had my stuff here for 3 months and it was great. The specials can't be beat and this location is half the cost of other storage places. Friendly site managers who helped when I needed it. They advertise the truck i rented for $39.95 per day. I was first charged $48.75 and when i returned the truck less than 24hours later i was charged another $51!!!!!!! so it cost me $163 to rent the stupid thing!!!! Oh i drove it about 50 miles and got charged for that too per mile. then $25 for a cleaning fee!? i cleaned the damn thing myself!!!!!!!!!! read more
