I was totally ripped off! This entire experience was one of the worst I've ever had with a car dealership and there is no way I will be getting my next car from a Priority Dealership. It started with a phone call talking to a less than enthusiastic sales rep, not even offering to find me the car I described. Called back the next day and asked for a manager, got Denise on the phone. I told her I wasn't happy with the person I spoke with the day before so she put me with Reidding. I had told both Denise and Reidding that I was looking for the same car I currently had minus the navigation. No problem they said. Reidding was very personable on the phone and I thought everything was going great. I gave him the VIN number of the car I would be trading in and told him exactly what I was looking for. It seemed he was making the process so easy. He found the car and I confirmed once again on the phone and via email that this car had everything the on it my current car had minus the navigation. He said it did and we made a plan to come in the following Sunday. We get to the dealership after travelling an hour and he is off that day. I should've walked out but we didn't. They had another salesman help us ( at the time I didn't realize they put me with the original salesman I said I didn't want to work with). After 5 hours at the dealership we finally finish the sale and it isn't until we are driving home that we realize there is no automatic lane departure notification. Cut to my talking to Reidding about this since he was the one who guaranteed me it had everything my traded car had but the nav. He explains to me that there are different trims on the Honda Accord and this one didn't have that feature and claims he didn't know my car had it. He had my VIN number how could he not know?! We find out it isn't even something that can be added to the car. He suggests talking to his manager and seeing if there is anything they can do for us, perhaps some kind of credit in the service dept. I also want to mention when I called upset about this I asked for Denise and she tried to say that I didn't ask for what I said I did and that Reidding isn't a sales person he is a sales manager. Way to go managing team. Do I care what his title is? NO! I said I didn't want to work with the original sales person I spoke to so if you put me with someone else I assume that is a salesperson. This should have nothing to do with anything at this point. Five days after purchasing the car we are at the dealership getting temp tags as being in another state I was unable to just transfer my tags from the traded car. This was a Friday actually so any DMV work couldn't have taken place that fast. On Monday I get a call from Matt, another sales manager. Matt says Reidding told him what happened and he wants to see if there is anything he can do. I feel like he was feigning concern and had no intention of making this sale right. He got back to me saying the DMV work had already been done so there wasn't anything he could do. I don't buy that for a minute because as I said there is no way the DMV works that fast on a Friday to a Monday. They got a better car from me, the one I traded, and although I got a newer model, the features aren't as nice as the one I gave them. I feel totally scammed and ripped off. We even paid a $250 fee for them to retrieve the car from another dealership only for them to get a car that seemed like the same one I traded but clearly was not. Denise lied on two occasions, once saying I never asked for the same features my car had on another one. Of course I did, that was all I kept saying all week on the phone to Reidding and Denise. Denise also lied when she told Matt she called and spoke with the other person in my party claiming we were ok with the car the way it is. That call NEVER happened and we were NOT OK with the new car. I miss my old car and it's top of the line features. This is the reason car dealers will always have the slimy reputation they have been plagued with for so many years. I will never get my future vehicles from a Priority Dealership. Their "Priority" isn't their customers, their "Priority" is themselves and making a sale. read more
